“This is my go-to place for fried fish and chicken. The fried green beans and fried corn on the cob are also delicious. I turned a couple of my friends on to this place as well, including a friend visiting from Georgia. She liked the food so much, she took pictures and posted them on social media. I also appreciate the good service provided by the young ladies who take the orders. Manhattan will continue to get my business as long as they continue or increase the level of service they currently provide.“

“We came here for our anniversary and had a good experience. I loved the staycation cocktail, the calamari and the the sea scallops were the best I’ve ever had. Sadly the lamb appetizer was over cooked and the prime rib was chewy. Not great. It was also served with burnt hummus. Our waitress was good to me but seemed irritated with us that the steak wasn’t great. We won’t be rushing back any time soon. But we love Detroit and trying new restaurants.“

“Outstanding food, great service, extremely cozy (maybe 2 dozen seats?). Started with a variety of oysters (the housemade kimchi was excellent), followed by tinned tuna belly with their housemade briny jardiniere, ending with maybe the best lobster roll I've ever had (no mayo, some chili oil heat) and perfectly prepared broccolini. The broccolini was actually on the tasting menu but they were generous enough to make it as a standalone side for us because we wanted to experience enough other things. Can't say enough good things about our dinner. Cocktails and dessert were really good too, though the dinner was on a level above.“

“My husband and I took my mom for her birthday dinner, and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is upscale and yet relaxing. Gavin was our server, and he made great recommendations and was very knowledgeable about the wine list. We had a fun chat about the Culinary Institute of America. And he shared his love of food and wine. The menu is extensive, and all of the food was heavenly. We had the most delicious steaks (cooked to perfection), crab, fresh vegetables with creamy rich sauces, mushrooms were fabulous, and the risotto was perfection! We had strawberries flambé, lemon tart, and crème brûlée. They were all perfectly balanced with rich and bold flavors. The meal was perfectly paced, and Gavin made our evening very special. “This place does not disappoint The chicken breasts and wings are good size and not skimpy pieces. Broasted potatoes are not flat cut but have ridges or waves. Coleslaw is very good too. Definitely repeat takeout customers. Keep up the great job.“

Comes with the main and rice/fries and soup/salad. Service was very good, the cashier was very nice and friendly although she was very busy packing orders and taking calls.“

“Haven’t been here in a few years due to never being in the area but was in the area last Saturday so made reservations for dinner beforehand. We intended to just ask one of the servers if he could alert our server we were ready to order but he ended up taking our order for us rather then having us wait and he was very helpful with the menu and very informative. We also met I believe the supervisor or manager after he came to our table and he too was very personable and kind. My husband and I really enjoyed the food and the vibe of the restaurant itself was lively and welcoming. Great drinks! Will definitely be back for the salsa night as we had to leave to go to a concert this time!“

“This place has a "wow" factor for it food. They're menu lists a lot of made-from-scratch dishes. They claim their Mac and Cheese is the best around. Ha! I was skeptical at best, but they are having a special where if you order two entries for a total of twenty bucks, you get a crock free. So, what the heck! Oh. My. Gosh. They are RIGHT!!! We've had a lot of M&C and this, by far was the best!! They use heavy cream plus different cheeses and the result is *Heaven in a Crock." I'm not kidding. We made a reservation for Saturday evening, place was not packed we were seated in the downstairs area by the bar clean neat decor with NOLA vibes. Our server was great she recommended the oysters based on your preference and suggested the beef tartar as an appetizer. For main dish we opted for shrimp risotto and chefs special that evening was sea-bass with crusted vegetables. Outstanding fish was buttery and flaky and risotto had ton of flavor. “Nicks country oven is the best restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. I stopped in for my lunch break and ordered the gyro omelette with freshly cut potatoes, white toast and coffee. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. The staff is absolutely friendly and always have the biggest smiles on their faces. I felt so welcomed. I’m happy I found this restaurant and will be making this my regular spot for the days I forget my lunch for work. (Hopefully I forget my lunch more often). “I 1st thought the food was horrible. However, I ordered it from door dash and took roughly 1.5 hrs. So the food was cold and saturated in too much garlic butter. I give everything 2 tries. I ordered take out, I live less than a mile away, the food was nice and hot! Wasn't drowned in butter. The shrimp are deep fried enough to eat the tail. Prices are great for shell fish. “We have been searching for a new Chinese restaurant for several years until Ming’s came highly recommended. We love authentic Chinese food and it is fantastic each time we visit. Every dish has its own flavour and perfectly presented. The greatest thing is that the owner and all staff are so wonderful. The restaurant is frequented by many Chinese people which I think is a great sign. We love to look at the dishes that they order and then the wonderful waitstaff make suggestions based there off. “The Polish Yacht Club's Walleye and Perch are some of the best in all of Detroit (only Andrew's competes and it's a bit more expensive). It's a large portion that's cooked perfectly and tastes incredibly fresh (a rarity around here, but I won't name names). It's fried, but not greasy at all, and it's flaky because it's fresh (no squishy fish here, thank God) Every dinner is served with pickles, coleslaw, French fries and soup so the value is ridiculous. They also don't lack condiments (malt vinegar included) which I appreciate. The inside of the Yacht Club genuinely looks like the Cigar Lounge of a Country Club. I love it. Small, casual with old school elegance. And the service gives off that same vibe. It's like you're in a cigar lounge only with no smoking and excellent food.
