It was cool to see bread being rolled and hand made thru the window, it is clear that bread is being made fresh and daily and this bakery has that artisan feel to it. There is a great variety of breads, pastries, cookies, and drinks that this location offers. I tried a carrot cake croissant and it was unique and very tasty! However, there is little to no filling. What did I pay for? The custard bun is almost nonexistent. You can see a very light layer and almost hollow inside. The Danish bun top layer on the outside was flaky and flavorful but the custard inside of this one was not for me.I would say that the the egg tarts are pretty good, as well as the fried savory dumpling 咸水角 like pastry.“

I got the lemon bar, the chocolate chip cookie, a breakfast sandwich and a kale salad with chicken. The lemon bar was so delicious, with a perfect crust, and creamy inside, I ate the whole thing while waiting for my sandwich. The cookie was great as well. The sandwich which they told me was put on bread they bake in house was absolutely delicious. Great crunch, eggs and the other ingredients inside tasted so yummy. The salad tastes fresh and not soggy. The chicken is served cold, but still really good with no weird after taste. Everything was a 10/10 I totally recommend this spot if you’re downtown. Everyone in the shop was joking around, and the women working behind the counter were taking orders and boxing up paczkis with factory like efficiency. We ended up ordering a box of 6 raspberry paczskis, and I promptly ate one as soon as we were out of the bakery. Then I understood why the bakery was so full. I'm not sure why we don't have paczskis in California, but I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Michigan to try the myriad other flavors they had in the shop!“
