“The jalapeño popper pizza is literally the only thing I come here for it is the best pizza around. I order so many of them. I was so disappointed to come in tonight with my friends and realize it was not on the menu. Please put it back on the menu. Your service staff is amazing. I love the space and the atmosphere, but I have no reason to come back if you don’t have my pizza. I might come see the staff, but I probably wouldn’t order anything. I’m only giving you a five star because they are making my pizza for me anyway. I’ve had great experiences here. Ps I did not throw a temper tantrum to get my pizza. I’m not a Karen. I just asked and they said yes. Shout out to Phil and Chris.

Edit: they tried to make my pizza, but you no longer have the cream cheese or the berry sauce so there’s no point. I understand it’s probably anexpensive pizza to make. I would gladly pay more for it. I hope you take this review seriously as it makes me legitimately sad.“

“The food was delicious and everything we ordered tasted amazing! Our server was amazing but I wasn't too fond of the manager walking around yelling at all his employees who were busting their butts trying to provide the best service to the customers. I've worked in restaurants for about 10 years now and I know things can get frustrating during dinner rushes. But being the owner of the restaurant and treating your employees so poorly while you have customers trying to eat isn't ideal. I watched this guy yell at all his cooks and servers. Also was rude to a server about a chair when they didn't know said chair wasn't allowed in the outside seating area. I really hope this manager takes the extra steps to pull people aside and be discreet when addressing something instead of causing a scene like we saw tonight. Other then that, we enjoyed this restaurant and the food!“

“The People’s Kitchen is my favorite restaurant in Lansing. The chef is phenomenal! There is a variety of delicious entrees for everyone.“

“My husband and I stopped by Mark's Place for their wraps. I had the BBQ Chicken and my husband had the Mexi. The sandwiches were really good and were delicious. Definitely worth the price.“

“Diana was our wine tasting specialist and she was so friendly and helpful. I was catching up with a friend I hadn't seen in years and she was so cognizant to stay attentive but not interrupt. We giggled and laughed with her until we got our table. Then the food....chef's kiss. The Brussel sprout appetizer was so scrumptious and my pork chops were top notch. Would definitely recommend for someone looking for a nice place to go.“

All staff I encountered and the owner were super nice, there was a nice selection of hot food and snacks, the prices were reasonable, and the portions were generous. I will definitely be back again. Hopefully, I can leave early enough to stop in for breakfast before work one of these days!“

“I held a baby shower a few years ago there, in the ice cream parlor. The society staffed the parlor with a worker who worked the ice cream counter. I picked up the ice cream tab at the end. Our guests thought it was really cool and unique way to celebrate our little one's arrival .... and the ice cream was yummy!!!“
