“One of the best sandwiches you'll find in the city. Meat that isn't sliced until it goes on your sandwich, fine chopped pickles and black olives, and the Herb De Provence Mayo all take your sammy to the next level. Rogue Style is awesome, but the bread is sooo tasty, feel free to get it untoasted too. They also have some delicious rotating soups that you can combo with your sub. Oh...and if you need a bucket....some locations let you buy them for a dollar! Don't walk....run and get you some!“

“We tried this place randomly and we’re SO HAPPY we did—the food is amazing: fresh and flavorful!
Our family got 2 soups (spring for extra bread-it’s soft inside/crispy outside and perfect for getting all the rich and savory broth!), 2 sandwiches, spring rolls and summer rolls. Next time we order, I’m getting the pork lemongrass sandwich or the bun bo hue (THAT BROTH! 😍). The spring rolls were fine-nothing special-but the veggie summer rolls with sauce were so fresh and delicious.
The store (GR) seemed understaffed this Sunday afternoon, so the food took longer than expected, but the workers were doing their best and even double checked our order to make sure they hadn’t missed anything. A+ customer service and A+ food is worth waiting for! We’ll definitely be back!

“My husband and I have lived in this area for approximately three years. There was a period about two years ago, that we stopped coming to this location due to the food not being fresh, the employees were very rude, the restaurant was never clean!! I think it was about a year and a half ago we decided to give it another chance because we had heard it was under new management , we are so thankful that we did! This place has completely turned around! The food is always fresh, the new manager is an older lady, and you can tell that she is passionate about the store! This store is honestly the cleanest I have ever seen a subway, the food is always fresh and delicious, and the 1st shift staff are just wonderful now! Hats off to whoever decided to hire her! “Boardwalk has been my go to sub spot for over a decade. Unfortunately I moved to a different state now, but anytime I'm in Grand Rapids I find my way here.
Their menu is great, but one of my favorite things to do is just walk in and have whoever is helping me create their favorite or experiment. This particular evening Kayla and Grace did not disappoint and gave me a great take on their turkey & prostini.

First and foremost. This place is better than the Penera across the street. I'll die on that hill.

Secondly their food is amazing for sit down. And am yet to complain when I dine in. Truely 5 star experience if I say so myself for a deli shop.

Third... the drive through needs work or a new order of operations to keep food FRESH throughout the process.. what do I mean by this? I have only had issues when going through the drive through. Soggy toast. Messy sandwiches falling apart. And the most recent one of French dip sauce being half put on and thrown into a to-go bag just to have it spill over my fiancé's WHITE gaming chair apon opening. I wish I had took pictures but im telling it for what it is.

Final thoughts:
Overall ill settle for 4 stars but cannot give 5 until they fix the drive through situation. Not quite sure if there is a process that can be adjusted to ensure toast doesn't get soggy, loose items won't spill or leak, and food doesn't feel like its been sitting for 30min wrapped heavily in wrapper for steam to soggy it all up. I know a deli has a lot to keep up with. For them to have a drive through is great! Perfect for people on the go quickly. But all i have to say is I'd rather sit down when I can- every time.

The customer service while dining in is unprecedented with any other location I can think of. Everyone is so nice and very quick to help anyway possible to ensure your experience is up to their standards. The staff are doing very well. Especially the lunch crew as of this date. The evening crew seems to lack a little bit of coordination from what I can see by prospecting. But none the less the service was the same.

The atmosphere inside is somewhat homely. What i mean by this is- as a 2000s kid growing up and listening to the radio with my dad was a big part and their music selection and over all inside vibe is great, relaxing, and perfect to unwind with the family and enjoy some fresh deli products.

“I stopped by Subway today for lunch, and I was genuinely impressed! The restaurant was spotless, and the staff greeted me with smiles the moment I walked in. My sandwich artist took the time to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it — fresh veggies, perfectly toasted bread, and the right amount of sauce.

You could tell all the ingredients were fresh; the tomatoes were crisp, the lettuce was bright, and the bread smelled amazing. I tried the Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki on Italian Herb & Cheese, and it was absolutely delicious — warm, flavorful, and satisfying.

The service was quick even during the lunch rush, and the employees seemed to take real pride in their work. The dining area was clean and comfortable, with a welcoming atmosphere that made me want to stay a little longer.

“I have to be honest, our crew is a big one. I didn’t have high expectations that they were gonna be able to serve all 20 of us in a reasonable time. But we put a lot of the orders in online ahead and Reesha had many of it done when we arrived, and for those that still need to order, she managed the entire store all by herself. “Freaky fast delivery on a new level certainly consider this if your in a hurry! They had my food waiting and ready within a few minutes of putting in my order. Also tried there delivery service and they are again freaky fast. They are about 15 minutes out from my location but had gotten here within 20 minutes after I placed my order. “Is always a go to spot if I want some subway, its close to center of a lot of spots and houses, so easy to grab on the way. I usually do order to go, so I don't eat in a lot. But they make quality subs, and are most of the time pretty fast with them.

Also use subway coupon codes to save money or get extra, there is usually a couple active per month“
