“I don't come here often because its a ways away from where we live. That being said, I do get a chance to come here when I am in this part of town, and I have to say I really like this place. The sweet and sour soup as well as the eggdrop soup are both delicious. I typically get the chicken with vegetables and my wife gets the pork fried rice. Both dishes are very good and the portions are large. I am always very satisfied with my food. Highly recommended!“

“They are a little bit expensive I will say but you do get a lot of food for the price you pay, also the food is enough for two people and even have some left overs. First time trying them out and definitely was not disappointed at all. Very friendly, customer service was great and the lady who took our order was really sweet. Didn't take long at all for us to get our food, there are fast and prompt. Everything we ordered was all correct didn't have any issues. We will definitely be back again to try out some other menu items..Thanks again“

As a food enjoyer and having travelled to Asia for work previously, this place is as close as I’ve found in west Michigan to the great, complex flavors of Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taiwan, etc. Get in here and give it a try. “I decided to order food here because I saw that their lunch menu was very affordable and I’m a broke college student working downtown for the summer. I got the beef and broccoli order with the side of chicken fried rice- I just took my first bite and it’s wonderful! The flavor is awesome in the rice, beef and vegetables and my order came with an AWESOME amount of food as well! It was ready for me to pick up only 15 minutes after I called to order.

Look at the picture I’ve provided, I got all of this for a little less than $12! I will absolutely be coming again and getting my lunches from the Hong Kong Express! :)“

“This is our go-to Chinese food place! Quality is consistent and portions are great- we always have leftovers for at least one more meal or a couple lunches. My husband likes the General Tso chicken and pork fried rice. I choose something different each time, but the Szechuan tofu is delicious and the vegetable eggs rolls are amazing. I’ve also had the curry chicken and the Hunan chicken, which are tasty as well.“

My friend and their mom recommended this spot for me try and I have to say I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else but here. But I've ordered Chinese food from restaurants that cost twice as much, and tasted the same or worse. I was bummed that China Garden didn't have teriyaki chicken. But their BBQ chicken (I just like saying "chicken on a stick") is so crispy in a good way, that I want all my "chicken on a stick" to be like theirs! Also, they were open in a massive, everyone shut down everything, snow storm. So, I'll drive out of my way to go here.“

“I highly recommend trying their food there. I am a visitor to Grand Rapids and I ate there for two consecutive days and bring food back to Chicago. The BBQ pork is still crispy when I get home!!! The food quality beats some of the best iconic Chinese restaurants I tried in hk, China, Vancouver, Chicago, Calgary. That's how good this place offer! I was surprised and I feel so grateful that God has brought me to this restaurant accidentally and found this amazing gem 💎. They Did Not charge me tips automatically. I saw some reviews complaining about their service and charged tips to their bill. That's Not True. If you can do math and if you have checked price on menu, you will find they did NOT charge tips to your bill. Although on somewhere in the dim sum ordering card I don't understand why there's a sentence talking about that. This place Worth many sharp 5.0 reviews!!“
