The lamb shawarma was one of the best I have had out side east Desrborn, I can say that because I lived in that area for over 30 years . Clean , fast friendly . Staff , Top Shelf. “Visited twice, once months ago and once today. Wow! What a great sub! Yeah I am not fond of a sub costing $15 like the giant italian does but wow is it worth it! I mean the staff politeness was awesome (including in store safety virus protocols)! Then the sub was over the top again. Freshest bread anywhere, perfect red tomatoes, crisp lettuce, fresh sliced meat, spices...just delicious! Again, the staff here was great! I wish I knew the name of the African American gentleman that greeted me and I think was in charge. I witnessed his door greetings to other customers and he really has that "personal touch" with people. I think I need to eat here at least 1-2 times a week for now on. My wife already told me we need to focus on them vrs the other alternative sub restaurants. I think she is right!“

“This quaint little diner brings me back to the 80’s and 90’s every time I go there. The staff is attentive and pleasant, and the food is always satisfying. I love to get the Eggs Benedict with ham and home fries. Chef’s kiss, it’s amazing!!! The only drawback is that they only accept cash, which isn’t a deal breaker as long as you plan ahead. And it can get very busy, but it’s totally worth it.“

“For many years this was a go to store for us when heading home from the skate park. Staff always nice, food always good.

“The only reason this is five stars is to not negatively affect the employees.

You guys have one person always working. What happens if they can not use the restroom?? What happens if someone comes in and threatens the employee? Where is the manager? Why can the manager not staff this location properly? That is their job. Why is the manager not working and covering shifts? I am very disappointed in whoever manages this location. The employee working does a wonderful job and deserves the help to be fully staffed and a functional location.“

“I haven't been to this place in years because I went vegetarian but I randomly got the taste for the Tubby's dressing today (it is a delicious dressing) and chose to give the hot stir fried veggie sub a try. I am both delighted and upset by how much I enjoyed it. xD It reminded me of when I used to get the mushroom, steak, and cheese sub (which I would recommend to the meat eaters). The people working there were also super nice! I will be wanting to return here soon!

Vegetarian options: Under speciality subs they have the veggie sub with mushrooms. I just ordered it (minus green peppers and tomatoes because I can't eat those) and it was delicious ?“

“I love their cold cut combo sub, they have the best tasting soda pop, what I don't like is they don't carry mozzarella cheese or Italian dressing, I have to go home and put on Italian dressing and eat my sub at home to get Italian dressing, they do have inside dining, if I want to eat inside and get a different dressing I like, I have to pay $1 extra for cheese dressing, they shouldn't charge extra for cheese salad dressing, plus they raised the price of subs an extra $1 in February“

“The team here is always upbeat and the restaurant and bathroom is always clean and well stocked. The sub items (bread, meats, veggies, condiments) are always fresh and delicious and the pickles are always crunchy, crisp and cold! This is one of my FAV locations and I visit at least twice a month!“
