“In our house we are pizza snobs. We try lots of pizza places. We ordered here for the first time today and WOW! it was one of the best pizzas I’ve had. While waiting for our order we were looking at the menu on the wall and we now have a list of things we have to try! We will definitely be back again and again. Fall-inspired cocktails, bone marrow on pumpernickel toast with greens, grilled pork chop with apple slaw, honeynut squash fettuccine with pickled mushrooms, brussels sprouts with pancetta & blue cheese, and my favorite - mushroom risotto. I loved the variety of layers in each dish. You can combine different components within each dish and get a new delicious bite. Friendly and knowledgeable server (Crystal), beautiful restaurant and grounds. I highly recommend and look forward to returning.“

“I like many of you, like using the review score when making purchase decisions. I never just look at the score. I look for the number of reviews and I try to find helpful reviews to give me more incite into what I may be getting into. My wife works in a business where the reviews really matter for bringing in new customers. She often talks about the long-time customers who keep returning but have never left a review. Those are really the voices that should matter more to people who want an honest review of the company they are looking into. Unfortunately, even though I like looking at reviews, I seldom leave one unless I'm very satisfied with the company or really disappointed. In both cases, I leave my emotions aside and tell things as I experience them. This means that if everything wasn't perfect, I don't ding them for minor stuff. I give people the benefit of the doubt because we all have those days when we aren't at our best. When I read bad reviews about restaurants that I frequent often, I wonder about the person leaving the review. I feel that they are either competitors with malicious intent, someone who didn't try to listen to resolve whatever issues they perceived to be happening, or simply someone who's looking for a reason and is too hard to please in the first place. So with all that out of the way, let me get to the Lim's Star review. I love Chinese food and it's one of the first things I looked for locally when I bought my house 10 years ago. There are several in what I would consider my drivable area. Lim's Star is in my top 5 or higher depending on what dish I'm looking for. 10 years means I've been coming there since before the current owner. Do I miss the dinner rolls? Not really, since I get better quality food and personalization of meals on request. The new owner knows us on sight and remembers what we like to order. He even allows us to modify the ingredients to our liking. He is very friendly and will engage in small talk to get to know his customers better. We eat at or buy takeout from Lim's Star at least once a month, sometimes more. Has everything always been perfect? No, but I really can't recall the last time I was dissatisfied with my order or service. Based on my long review, I'm hoping you can tell I have had many enjoyable meals from and experiences with Lim's Star. Seriously! If you are on the fence or willing to try something new in your area, start with a dish you know to compare. I doubt you will be disappointed in your comparison. Mark J.“

“I rarely write reviews but I want this restaurant to never go away. Go there, spend your money, you won't be upset. Comfortable restaurant, fantastic staff, and amazing food! We ordered appetizers, lunch, and take out for dinner. We got the Reuben Spring Rolls, Pretzel Sticks, Monte Cristo and the Bourbon Burger with Sweet Potato Fries, all delicious! The Mushroom Soup and Beef Stew are the best I've ever had!“

“Our family , 3 adults, one toddler and one 4 month old, had a delicious and delightful meal on Saturday evening , Even though we arrived 10 minutes to 9 pm( kitchen closes at 9), we were graciously seated by the hostess. The server came over immediately and brought us 2 highchairs. We started our feast with ɓreadsticks and didn't have to wait long for our meals. Went to stingers for a drink since it’s been a while since we’ve been here. I sat down and I had my beer right in front of me before I even ordered! The girls working are always so friendly and enjoy our time there!!

Needed a new place to hang out and we decided to try this place out. It looked a little intimidating but It certainly didn’t disappoint, a girl in a biker bar it was amazing! The girls were so nice and welcoming! Will definitely coming back here for some drinks and foods!!“

“Let's talk about coffee. I'm a person that only drinks one dark roast coffee in the morning. I also only drink one large mug in my stainless steel Yeti with the vacuum seal and I want it to be a good tasting one or I don't want any at all. I'm that kind of person. So on a Sunday when we escaped the house and I never got my usual cuppa and we went to Red Olive for breakfast I was craving a cup of coffee. I almost never order coffee out unless it's a coffee cafe and then not often because I think it's crazy expensive. Ok. Please don't judge me. It's just my thing. But on this Sunday our darling waitress said: "Trust me. Our coffee is good. It is a Red Olive blend...not just a run of the mill type." She was right. It WAS good. Not the same as my homemade coffee but I'm telling you I had 3 cups. The cups are small and they re-fill often so it stays hot. I ordered a spinach feta omelet and they almost always taste the same everywhere and I like that taste so when we are making a breakfast decision I'll definitely suggest Red Olive because they have better coffee than other breakfast places we've gone to. Small pleasures in life make a difference.“

If you don't like red meat, I think the ``Slow Roasted Prime Rib'' is extremely delicious as it is tender, has a concentrated lean flavor, and has just the right amount of fat. Personally, I like it when I choose a baked potato as an accompaniment because it neutralizes the meatiness.“

“Went shopping at Twelve Oaks Mall and stubbled upon this great bistro on the second floor of Nordstrom’s. I ordered the French dip sandwich with fries and lemonade, it was exceptional. “Come prepared to make decisions; it’s a good thing. Lucy and the wolf welcomes its guests with a generous drink menu and ample wine list. The old fashioned drinks sell out so give the rest a look in case, you won’t be disappointed. They have full sized protein focused plates that are the best in the town and possibly the county. However, the strength here for me are the flavor combinations in the dishes such as harissa roasted new potatoes and the charm of the charred corn ribs. The burrata starter had endless possibilities as every ingretient was such high quality and worked together so well there is no wrong combination for the platter. Get two plates each, it’s a good choice.“

“I visited No. Six Prime to celebrate a birthday. The food was good and the atmosphere was very nice. The server was okay-but what I did not like was that he charged me for a dessert that I did not request.

At the top of the evening, he inquired about the occasion for our visit. I told him we were there for a birthday. He politely said happy birthday and eventually took our orders. He served our appetizer, drinks, and food shortly thereafter. We ate and when he cleared our table, he brought a cheesecake. The birthday girl doesn't like cheesecake. But since he brought it, and because we thought it was complimentary, she decided to try it anyway. I happen to like cheesecake, so it wasn't going to go to waste. However, my bill showed a $15 dessert that I had NEVER asked for in the first place. I didn't make a fuss over it once I saw the bill, but while the food (and dessert) was pretty good overall-that misstep by the server left a bad taste in my mouth.“

“Always an easy late stop for an end cap or a quick beer, plenty of bar space and area to sit with someone or a small party. I would call ahead incase for large parties but I am sure they can accommodate generally. Cute staff but make sure to grab someone while you have their attention. They can get busy at times but good service.“
