“I ordered take out over the phone, and it was easy.
I ordered:
1 green river roll
1 salmon avocado roll
1 spicy tuna roll

The sushi wasn't amazing, but it was decent. The green river was my favorite. I liked the crunch of the shrimp tempura and seaweed salad. The eel sauce was tasty and balanced the flavors too.

The spicy tuna was ok. The spicy mayo had a good kick to it, which was great! It was a little bit on the dry side though, so maybe it could've used a touch more spicy mayo in the mixture. As for the salmon avocado, it was good.

I love when chefs use minimal rice when making sushi, because it makes it easier to taste all the other ingredients. New Fresh Wok sushi chefs did just that.

Overall, I liked the sushi and would order it from here again. I am also excited to try the other Chinese dishes!“

“We almost didn’t go because it was difficult to find parking, but it was definitely worth the walk! We were sat immediately and greeted with very kind service. We ordered boneless chicken wings with spicy Korean sauce, and we each ordered a spicy rice noodle bowl. Our server told us what to add right away and how to enjoy the bowl. Everything was delicious. We tried the sliced beef and brisket and both were great. Definitely a great Minneapolis spot for a warm lunch on a cold day! ?❄️?

Parking: We went on Saturday and got lucky with parking, but be prepared to walk a bit. Construction makes it harder to navigate.“

“My husband and I were in the area so we decided to stop in. We were on a time crunch so we ordered some easy stuff such as finger foods and fried rice. I was in the mood for something beefy but wasn't really in the mood for pho or anything soupy so I ordered the beef bulgogi instead. The food took a while to be served but the server was pretty cool so we didn't mind. When we got our food, the finger food was pretty good. The spicy fried chicken we ordered was good. The fried rice was bland. The bulgogi, however was disappointing. Instead of using a type of meat with some marble in it, they used the eye round, the leanest part of the cow, and grilled it up. I get it. It's already sliced thinly for pho but the eye round pieces that was used was pretty thick. The whole thing was dry and chewy. There was barely any sauce glazed over the meat. Please don't be cheap. If you're going to put a certain dish on your menu, serve it properly with the correct type of meat. If you don't want to use a more expensive cut such as ribeye, which is the correct section of beef to use, then go with the chuck meat. We hear good things about the sushi so maybe next time we'll stop in for that.“

“Service is fast, quiet, professional, courteous. Food is very good. Portions are generous for the cost. I was skeptical about paying almost $30 for an entree and upgraded rice (you can change the plain rice to fried rice for a reasonable fee) and an appetizer. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food I got. I can share one order with two or three friends we all get enough. (It also reheats well in a low temp skillet).
I always take it home or have it delivered, but they do have a few tables available if y'all want to eat there. It's clean and simply decorated.
Ample parking, easy to get to.

Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot could be tough on a wheelchair. I did not notice if there was a ramp onto the sidewalk. I assume so, but I don't recall.“

Parking: Absolutely fantastic parking experience! From the moment I pulled up, I knew this restaurant valued convenience. The lot was spacious, well-lit, and organized, making it a breeze to find a spot. No tight squeezes or hunting for a space here—there were plenty of open spots right near the entrance. The pavement was smooth, with clear signage directing me exactly where I needed to go. I loved how close the parking was to the restaurant; it made everything so accessible. Best of all, it felt safe and secure, with plenty of lighting even as it got later. Honestly, one of the best parking setups I’ve ever encountered at a restaurant—truly elevating the entire dining experience!“

“Had an absolutely delicious dinner on Christmas day. The menu was huge, and every dish we tried was wonderful. The dumplings are so tasty. We were really pleased with the orange beef too. The wait staff was great - attentive but not intrusive. We were very lucky to have the private dining room. So glad they were open for the holiday!!“

“First time eating here. My wife and I were happy we chose this place out of a whim. The atmosphere is really chill and laid back. The service was friendly and quick. I’m almost certain that we had received our food maybe 10 mins after ordering. The Szechuan Wontons and Cream Cheese Wontons were both very delicious. Our entrees were fantastic! We’re definitely coming back when we make our way up to Minneapolis.“

“Quiksub still has all of our Wong’s Kitchen favorites! The workers are SO kind and the food is SO good! Fast and friendly every time. They even remember regular customers’ orders. Highly recommend calling ahead as they’ll have food ready within 30 minutes. No space to sit inside but perfect to bring home. There is a 3% credit card fee or they accept cash, Zelle, and Venmo. Love it!“

“I live in Wisconsin, but I'm from Minnesota originally. This place is the hidden gem. Literally the best Chinese food I've ever had in my life. The chicken is high quality. And the Fried Rice is to die for. I'm telling you 10 out of 10.“

“I saw a woman the other day eating these beautiful looking egg rolls in Mears Park so I asked her where she got them and here I am eating them now. Actually I had the egg roll rice vermicelli salad. All I can say is they were worth the trek of several blocks and the prices are insanely inexpensive compared to other Asian restaurants. “This is the gold standard of Chinese food for me. I used to order from here all the time 10+ years ago in high school and loved it. I have since become a professional cook and so have tried tons of Chinese places around town looking for the best one, recently drove past this place and decided to order from here again and holy cow 10 years later it’s still the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. The cream cheese wontons aren’t all breading, they’re delicious and crispy. The orange chicken is unparalleled I didn’t know how much I missed it. I’ve never had orange chicken that even holds a candle to this one. I’m newly enjoying the chow fun as well! This family can COOOOOK. The food is so well seasoned, it always comes super hot and is insanely cheap for the quality. I’m so sorry I ever ordered from anywhere else, it was you all along Xin Wong.“

My mom had to work nights a lot, and there was many many a night that we got takeout dinner from here! Years later as an adult I got my first apartment about half a mile from here and this was my number one craving during my first pregnancy. 10 more years later, I came back as a visiting professor at Metropolitan State University after moving to New England for school and I was thrilled to find Leo's was still standing. “This place was such a great surprise considering its location. It's on Lake Street and I normally wouldn't be found anywhere near this location. It's not the best part of town. But this place blew me away. It was clean friendly and the food was actually really good not to mention a really fair price. Would recommend the eggrolls so flavor the pork and broccoli the fried dumplings with dipping sauce. I was also surprised at the seafood options like huge easy peel shrimp again great value. You might not want to stay in this part of town long but if your hungry I definitely recommend this place

“I absolutely LOVED my AYCE Hot Pot experience here!!! It was quiet given I went 2:30pm on a Sunday, but they had all of my favorite ingredients stocked, including lamb, enoki mushrooms, fish balls, shrimp, tofu skin, and so much more! My favorite part was the fact they could make the broths with a vegetable base and they were still INCREDIBLY FLAVORFUL (especially the Tomato Base one, which is usually a hit or miss at the other hot pot spots in the area). 10/10 would highly recommend, the service and food was great!“

“Ordered a large meal to last me a few days as chinease always does. I placed my order online at there website bit got mixes to whare it said I had to pick it up, no problem there. I called in and the fella that answered changed it back to delivery without any issue. They delivered in less then 10 minutes!?! That's insaine, I have never had someone deliver that quick. Also the driver was very polite. Far as food goes everything is good. I have a sensitive pallet so i am able to taste a lot and lot and there was a lot of taste going on In my food. “We have never eaten at a restaurant like Legendary Spice. It was an interesting experience. Our waiter was very helpful directing us through the process. There is seriously so much food. The steamed dumplings and sesame balls were absolutely amazing. I ordered the Mushroom hot pot & my boyfriend ordered the spicy beef pot. His was definitely HOT, so not my thing, but he enjoyed it. “I stumbled on this place accidentally ?I was going to rainbow and then met “The Cookie Man” and he told me that they sell his cookies at this restaurant so I was only going to the store for the cookies but then the other day I asked a customer how was the food, the man said it was the best fried rice in Minneapolis. I said “what, it hits like that, I got to try it…” and I did. Now for my beautiful ladies with babies, y’all know how it is when a craving hits and you like “it better be on point or else!” I ordered a small order of the shrimp fried rice and although it is simple without all the mixed vegetables and such it is very good. I got to the car food was fresh, I mean burn your mouth fresh, took the first bite and it reminded me of this amazing restaurant we HAD back home called King Fong in downtown Omaha. It was the best fried rice. ??????This is a runner up. So that says a lot. Anybody that know about King Fong in Omaha know about King Fong! ???

Anyways the service is good, speedy and I have not had a problem always nice and friendly and they laugh when I order only cookies previously but now…ordering the cookies and the fried rice. Oh for those that are into the details like that of the dish it is brown rice (I believe it is colored with flavored additives). It has white and green onions, eggs and bean sprouts again simple but comparable to a lot of fried rice that has to add all the extra fixings just to give it flavor this place is great for minimal ingredients with a mouthful of flavor. Don’t even need to add the soy sauce. Again my review is specific to the shrimp fried rice and cookies. Happy eating y’all!

“My husband and I took our two grandkids (5 and 2) out for dinner for the 5 year old's birthday. The staff was helpful suggesting kids portions. They even gave us frosted fortune cookies. A perfect night.

“Their thai boat for me wasn't good they tasted like package noodles. What was great and probably the best in MN to me is their raw larb. They use real pepper, not dry pepper, not chili flakes, real authentic cayenne pepper. 1 out of 5 places I've been to will use real pepper and not just that, they put mint leaves and lemon grass also. A lot of places just throw in cilantro and green onion, maybe red onion TOO. Their lao papaya is good, full of flavor and spice if you ask for it. I would say 4.5/5 overall as my main interest was their thai boat which wasn't for me. Service was great too.“

“The peanut chicken is the star of the show. The skin is crispy and sugary, the sauce is great. I wouldn't recommend the spare ribs, but everything else I've gotten from here is pretty good. Most of the time, the sauce spills out of the containers and into the bag. But that peanut chicken is worth it. I get it delivered through Door Dash so I can't speak for the service or atmosphere.“
