“Seriously such an adorable little place, and the cinnamon rolls are HUGE and so fluffy and caramelized and delightful! I'm so glad it's so close to my work so I can pop in once in awhile. Plus, the two guys working there were personable and made me and my friend a great mix between their raspberry tea and a kombucha.“
“I am so happy to have found Atuvava! Their cheddar biscuits are THE BEST. Great for making homemade breakfast sandwiches! Everything I have tried there I have loved. They even have some takeaway frozen options. Get there early if you can because stuff tends to sell quickly. Every staff member I have encountered has been genuinely friendly. This is an all around great place. ❤️Dietary restrictions: Exclusively gluten-free bakery!“
“Dave The Pie Guy is a staple of the community. There are many guys that like pie but there is only one pie guy. We couldn’t decide what to try so Dave put together a sampler pie for us of a piece of each kind. The pies are fairly priced and award-winning quality. I can’t wait to return to try breakfast.“
“First time here in my eleven years of living in the surrounding area. Bakery products are worth the price. Long johns covered in slivers of almond are worth the price. the ingredients are measured, timely and yum yum so so so delicious.Wheelchair accessibility: U have enough room to get through door.“
“Amazing cheesecake! I was never the biggest fan of cheesecake but this place made me a fan. I just shared some of my key lime with family at Easter and they all loved it. I shared some minis with coworkers and they all said how much they loved it as well. The cheesecake is so light and creamy. And the crust is a very important part as well that is done perfectly. I spoke with the owner when is stopped in and she was so enjoyable to chat with. The staff was so friendly as well, even holding the door when I left as they thanked me. I will definitely go back.“
“Stopped in for lunch & tried the turkey pastrami sandwich. It was SO GOOD. Way better than a sandwich has any business being. I'd say it was the special dipping sauce (it kinda was), but also everything was super fresh. I'll be back to try some treats.“
“I love it. I love it. I love it!!!! ❤️ I like and love everything about this place. I met the nicest gentleman when picking up a birthday ? cake that I had, especially made for an associate of mine for the 64th birthday, and the cake ? was so moist and delicious that the icing OMG ?. I will most definitely be back to order more cakes for more functions. This is the greatest bakery in the whole entire Minnesota..“
“Amazing carrot cake cupcakes! No nuts or raisins (this place is fantastic for folks with a nut allergy!) I love that the cupcakes are the traditional size and not those super-sized ones. Snoopy bars are soooo good! So many wonderful things to try--I'll be back!“
“If I told you an apple sweetie pie changed my life you wouldn't believe me so now you have to read my story.I'm used to getting gas station donuts. To me, grocery store bakery items are the fancy choice. Then, one fateful day I walked into "Hold the Wheat" and like a unrefined street urchin I asked for an "apple fritter." Spencer looked at the shelf and handed me what I thought was their version of an apple fritter. One bite into it I knew I had discovered something special. Flakey pastry, with a gooey, sweet center. Every time I chewed there was more crunch on my palate. I had to stop what I was doing and concentrate on what was happening in my mouth. I finally figured out it was the course grained sugar that was giving it the crunch.I told myself I would write a witty review for them but I procrastinated until I forgot about it. A couple weeks later, I drove by the shop and noticed it's name. "Hold the Wheat?" Hold on, it's also gluten free!? Mind. Blown. It never even occurred to me that what I was eating didn't contain gluten. My wife has a gluten intolerance and I knew I had to let her try it. Well, here I am. She just told me, "It's like heaven on earth."We tried the apple sweetie pie, caramel Spencer cake and a lemon bar. All of them were fantastic.Even the coffee was fantastic.I'll never be able to enjoy another apple fritter knowing that I could be eating an apple sweetie pie.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“This is a neighborhood gem and is the place to come for rustic, whole grain and sourdough breads. Their other baked goods that I've tried including this curry roll, cheddar biscuit, and scones are also really good. The only thing I had from here that was just OK to me was their chocolate croissant. Seating is pretty limited so I have only done take out.I like that their offerings are constantly rotating with the seasons. The owner and staff are super friendly and I'm really glad they are in Longfellow!“
“Super cute donut shop! The staff was so kind. Each of my kids got to pick colors of frosting and sprinkles to decorate a free donut hole!! So cute and they tasted AMAZING as well! Definitely will be coming back.Kid-friendliness: Kids get to decorate a free donut hole!!“
“10/10 highly recommend - I love the Maple Grove location for Nothing Bundt Cakes. Their staff is always so friendly and helpful. Of course, the cakes are amazing and fresh. It can get busy, so I usually place my orders online ahead of time for quick pickup. Will continue coming to this location.Parking: There are always close spots in the lot so it’s a quick in and out.“
“This place is an absolute favorite! I come here regularly and although everything I’ve tried is great, my favorites are the egg and cheese croissant sandwich (unlike any you’ve ever had) kouign amann, and almond poppy citrus bread. It gets crowded on the weekends but if you can snag a seat inside or on the patio, the atmosphere is really nice. Walk right over to the lake if you’d rather take your food to go!I even ordered my wedding cake from Black Walnut! The Cassis Vanilla Bavarian makes for a perfect cutting cake and is beautiful and delicious.“
“Great little bakery with delicious cakes and cupcakes. As a dairy-free family, we appreciate that everything is vegan and that they offer gluten free options as well! I think this place shines with pre-orders, though they do have some baked items for sale (think individual cupcakes, etc) for walk-in clientele.Vegetarian options: Everything is veganDietary restrictions: Vegan, dairy - free, egg - free, and gluten - free options availableParking: Plenty of free parking on cross streetWheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible. Requires climbing a few stairs to enter the building.“
“I loved my Dolche de Leche latte! It was sweet enough without being over powering. I liked the banana bread loaf as well. Street parking was easy to find too! My only complaint is that it gets super busy and has limited seating. I came to sit and visit with a friend and we waited for seating and it was fairly loud. Once it calmed down, it was the perfect environment to visit. I also found the staff very kind and calm despite it being so busy! I would visit again any time!Parking: There is a hill on the side of the coffee shop where it seems the majority of people parked. The neighborhood also has a lot of space to park. Parking on Penn is limited due to a large 30 min parking area, but I found this to be the best parking.“
“Always good, always fresh. My kids attend school in NE so a morning snack makes them happy. My sister in law is German and I tried this place first in Osseo. I’m so happy that they are in NE. Everything is good! Trying the Pretzel with cranberry mustard today, rosemary garlic bread and the ever trustworthy cinnamon stick for the kids.“
“Vanilla latte was beautiful but wasn't sweet enough for my garbage palate. The sourdough pancakes were good and served with real maple syrup. The mushroom biscuits and gravy had an interesting type of mushroom, but the gravy tasted very floury.I would return to try the toast flight, and maybe a biscuit sandwich.“
“Stopped in for a dozen donuts to give as a gift, and one extra for a dessert craving wife. Was met with 12 amazing looking donuts, a very cool guy working the register and a 10/10 mango iced donut with pineapple jelly. Would give 6 stars if I could, and they earned an absolute repeat customer.“
“Such good ice cream. It made my mouth orgasm. It was awkward because everyone around me was wondering why I was moaning so much while eating my ice dream. Then I sneezed and shot ice cream out my nose. That is how you orgasm out of your face.“
“This is such a cute coffee place! I ordered the Nate, and I like the twist of a waffle as the bun. Adds a nice little sweetness to the sandwich. I ordered a flight and it was fun to try the different flavors. The prices aren’t bad. I would recommend coming at a time that isn’t busy. There wasn’t any spots to sit at and at the time there were some people being inconsiderate and taking up more space than they should. I would just recommend putting up signs of being more considerate if it’s busy and being respectful of sharing a space.“
“Cake Box did my son's first birthday cake, and they did an absolutely amazing job! They did an 8-inch double layered cake that was Sesame Street themed and a precious smash cake with an Elmo spoon in it! The cakes were the highlight of the party. Thank you so much again, I will be coming back for all our special event cakes. Oh - it was DELICIOUS! :)“
“Sebastian Joes has been a favorite of my family and friends for years! All their ice cream is excellent, but the best of all is their oreo flavor. Nothing will ever compare. My husband and I chose to serve Sebastian Joe's ice cream for dessert at our wedding, which added to the many great experiences we've had with this amazing local business.“
“We have gotten birthday cakes for our daughters' birthdays from Queen of Cakes for the last few years, and they never fail to amaze us! Our older daughter often has quite specific requirements, and they invariably manage to accommodate her. She was thrilled with this year's cake: a "purple and gold fairy" theme! And the cake itself is DELICIOUS - we always get a ton of compliments!“
“The lemon custard tart & the boston cream pie cupcake were delicious. The house made chai was soothing with a little kick to it. The quiche & tart were good too. We went there without realizing there was no dine in, just take out. It was on a Friday morning, the demand was so high they were already running out of some items.“
“Drove from Richfield just to go to this location. John is such a nice guy and so friendly. The store was clean. He was inviting and very informative with the tester cookie information. I can tell he genuinely cares about this company and he’s one of the people Crumbl should be proud to have representing them.“
“This was one of my favorite interactions I’ve had in so long. Heather is so sweet and kind and made the whole ordering/pick up process so great. I’ve been recommending her to all of my friends and one of them is getting married and reached out to heather already to make a gluten free pie for her wedding! Can’t recommend heather enough. The cherry pie is SO GOOD!!!!“
“WOW!!! Lauren's work BLEW AWAY ALL MY EXPECTATIONS! Absolute cookie wizardry! When I threw out ideas for my best friend's favourite Pokémon for their birthday in the hopes of making them cookies, I never would have imagined the HIGH QUALITY of the cookies nor that such HIGH QUALITY ART would be possible to put on a cookie. Lauren is likely a cookie wizard because her skills are magical. Beyond impressed, and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a special high quality DELICIOUS edible work of art!“
“Best Pastry shop I have tried so far in the Twin Cities!Very good quality pastries and being an amateur of french pastries, I can tell that whoever is behind this (both the chef and the cooks) know their craft.A big shout out for the cannelés !!! They taste as though made right from Bordeaux. It has been so many years since I was able to have such delicious cannelés.This place is a gem, it's not easy to find such a pasty shop in the US. I highly recommend it.“
“I ordered cookies for pick up today-Valentines Day!! I arrived at 10:30am to pick up my cookies and there were already 17 people in the store! The greeter was friendly and said there would be a short wait for orders! No problem! Then I realize that there was only one employee baking the cookies and only one employee preparing the orders! Why, why, why would they not have more help on what is probably Crumbl’s busiest days of the year!! I will say the young lady ( wish I had gotten her name) was doing a great job getting the orders out as quickly as she could and was very friendly and professional upon delivery which was commendable since I’m sure she was overwhelmed!! She definitely deserves a bonus from Crumbl for her service today! By the way, the cookies were as beautiful and delicious as ever ( also a compliment to her)!!“
“Good experience in this very small bakery. Note for newcomers like myself: the actual bakery is on the 2nd floor, while the 1st floor is really like a smaller coffee kiosk. We got a delicious, decadent piece of chocolate cake from the upstairs one- very moist despite the fact that we came in near their closing time. Very friendly service and nice atmosphere (pleasant music, comfy chairs).“
“The ‘coffee cake’ muffins are as good as it gets! Very nice crumb, great flavor. I will be sending these to my out-of-town family members, and bringing to my neighborhood’s monthly ‘coffee at the clubhouse’…they are THAT good! And I got a wonderful note back from the owner, who stated they’re coming out with more flavors soon! Only Woodman’s Carrie’s them in my area. Did I say fabulous? And they freeze well.?“
“Have used them a few times for pick up and delivery for special occasions.Easy to use website. Great service and excellent bundt cupcakes. The seasonal ones can be very tasty too along with the standard favorites. All the experiences have been great. Reasonable and delicious cakes. Highly recommended.“
“This cake tasted better than our wedding cake. I didn’t give too many details on what I was looking for out of my daughters 5 year old birthday cake other than it was a Trolls / rainbow themed party and we loved sprinkles and sparkles… and clearly they crushed it. Everyone was raving about how beautiful and delicious the cake was (especially the kids!) I’ll never go back to using grocery store cakes for events!“
“Love my little neighborhood coffee shop! The staff is always really sweet, they have an abundance of the BEST pastries and its always very cozy!Weekdays are perfect to come here and work. Weekends can be loud, so its a better spot to socialize with friends.“
“This place was adorable and service was fabulous. We visited on April Fool's day and we're very impressed with their amazing spread of trickery. I enjoyed my GF chocolate cupcake with salted caramel frosting. My daughter enjoyed her strawberry cupcake, might have had cheesecake frosting. Chai latte was too sugary for my taste but their Americano was lovely. We will definitely return on a non-ho“
“Royal Grounds is a pretty cozy little coffee shop, nestled along Grand Ave in Uptown Minneapolis. The coffee is delicious, water is plentiful, and the snacks are too notch. I appreciate that the shop discourages tips in favor of a fair wage for all employees. The decor is also quite unique and fun, especially in the bathroom.“
“We stumbled across this when looking for African food and it's the greatest gem ever in the heart of downtown. The service was amazing from taking our order over the phone to rushing to get our food to us, as hot as possible. The woman that helped us was sweet and very gracious for our business, when we should be thankful for her. This food is 10/10 in every aspect. The fufu is fantastic, the chicken and fish were incredibly flavorful and juicy. Both the rice and beans were so flavorful and the portions were giant. The plantains in the stewed beans were perfectly cooked and a perfect addition to the chicken and beans. We will be ordering from here again!!“
“Such excellent, efficient, and friendly service, Tom and Hollie were truly wonderful and welcoming. Very cozy and clean too! Of course the food was delicious (I will always recommend the french toast). Perfect for large groups and incredibly accomodating as well. What a joy, thank you Perkins!“
“Since my family moved from Minneapolis to Crystal last summer, this bakery is a place where my family have began to frequently visit.A really calming atmosphere to either study or relax and chat with friends.I got a mango smoothie along with some cookies, the smoothie was excellent and was a more mild sweetness that I really enjoyed. The cookies were alright, but were better than I did expect.Overall, I really like this place and is pretty close by to where we live. Definitely worth to give the place a try!“
“Family owned company and it tastes amazing! Just like my grandma's cookies. It really tastes homemade and I crave these cookies. They have yummy gluten-free rice crispy with peanut butter/choc. topping bars. They have a nice variety. So good!“
“Delicious coffee, bread, small market/shop options, and the best of the best morning pastries! Take advantage of their seasonal bakery offerings- they are always top notch! I send everyone to Honey and Rye when they ask what my favorite bakery recommendation is!“
“I love coming here. Super quiet. Friendly employees. I’m not a fan of the black coffee, but I think it’s my palette and personal preference. I much prefer their lattes and other beverages. I wish they had more food options. I got a roll once which I thought was overpriced for a piece of bread. I just make sure I eat first now before I go.“
“So happy to have discovered Patisserie Margo - I won't buy a baguette anywhere else now! My friend and I both agreed it was the best baguette we've ever had. All of the desserts we tried were absolutely delicious also (lemon bar, Montana bar, macarons, berry crumb) and the staff was super friendly and helpful.“
“Found their Vienna bread at Morrelli's and it is amazing, honestly the best Vienna bread we have ever had. I can see this bread replacing our every day white loaf. Going back tomorrow for another loaf and I will be making a trip to the bakery soon .....Nummy!“
“Macarons are my favorite dessert. It is kind of hard finding good ones around Minnesota I feel, but Nikolette's is amazing. They have a wide variety of flavors, and you can actually taste the difference between them. Blue Marshmallow and Caramel Cappuccino are my personal favorites, but everything is so good.“
“okay so overall the food was delicious. i got the burrito and it was solid. no real complaints there. the yuca fries also delicious and not too greasy, perfectly crispy. the guac was so fresh and so were the salsas. my only complaint was the guava margarita. mind you i’ve been craving a guava margarita for MONTHS now so my hopes were high. but this one really missed the mark for me. it wasn’t guava-y enough and generally just tasted kinda watered down. (though you can note in my photo that i did drink all of it so it wasn’t unbearable—but truly who can say no to a margarita) it just needed something to take it up a notch.overall a great choice and they were super accommodating for our large group and the service was so speedy.“
“My friend recommended this place to me and it did not disappoint! The cookies are amazing! Today the choices were Banana Cream Pie (yum!) Chocolate Chip, Pink Velvet, Pumpkin Spice, something else with white chocolate chips and one that was half and half.. half dark half light.. I can't remember the names of these last 2. I would say that the business owner would benefit a LOT from employees that speak to you as a guest. There were 3 people behind the counter, not one of them spoke to me until I asked for help. Being that it was my first time in I could have benefitted from knowing that the way you order is through the kiosk not a real live person! Who knew! Call me old fashioned but I actually like when employees greet me, say hello how can I help you and thank you for coming in! As good as the cookies are I'd be hesitant to go in again.“
“We had breakfast here and thought it was good, but could have been a little better. My wife really liked her chilaquiles, but thought it could have used some eggs, more chicken (she had to search to find it) and maybe a few chips on the side so there could be more crunch. I had the mushroom cemitas sandwich and really enjoyed it. There was a good heat to the sandwich and it was very filling. I also had the spicy hot chocolate which was very rich and tasty. The service could have been a little better as we saw our order get finished and had to ask the server if we were supposed to pick it up ourselves after five minutes of waiting, and then he brought it to us.“
“This was me and my Grandpa's favorite restaurant before he passed. It is a family restaurant not fast food so you don't get your order in 5 minutes. You use the time to talk with your loved ones. Also you can't blame the restaurant for the US economy's inflation.“
