“Food is a little pricey but very plentiful and good. Server seemed not to understand English well but June stepped in to help and proved to be a breath of fresh air. “Okay first is the food, the food is amazing and freshly hand pulled with good toppings and have good sauces to make your food taste even better, the service is good but a little messy when it’s packed but what can you expect? The workers are super nice and get your food out very quickly, I usually go with my younger cousin and they treat everybody like family and friends. The atmosphere is very traditional and has very nice paintings and decor, they also play very popular and enjoyable songs. “Ever since the ownership has changed at Lim's Star it has become my family's favorite Chinese restaurant. We order both takeout and dine in and have never had an issue. My 5 and 8 year olds love the food and always ask to go here. My wife and I have tried many items on the menu and have been pleased with them all. Tim and family have done a great job with revitalizing this place and we will continue to return and recommend to everyone! You won't be disappointed.“

“They completely changed their setup for the better since the last time I visited. Now it is hot pot and kbbq for $29. The meats and veggies are now buffet style, which I really liked. I would say the meat selection was not very expansive, but what they did have was very good and hit the hot pot spot for me.“

“Tried it last night for the first time. It was delicious. I had the Sesame Chicken combo with fried rice and egg roll. It's arguably the best Sesame Chicken in Oakland County. My wife had the Orange Chicken combo with white rice and an egg roll. Her dinner was also amazing. She also got a large order of Eggdrop soup and loved it as well. She said it's a little different from other egg drop soups she's tried, but she said it was delicious and will definitely eat it again. The egg rolls had huge chunks of pork in them, they were so good. Portions are very large, and the prices are reasonable. I think it was around $30 for two huge meals and a quart of soup. This place only does carry out. The staff was very friendly. 10/10 recommend! Will definitely order from here again.“

“I have been going here for 34 years and their Almond Boneless Chicken is the best! Occasionally they get some tough chicken and it's very disappointing so I really suggest they think about a better chicken provider.Everything I have had there is so good. The egg rolls and wonton soup are delicious. I highly recommend this place to everyone because there are so many people that have no idea what good Chinese food tastes like. Places they say are good are awful! The prices here are so reasonable and the service is always good. “Hunan Town is our family’s go-to place for Chinese food. We’ve been loyal customers for many, many years. Originally, Charles and Lily owned Hunan Garden at 10 Mile and Telegraph. We were crushed when the restaurant closed, but ecstatic to find the new location, renamed Hunan Town, on W. 12. Mile. The new place provides carry out service. The food is excellent, and the portions are super generous. Some of our favorite dishes are Deluxe Lo Mein, General Tso’s Shrimp, and Chicken Chow Mein. “Lunch Deluxe Bento box is great. A ton of food, but it's not always consistent. The Sesame Chicken and General Tso's Chicken are good, not great. The California roll is very good as well. They do have amazing prices for the amount of food you get.Parking: Small parking lot with the Starbucks drive thru that can block the parking at times. Getting out of the parking lot onto the street if you're turning left is definitely difficult, but it's a strip mall on a busy corner but that's not their fault.“
