Came here on a Monday (when they'd opened specifically for an LFC match) and was blown away by the hospitality - Irish coffees and HT pizza anyone? - and the kindness shown to me by Jet (hope I've spelled tha right) who was running the place and assorted legends partaking in the match / beer / whisky. They even gave me a Detroit LFC supporters scarf which I'll be sure to take to Anfield when I next go. Super fun and lovely people - thank you!“

“Stopped here before a concert at LCA last night - obviously busy, but wait wasn’t bad at all and we were able to get a drink at the bar and wait outside. I wish I could remember our servers name, but she was absolutely stellar! She was super friendly, funny and quick despite having a large section on a busy night. Got the shrimp tacos (AMAZING and filling - has a perfect amount of “kick”) and my husband got the hot chicken sandwich (the one small bite I was allowed was phenomenal) overall 10/10 experience!“

“Went there 30 minutes before closing looking for drinks and some apps and it did not disappoint! I had the winter special old fashioned and it was wonderful! The food we ordered was also excellent, however, our bartender made the experience truly great! Rob was such an engaging and entertaining bartender. We had such fun conversations with him and he kept the bar open for us after closing time! If he’s there, we’re definitely headed back.“

“We had a rehearsal dinner for 40 people at Sheilds in Detroit and it was the best experience ever! The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was great and the staff were so awesome!!! When we got there everything was set up for us and they were very welcoming. The manager Jason was great, and had everything running smoothly. The wait staff…shout out to L & D we’re phenomenal! They were right there with refills, smiles, jokes and anything you needed. They made the experience so wonderful!!! I would recommend to anyone looking for a party venue, or just a dinner out to come eat here!! 5 stars!!!!!!“

“My girlfriend and meself stopped in randomly after the Eastern Market and had one of the best meals and experience we’ve had while visiting Detroit. The Tokyo muscles were the best muscles I’ve ever had. We had a classic Bloody Mary and their hot sauce really brought some heat! We got the Carmel cookie coffee as well and that was swell as well. The environment and staff especially made the experience even better. We had Rhonda as a server and she was very pleasant and helped give us recommendations that turned out to be very tasty. Overall we were glad we chose to eat at Vivio’s and will definitely be back next time we wander to Detroit.“

“We randomly walked in before the Thanksgiving day parade just to warm up and grab a drink. Before we knew it we were welcomed with open arms to enjoy watching the parade from the giant enclosed and beautiful rooftop area! What an incredible view and experience! “The Detroiter is awesome. Phenomenal staff and fantastic food. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I've had the saganaki sausage, Greek grilled chicken salad, waffle fries, fish and chips, and of course their burger...I'd get each one again lol. No pizza, flatbread or dips available when we came. Which really limits the menu. But the service and drinks were excellent! The bartender, Maya was so sweet, kind and proficient! On the negative side though, a tall Tito's & water was $11!

Waitress was very polite, etc. Great service - but come on with scanning to get alcoholic beverages, lol and a $1.00 for some more bread. The four of us ate the "three" pieces we were given. I still love you all, but this is a criticism from a very loyal customer who has been visiting your Restuarant for YEARS! I did my undergraduate and graduate studies at Wayne State University right down the street. Starter's has been my spot. Peace.“
