“Wow. Tbh I was a little skeptical bc good Thai food can be hard to come by these days, but Saab Sis Thai is a keeper:- Generous portions.- Reasonable prices.- Great balance of flavors (Just a reminder that Thai medium can be quite spicy haha). In particular, the grilled tilapia was great! (Pro tip: kindly ask for a reheat and they will refry the other side so both sides are crispy.) The balance between the fish and the sauce was ?.The papaya salad Laos style with the crab was a great accompaniment to the pineapple fried rice and pad Thai entrees we ordered. The service and vibe was also on point. Keep in mind the place isn’t that big, so if you’re coming with a party of 4+ you might want to call ahead.Looking forward to coming back again!Edit: Came back again to make sure the first time wasn’t a fluke. It wasn’t haha. The pad see ew might be the best I’ve ever had. I found that “mild +” is the right spice level for me. The papaya salad + fried tilapia is the perfect combo for a flavor bomb with a cacophony of textures. We will be back again!“
“As a Thai American, I don’t usually eat at Thai restaurants in Michigan because many places don’t make authentic Thai food. I now have a place I can order all of my favorite Thai dishes, and all of the flavors are on point. The fried rice and pad Thai taste just like they do in Bangkok, and pad khing tastes like how my mom would cook it for me. They truly care about good food here, and I will be going back soon!“
“Let me tell you about this amazing place called "My Thai" From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, ranging from classic comfort food to innovative culinary creations. The service is impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Whether you're a foodie looking for unique flavors or simply craving a delicious meal, "My Thai " is definitely a must-visit spot.“
“We work down the road and were looking for a new Thai place to get lunch from. Food was ready quickly and was absolutely amazing! The chicken was really tender and not rubbery like you get at some places. Veggies were fresh and the sauce wasn't overly salty. We can not wait to order takeout again. The inside is adorable and cozy, I can't wait to dine in with my husband as well.“
“Friendly.Clean.Delicous. We dined in. This is not FAST FOOD. Worth the wait. Ordered Satay Chicken and Beef Pad Thai. Medium level was perfect for me. Hot Level had my nephew ?. Food portion is a nice size and price for dinner was $40. Enjoyed the music. We recommend and we will return soon. Free parking.“
“Really great, flavorful Thai food! The dine in space is cute, and the service was great! Everyone was so friendly. I ordered the Bangkok fried rice, medium spice. It was a huge portion, and they were not shy on the shrimp and chicken. I also ordered the tofu tod which was also really good. I would definitely come back!Vegetarian options: Everything can be made vegetarian“
“If you want good Thai food, you have found the perfect place at Amy’s. If you pay in cash you get a 15 percent discount and your beverage is included with your meal. My favorite is the Bang Bang Chicken. They are very friendly at Amy’s as well. Check them out, you will not be disappointed.“
“The sushi is really good. Prices are fair and service is great. I’d like to see this place full of customers because the food deserves to be tasted by many others. I guess the place could use some updates and that’s why it isn’t attracting as much people. However, I’ve gone once and quite late, so that might be the reason it was almost empty.“
“HIGHLY RECOMMEND this family operated restaurant!! I was visiting the area for work trip and stayed at hotel walking distance from Wokabob. Saw the positive reviews and walked over to order dinner to go eat back in my room. So many options I wanted to try - I went with the D-Jay (drunken noodles and chicken shawarma) spice of mild plus. As I was waiting for my meal to be prepared I talked with the owner (wife) Natalie who is so friendly with her service. I told her I will have to come back tomorrow to order another dish it all looked so good! When she handed me my to go order (one meal) I could not believe how heavy the bag was, felt like a lot of food! It was so delicious, a nice heat level, so much flavor and huge portion. I went back for lunch the next day AND ordered another meal for dinner. This time was husband owner “Papi” who I met and I ordered his signature dish of Pineapple fried rice with shrimp kabob and also a shrimp pad Thai. Again, generous portions of tasty fresh food spiced as I liked it mild plus. I ate lunch in the restaurant and took the rest back home for dinner. Food is A + I want to try more dishes next time I am in town. The shrimp very flavorful can taste the high quality ingredients in all dishes I enjoyed. The food is prepared with love and pride. Such kind warm people here this is the kind of family business I want to return to and see thrive. Restaurant is very clean. Such a great place!!“
“10/10 Thai food with amazing service. We started with Thai tea which was very refreshing and flavorful. I got the Panang curry with chicken, which was a coconut curry with the perfect balance of sweet and savory. Great portion sizes & comfortable level of spice. I would highly recommend!!“
“Their hot and sour soup is different from almost any other hot and sour soup I've come across before. It's lighter in color and less vinegary and is spiced perfectly (not just heat-wise but the flavor is slightly different from others). It tastes so good. It's my favorite and has been since I used to go to their other location on Rochester road (which I think isn't there any more) many years ago. I drive out of my way just for the hot and sour soup. It's so good to me that I've never tried their Tom yum soup so I can't review that. Their other dishes are very flavorful and delicious. Their prices are reasonable as well. There is only one other Thai restaurant in metro Detroit that has food which I would rate higher but only by just a tiny tiny bit. Orchid Cafe still gets 5 stars from me. Orchid Cafe is one of the best Thai restaurants in metro Detroit and I've never had a bad experience here.“
“I’ll start off by saying I’ve been coming here for 15 years.. the food has not changed. I started coming in high school and back then I stayed safe with only getting the Pad Thai or the Drunken Noodle(which are both amazing), now I’ll try just about anything on the menu because I know it’ll be great. The Lanna Noodles are probably my go-to choice. The spring rolls are a must get every time. Whether you choose to stay “safe” with your ordering choices or if you like to expand and experience other flavors, there is something here for you to try.“
“Just as good as I remember! The new restaurant has a great mix of the old decor and new. Everything was very clean. Staff is getting the hang of things, but to be honest they did a wonderful job for just opening. Aimee was wonderful. The sushi/fish is very fresh. I would highly recommend Little Tree!“
“I love this place so much. Everything on their menu rocks. Service is excellent, even with them being constantly busy. Can’t beat this spot for amazing pho. My photos are from a day we specifically set out to try non pho items, which also slapped. Highlyyyyyy recommend. Highly. (Enthusiastic Emphasis added!)“
“I went for lunch on a recommendation of a friend. Service was prompt and attentive, even though there were several others dining in for lunch at the time. My food took a little longer to make, but I was not disappointed. The food was flavorful, and not salty. The portions size was more than enough for me to eat. No soup or spring roll with lunch, but it wasn’t needed with the amount of food that I received. I will definitely return.“
“My favorite Thai spot, hands down, I drive over an hour sometimes, and they have never disappointed me. If you want good food and great service, this is it! They have the best prices and the best tasting foodVegetarian options: Tofu and vegetarian dishesParking: Parking behind the building is the best, the main road is always packed.“
“Excellent choices of traditional foods from our local Thai families who cook on the premises. Each table has unique items to sell. Everything is prepared & packed in containers for you. Picnic tables are available to enjoy your foods right there. Highly recommend a visit.Vegetarian options: The papaya salad is my favorite new food. The mango & sticky rice is my choice for something sweet.“
“Sunrise Thai is one of my go-to thai spots when i want a relaxed atmosphere and good curry! I absolutely love their curry dishes, but the noodle dishes are also great. The people who work here are always very friendly and happy to make recommendations.“
“This was my first time trying Thai. A friend of mine suggested it and it turned out to be a wonderful choice. We started with a soup that came with a very interesting prawn cracker that was melt-in-your-mouth good as well as the appetizers of crab wontons and spring rolls. My friend ordered the Pad Thai and, since the menu was new to me, I asked the waitstaff for her recommendation. She selected the Curry Noodle for me. Of course, I had to taste both dishes. Everything was wonderful and I was pleasantly full by the end of the experience. I would recommend anyone who hasn't tried it before to give it a chance. You'll be glad you did.“
“Penn’s Thai Cafe is our favorite. If you want some fancy expensive restaurant, then this is not the place for you. Great food, generous, moderately priced portions, and a nice Mom & Pop feel to the place. The owner is nice and always makes me feel like I’m her favorite customer. “
“This is my new Thai lunch spot!!! I loved the chicken pad Thai I got, mild + and it was sooo good. I was very impressed. The staff was pleasant, the fresh rolls with shrimp I got were amazing and had a delicious peanut sauce. I will definitely be back!“
“Tina, the food is EXTREMELY good! ? The portion sizes fit well with the prices. I have already recommended your restaurant to a couple people. ????♀️?Jahlin and I will for sure to be back there VERY SOON!??You and your daughter are FANTASTIC people. Keep your positive energy and continue to let it flow onto your customers! ??- Patty & Jahlin “
“This is a neighborhood favorite.Very nice people and service. The food is really good. The prices are very reasonable. The portions are generous.Do not be surprised if you walk in and tables are not cleared. When they clear the tables the tables are thoroughly cleaned! And, if you have a favorite table they clear & clean right away! This "hole in the wall" restaurant is a favorite of mine.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy“
“Been coming here for a little over a year, wanted to see how consistent they were, they are super consistent and continuously are .They have super good food for insanely cheap prices. They have vegan Thai food and vegan Vietnamese pho, tons of vegan/vegetarian options including pad Thai, and drunken noodles. Super cheap, I love Thai food, but the quality to price ratio is insane.Vegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian options, if not labeled, ask and they will let you know what they can do (most dishes)Dietary restrictions: Vegan and sesame allergy friendly“
“This is a real gem in Auburn Hills. It's in a strip mall area so it's hard to notice. Had vegetable egg rolls which were excellent. Had grilled beef and also grilled beef vermicelli noodles. Both were good but I liked the beef better. They both came with egg rolls as well and although the looked like the appetizer ones, they were fried in more fish oil so they weren't to my liking as much. Next time I'll see if they can switch them. The chef for the fried rice was out when I went for maternity so wasn't able to try but will next time.“
“Such a difference to what I usually get! Got it 2 times this week alone! The chicken a complete different than any Chinese takeout I have gotten. Great taste, portions. So flavorful! the spice level can differ and oh man, so good! I got seasme chicken (no seeds, no veggie) no spice and automatically comes with the white rice! Also got a side of Chicken fried rice and a drunken noodle(medium spice) 2 almost same photos as I got it 2 times already!“
“The food here is so good my co-workers and I literally count the days when they get back from vacation. From the curry beef noodle "laksa" to the chicken satay to the peanut pancakes, it reminds me of my mom's house in Malaysia. It really is that good. The atmosphere is a bit weird but expected from a hole in the wall spot. For the taste and money, I don't care if they put us in a basement, bring on the food!“
“This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants. This is a family business and Kai is one of the reasons I continue to come back. She knows I continue to order the same thing. Kai asked if I was going to select and new dish for the new year.....ummmm, no! lol Kai had me try the Kow Pad Nam Prik Prow years ago and I've been ordering it ever since. I order it mild since the peanut sauce already gives it a little kick. I make it my own by adding broccoli and chicken. The spring rolls are awesome too. It's always delicious and enough for two people or two meals. You need to give them a try! You won't be disappointed. Note: The dining room has been closed since the pandemic. They are still carry out only. I recommend you call your order in and then it's ready to grab and dash.“
“The best Thai food we’ve had!! And we eat a lot of Thai food. They are so friendly and nice here and always get our order correct. Food is delicious, fast, and reheats well since they give such big portions. This has been our go to place for over 10 years and unfortunately moved further away so can’t have it as often. But will be coming here when we can!!Also brought a bunch of kids here to eat and they were so friendly and accommodating. And when we needed a bunch of napkins to clean up messes they were so nice about it.“
“Authentic and flavorful! The owner is so kind and very hard-working, she always greets me with a smile. We LOVE the Pad Talay and the Pad Ped Pla Duk. The curries are creamy and portions are great and the catfish dish is delicious, the crispy filet and spicy & savory sauce goes very well with the jasmine rice.“
“After 16 plus years they still have the best pho! Everyone is very kind and helpful.Kid-friendliness: My son did not know what spiciness to get and the waitress helped him out. He also did not know what he wanted in his smoothie and she did both the crystal boba and the popping boba for him. Just great customer service everytime.“
“Every time I am in Warren I make sure to stop into Siam Cuisine and get some pad thai. Lots of different heats to choose from I usually get the medium with chicken. If your new to warren or just passing through stop and get you a bite you'll love it!“
“I found this restaurant by chance. I placed an online order with this restaurant, Thai Taste To Go, thinking I was ordering at the Thai restaurant we normally order from. Turned out to be a wonderful mistake. We order from here now almost weekly. Food is delicious and generous portions. My wife has celiac and they prepare gluten free, no cross contamination. Highly suggest fried rice, basil fried rice and red coconut curry.“
“Always fresh, quick, and tasty. No "dine in" service any longer (since Covid). You may optionally eat your takeout at a table (unattended) if needed, and they struggled to get menus printed for over a year. But none of these nuances is remarkable for this type of restaurant. Their curries, soups, and Pad Thai are very remarkable, and I am very grateful it is in my neighborhood.“
“Food was great! And the waitress was very very, GOOD we plan on coming back! We have now been back several times. & enjoyed it each and every time& Look forward to our next visit. Special shout out to the WAIT staff., THEIR PLEASANT & WELCOMING DISPOSITION HELP MAKE THE TOTAL EXPERIENCE SO VERY PLEASANT. DN“
“I have been going here since I was in high school. I joined the air force and after 3 years I came back and they still remembered me. I was so busy talking to them when I left that I forgot my credit card. A year later I came back and they still had my credit card and remembered to give it back to me.10/10 the best restaurant in all of metro detroit. When I come back home it is a must stop ❤️Also get the Tom Yum Gai soup, Chicken Pad Thai and the Egg Rolls ❤️“
“I came here for the second time to try the pad pak with shrimp, drunken noodle with shrimp and the khao pad with shrimp since the first time I came here and tried the shrimp rolls was really good. The food was hot, seasoned and worth every dollar!!! I would recommend. And the service was EXCELLENT!!!!!???“
“The food is supreme here compared to other Thai restaurants. I try to dine here often. Staff is friendly and The decor is much nicer than many mall restaurants. Pad Thai is very good and better than most others. I love a Yellow curry dish with chicken which comes in a large white bowl and rice on the side. I do request the addition of. sliced red sweet pepper.“
“What I like about Tokyo sushi is it's a fuss-free unpretentious experience. You can go have reasonably priced sushi that will not shock you. The ramen, however leaves a lot to be desired. But if you have no expectations and want an affordable place to have lunch, it works.“
“A new - to me - Thai restaurant. It's almost noon, let's go.The building is unusual, multiple businesses with a central hall accessible from the east or west end. A small version of a mall.Six booths and two tables welcome you.Menus are under the glass top of the tables, I like that, efficient & hygienic.Decided on Massaman shrimp curry. Comes with a cup of hot and sour soup. Great starter for a February lunch.I tried joking with the person who brought my food (as I usually do) but she was not a receptive audience. The food was delicious, and a good quantity, as well. Lunch portions are between $10 & $11.00, dinners run $13 - 14.00.The vibe was a little more sterile than I prefer but it wouldn't slow me down in return thoughts at all.Vegetarian options: Typical of Asian cuisine, most entrees can be ordered vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Ingredients are in the descriptionParking: About 15 spaces on the east side alone.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room to navigate and park at tables/booths.“
“First time trying this place and I'm happy with my decision. The Gang Gai had a little kick for it being mild. There was a good amount of vegetables and beef. It came with a side of white rice which helped soak up the delicious curry sauce. The Kow Pad and Pad See Ew both had really good classic savory flavors. The portions were big too!“
“Been going here for 18 years. Best food and service. Although they shut down the inside and it's just takeout, the atmosphere was nice and cozy before covid. Me and my family love coming here. We can't find other places to top this one. Highly recommend.“
“Wow, I have been missing out! My favorite Thai food. Food was delicious, service was exceptional. Very neat, clean and wide open dining room. Large portions. The owner so friendly. I’m Thai and recommended this place. It’s authentic Thai taste.“
“This is my go to lunch spot! I eat here about 3-4 times a week for lunch as I work nearby & have never been disappointed, highly recommend this for authentic Thai food! Be careful with the spice level as they use real chili peppers in their spices! My favorite option is the build your own lunch/dinner specials with a pork spring roll!“
“Ordered on Uber eats. Excellent. Great portions. I ordered the drunken noodle and the red curry. The drunken noodle tasted more like beef chow fun. We also love that dish so that was okay with us. Ordered medium spice and it packed a punch for sure. I almost didn't order bc of the score on yelp. I think this place deserves 4 stars!“
“Wonderful service. Wonderful food. Their tofu is the best around and their spice level is perfect (it's actually spicy!)It is cash only but there's ATMs everywhere these days... Including across the street. This is my favorite Thai food and they always treat me like a friend!“
“I’ve been going to Sala Thai since the original location in 1994 in Detroit. Sala Thai is a family owned business running three locations at one time. It was the best Thai food and still remains the best Thai food that I have ever had. It’s flavorful and good heat levels. When I worked in the area by the one on 14 mile I would crave it and eat there once a week.“
“I am a huge Thai food fan but have been struggling to find a good Thai place since Covid. I honestly had given up PLUS I’m super picky about my Thai food.I’ve passed by this place so often and for some reason I was thinking it would be watered down American Thai.Maybe because it’s in a nice strip mall off Woodward, near Square Lake.Boy, I was soooo wrong. The food was amazing. Very very flavorful. High quality. I had lunch with a friend who’s been to Thailand (more than once) and she was also very please with the food.I even had lentils in my dish, something I’ve never seen or tried before but again, so, so, so good.I watched, and they do a lot of carryout, which tells me everyone else already knew how good the food was, I guess I’m just late to the Thai food party. They have an assortment of organic teas which was a nice touch AND it’s very clean inside, which is a major ‘+’ for me.Pete, the owner, was there when we were there. Very personable man. He even came over to see how we liked our food once he learned it was our first time there. All in all, I feel like I can breathe a sign of relief and happiness, that I’ve found high quality, flavorful, Thai food.My new ‘go-to’ ?“
“My boyfriend and I have been coming here for about 2 years now and absolutely love it. The food tastes fresh compared to other places we've tried. The staff is always so friendly & kind. Kind people, great food, couldn't ask for anything else!! We will continue to choose Far East & you should too!!“
