“They have THE best Cream Cheese Won Tons ever. We like their food, delivery is fast and they just need to change their voicemail because it says they are closed for 3 dates in October and then the phone hangs up on you. They are close on Mondays. Hope they read this! We thought they were permanently closed.“
“This place owns the bragging rights to the best beef noodle soup selection in Edina. The cuisine is listed as Taiwanese not Hong Kong style which is an excellent departure from the usual wonton dumpling fare. As it was a Monday, the service was quick even with a party table of ten people seated before us.“
“I went here with my mom last night after work for the first time. The service was great! Greeted by a sweet young lady who made the most amazing Thai jelly tea! There was tons to choose from on the menu. Everything was super fresh! Not only do you get a huge amount of food per serving, but they don't skimp on the meat! I do wish the egg rolls were bigger, but that's my only complaint. This is one hidden jem that you don't want to overlook. I'm definitely going back with my partner!“
“Compact Viet- Chinese carry out. Along a strip with tight parking, this place is easily missed, but would be a fun addition if you aren't in the mood to cook. Dined in here during lunch, but not really a place to do that. It has a total of about 3 tables. Most of the orders are carry out for a good reason. 12. Special pho. I normally skipped the meatballs and order extra tendon. This broth was very meaty and flavorful. The tendons were very soft and meat tender. Would order again for sure! 82. Beef rice vermicelli I took as a take away to eat for dinner. Beef had a great flavor and a slight chew, but in the beefy way. Vegetables were crisp and the sauce not overly powering.“
“One of the closest Vietnamese restaurants in my area and the foods always great every time I come, especially the beef vermicelli noodles salad. The services were always great and quick. Also they have a big parking lot and lots of other great places nearby, very convenient. The price is also decent compared to other restaurants.“
“A great little place I must have driven by a 100 times! Sad I hadn't stopped before. My daughter and I stopped in on Easter Sunday after a day of moving. The food was AMAZING! I had roast pork loin mein, she had shrimp fried rice and we shared potstickers. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. A really wonderful little family business that I will absolutely visit again. Highly recommend!“
“Great lunch menu and friendly service. I always getting the lunch Chicken Stir Fry with white rice and an egg roll which ends up being a total of $9.50 with tax. It is a great value considering the generous portion size. Take out only. The dining room is closed.“
“I ordered this through doordash.Their Pork Eggroll is HUGE! and has lots of flavor, and it's crunchy not rubbery! their sesame chicken is also amazing! Best Chinese chicken I've ever had ! very crunchy and lots of flavor! I will definitely order from here again ! only reason for 4 stars is I specifically asked for utensils and didn't get any so I had to go around asking coworkers in hopes they had a fork! But food is well worth ordering again!! Highly recommend!“
“The go to place for dim sum. Family owned with a younger kid running the restaurants which always means the food is amazing. The dim sum menu is voluminous with the traditional dishes. Servers don’t walk around with carts but will walk around with plates of food. Hard to find that nowadays with the traditional carts. The food here is always fresh and busy. Definitely recommend to everyone!“
“We picked up Kung Pao chicken with broccoli and had it made extra spicy! It was amazing! We also got chicken pad Thai, added broccoli and made it extra spicy! Both dishes had a lot of sauce and great flavor. We will definitely be ordering again!“
“I grabbed take out and everything was great. I ordered the chocolate wontons, Szechuan wontons, wonton noodle soup, chicken with black bean sauce and lo mein, and shrimp fried rice. The portions are huge and everything was fresh and flavorful.“
“The sign was not lit up so it’s not visible until you’re on top of the restaurant. We were greeted right away with a friendly smile and the food came out quick. We ordered the appetizer platter, didn’t care for the chicken wings, the breading was weird, but everything else was fine and you nothing tasted greasy. We shared the Triple Kung Pao that was beef, shrimp and chicken. It lacked spice but the flavor was good. It came with a nice size bowl of white rice. Canned soda only. Staff was lovely.“
“We had a great meal! The good was delicious and the service was great. They were very helpful with my toddler and handled a large party (6) with efficiency. There are more things I'd like to try on the menuKid-friendliness: Highchairs available, staff was kind“
“Wonderful quality at a great price! We called in an order closer to closing and the owner was kind enough to fulfill our request! You get great portions for a very affordable price, they have standard Asian American staple dishes as well as some creative options as well! We got beef chow fun (very tasty) chicken chow mien (chunky and NOT mush) and curry crab puffs (SO GOOD). A great find, I will definitely be a new regular!“
“This family owned business is a champion in making the Twin Cities best Bánh mì sandwich. The baguette is perfectly French, and the combination and freshness of the toppings are exquisitely Vietnamese. Have visited twice this week and I love seeing how busy their take out orders have been. Veit-Hoa is a Minnetonka treasure. - Geoffrey“
“Only the third place I've found in the Cities with steamed chicken and that fabulous ginger sauce that is not even sold in Asian markets. This dish is not on the menu. I had to show them the wallpaper photo taken at Chinatown in Chicago on my cellphone. Wife had four plates of dim sum, three of which she loved. I see they have Ma Po Tofu, another of my favorites not often ordered by non-Asians.“
“I came here since I was a child. So, the service is alright, they forget our drink, but we reminded them politely. The Atmosphere is fine. The food is OK, it's just that some of the food looks a bit off, but it's edible and delicious at least for me. 2 people for nearly 45 dollars isn't that bad. They have fruits, fried food, vegetables, sea food, and desserts. I'm giving this a 5 star since the food is delicious and there was no rude employees.“
“This is a hidden gem in the business district of EP. The service and food was excellent for a small party we hosted. We forgot to add appetizers, but the chef and staff did a fantastic job making appetizers and additional fried rice very quickly. Thank you for the great service.“
“We had an incredible meal all three of us and our server Krystal was absolutely above and beyond. We cannot wait to go back! Also, one of my favorite things on the menu is the ciao, fun noodles you can sub them for rice or other noodles in all the dishes and they're really good.“
“Please was a favorite growing up in South Minneapolis. My family would always order from here. It does seem like it’s taking a step back from his heyday. I don’t know if it’s new ownership or not but I’ve ordered the same meal for nearly 15 years and it seems like the food is only ok. Very impersonal but it is take out so maybe that’s to be expected.“
“My deceased grandfather's favorite takeout. I love to go now and then for old times sake, bland but filling. Tasty if you like "American Chinese food" This is old school takeout Chinese. The stuff American servicemen back from the war made a staple for so many families from the 50s through the 80s. I'm nearly 60 and I went there with my grandfather as a child. The guy who founded it still ran it then. The food is hot and filling and the portions are big! Which is nice. The only drawbacks are NO CREDIT CARDS or electronic payment of any kind, they do take checks, but when is the last time you saw a checkbook? The other is they need an option for some more seasoning. They assume like most places that Minnesotan "Chow Mein" customers like traditional Midwestern blandness. I know they can make spicier food, but I don't know how to ask. They don't speak much English, and I'd like to find a way to say "Its wonderful, but please more seasoning in the chow mein"“
“Been getting delivery from here for about a year or so and I am rarely disappointed (I’ve never gotten BAD food, just sometimes it doesn’t slap AS HARD as others but it’s always good) . The General Tso chicken is always delicious, and the orange chicken has a good balance of spicy and sweet. Hot and sour soup is DELICIOUS, so is their cheese rangoons and donuts. They always deliver to me lightning fast with PIPING hot food. Literally the only Chinese place we order from and the prices are crazy low. I can’t believe how much food we get for such low amounts.“
“Food from here tastes better than other 'takeout' in the area. Quality ingredients and more veggies on the menu. Everything so far tastes good. No weird bitter aftertaste, no over-salted or over-breaded meat.Mandarin Chicken - good balance of meat and veggies, not too salty or saucy.Japanese Chicken - also very good, good balance and good sized pieces.Orange Chicken - actually has orange peel!“
“I've become a bit Pad Thai obsessed and the Pad Thai at Mandarin Yang was so satisfying. I ordered online for delivery and was pleasantly surprised of the huge portions! The chicken was tender and I loved that the dish had carrots and sautéed onions that added a flavorful crunch. I give Mandarin Yang 5 stars and look forward to exploring their menu further. If you love Chinese and Thai food that's delicious with large portions, check this place out!!!“
“The yummiest food. We were visiting the area and took a gamble on this chinese place. Food did not disappoint! Server seemed to be in a rush to get us out, though. But she was still attentive. Don’t wear too many layers, it is hot in there! Definitely a little pricey, but worth the splurge.“
“It's an interesting concept. Our waiter was very helpful in explaining how/what to order and how long to cook things. Instead of cooking in oil, you choose your broth (i.e. chicken or pork based). You order protein and some veggies off the menu, and others veggies are available at the self-serve food bar. Also available are lots of spices and sauces to flavor your food. A fun robot delivers your raw food. You place your food in the hot broth and it cooks up fairly quickly. The shrimp and imitation crab were excellent. Pot stickers were very large and tasty. Our friends liked the tofu and chicken. The paper-thin beef and pork were very fatty and, after cooking, there was very little meat to eat. A few starch options are available (i.e. Udon noodles). We thought it was a bit pricey, but it was all-you-can-eat. Afterward, it's fun shopping in the Asian mall, and especially the main level Asian grocery store.“
“They have been here for years and it is a family who owns and operates it. Good people! My favorite as well as my wife's and her sister's favorite is the chow mein with crispy noodles. I think they make their own noodles and they are the best crispy noodles I have ever had. They are unique and very light and crispy. I get the chicken chow mein and my wife gets the fried tofu version. It's not a saucy chow mein. It is like a stir fry and the vegetables are crisp and fresh. I don't like old fashion chow mein with the heavy sauce. For $10 you get a large portion and I just love it! Egg rolls and spring rolls very good too. They do a lot of takeout so there is always plenty of places to sit. That plus the lack of decor I give it a 3 for atmosphere. Parking in the rear or on the street is not a problem.“
“Service is not always great but the sesame chicken is the best I've ever had. I've been here 3 times in the last month just for the sesame chicken. It's that good. I'm sure there are other good items on the menu but I keep coming back for the same thing. It's crispy and always has the perfect amount of sauce. The fried rice has a bit too much black pepper for my taste but is still pretty good as well.“
“We have been going there for years. Dining room no longer open since Covid. Tasty cuisine at great prices always hot and always leftovers. It is our go to just off Old Shakopee at Bloomington Ferry. A winding parking lot to get there. They never miss all the condiments and when orders exceed I think $50 you get hot sugared mini donuts as a perk. They are so nice there. When you call they give you a pickup number. Orders no longer than 15-20 minutes. I can smell the aroma in my head. Get the spicy chicken wing appetizer. Yummy!“
“My son and and I were hungry after buying vinyls at down in valley, and we seen this spot and we ordered chow mai fun (pork) & general tso chicken. Both were pretty good for a quick afternoon lunch. Pricing was good considering food pricing is out of hand in 2024.We both agreed on our next vinyl run we will stop at Ju Yuan again.“
“I haven't had Leeann Chin for at least 15 years, after having it regularly in my much, much younger years, when I worked right by a Byerly's that had one inside. Those were the days...anyway, I was excited to finally eat it again (though I am still bummed that the beef lo mein of old is no longer on the menu, as that was my favorite entree). The Peking chicken was just as outstanding as I remembered. Perfect flavor and texture. The lemon chicken was fine, but a different taste than I remember. Granted, that is a long time ago. The fried rice had a mushroomy taste (I looked it up and saw that it is made in a mushroom soy sauce - my fault for not catching that on the website when I was looking at the menu, as it is clearly written there). I don't remember it tasting that way before (though maybe my taste buds have changed). If you like mushroom flavor, it would be fantastic. I don't like that though, so I'd probably go for the noodles the next time. But the Peking chicken was exactly how I remembered it, which was great. Also, the restaurant was clean, the bathroom was clean, and the employees were very friendly and helpful!“
“I've been working my way through the menu and have Loved everything I've ordered so far. The fried rice is delicious, the pho is delicious, the egg rolls are great, the Vietnamese plates are delicious, and they even put chili crisp in the table!“
“The food here is delicious and the lunch mean prices are unbeatable!!!! They have a wide variety of Chinese entrees during lunch time for $6-$8 and it comes with white rice or chicken fried rice. This place is always busy and there is a reason why! Highly recommend!“
“Have only ordered delivery, but I highly recommend this place. Great food for a reasonable price. Awesome service every time, especially with some severe allergys that my family has. We once ordered twice in the same day and they called us to confirm it wasn't a mistake. No, we just love your food that much!“
“My favorite place to get takeout is the Eddie cheng's in Richfield! Always fast and polite service and delicious food. I recommend the garlic shrimp if you like lots of veggies and a little kick. The veggies are so fresh they still have a little crunch to them which I love. We have always been impressed by the food we have gotten here, and the portions are huge (2-3 meals for me). Please don't ever change!“
“Today I had the wonderful experience of being served by Sam at the bar for dinner. His customer service and attention to detail is the reason I will be returning back. Working in Hospitality myself it's very difficult to find someone who has a natural niche in the customer service industry. Keep up the Great work!“
“This place has some very delicious asian food. They also have some good vegetarian and vegan options. The only problem is the menu! they do have any menu, they have some items written on the back wall, but it does not have all their items. The food is very delicious and I must say that they make the BEST Lo Mein in town. The price is very reasonable and its your wallet friendly.“
“I have been coming here regularly since I was a small child. I’m now 57 years old. The food I get today is the same as I ate as a child. It is old school Chow Mein and no one does it better. The #1 is awesome:Chow Mein, Egg Foo Young and Fried Rice is simply one of my favorite meals EVER. Never had a bad meal here in the hundreds I’ve had. They have tables but it’s really a take out place.Affordable, Cash Only.Jins Rules!!!!!“
“Very quick service. They have a limited menu of chicken wings, fried rice, chow mein, egg rolls, and egg foo young. I had the house fried rice with crab meat. It seemed like it was real crab, not just imitation crab meat. Chicken wings are crispy, very hot, and delicious. I have been here twice and plan to come back regularly although I don't live in the area.“
“A native Chinese and I dined Saturday night inside, although there were more take-outs than dine-in. The Singapore noodles, spicy bamboo tips, lamb Beijing style, Sichuan seared long beans all were excellent. Highly recommend, great friendly service!“
“Food is amazing! I order from here when my family and I don’t have food in the fridge and once we get the food it’s enough to feed my family for days at time especially when we can’t get groceries. Also quick deliveries and will call us when the food is downstairs. I meet the drivers and they are always friendly.“
“An absolute gem for anyone loving Northern/Northeastern Chinese food. Extremely authentic and delicious! Great portion for the price, the several dishes we ordered were fresh and tasted great. Place is clean, well-lit with a chilling vibe, and the owner was super nice!Children's shoes who like Northeast cuisine are not to be missed! The taste is quite authentic, and the portion is quite large compared to the price. The sauerkraut white meat and Northeast Lapi are all delicious. The lamb scorpion tastes good and the lamb stew is soft. The store is clean and well decorated. The owner is from Tieling, a big city, and the people are super friendly. nice“
“We used Pham's Rice Bowl for catering our business meeting. It was great! The food was hot, very delicious, and the service was excellent. The owner was very responsive, on time, and very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. The spring rolls are wonderful. So fresh! The cream cheese wontons were crunch and filled just the right amount of cream cheese. They provided serving spoons and tongs along with the plates/napkins/silverware, that were sturdy and didn't break upon lifting the hearty chicken w/vegetables or digging into the white and fried rice. They catered a great lunch!! Very pleased! Thank you Pham's Rice Bowl. Definitely coming back!!“
“I was so excited to see the return of oyster wings. They tasted just like I remembered only thing is it's not set up yet for the combos so when I first tried to order online wouldn't work. Everything else was great tho! I went inside to order and it was a nice quiet time of day no lines and I could see in the back a pile of green beans that were getting sorted. Nice to know they use fresh ingredients and not just frozen to microwave.“
“Gonna edit my review here. Corporate should be extremely proud. As I walked in it was a hello how are you doing. The order was taken very friendly. Asked how was everything and got a thanks for stopping I hope we see you soon. Hats off to this staff. This is how one takes pride in there job and how management is supposed to do it. Thanks guys“
“Just wanted to jump on here and leave a review after having a good experience. I have lived in Bloomington for 6 years and have eatin at this place a handful of times and not been overly excited about the food. I’m not sure if I had been ordering the wrong stuff but tonight I randomly stopped in again for dinner and was very shocked at how delicious our dinner was. We had Apps: Spicy Dumplings, Hot and Sour soup, Wonton Soup. Entrees: Mongolian Beef, and Orange Chicken. The spicy dumplings seemed authentic and incredible, and both of the entrees tasted very fresh and delicious. Washed it all down with some jasmine tea. I’m not sure if they have new cooks or what but the food was very good tonight.“
“A strange, but wonderful little hole in the wall in North Minneapolis, but ABSOLUTELY worth the trip. With a front door you would expect to find at a house and the plexiglass wall with sliding window and loudspeaker, you kinda feel like you stepped through a wormhole into an old subway station somewhere, but the menu is posted right on the glass and for $20 (plus tax) I got 2 combo plates that included the entrees (which were cooked fresh and tasted amazing), chicken fried rice and egg rolls. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes and was very pleased with everything. I will absolutely be returning soon.WARNING: they do only take cash, but if push comes to shove the market nextdoor has an ATM, so it's not a huge deal.“
“I ordered for the very first time this afternoon, and I couldn’t say more great things about Golden Wok! We got a variety of things to try and every single item was impressive. The fried dumplings were larger than I was expecting and the sauce that it came with was delicious. General Tao’s chicken was top notch and I don’t think I’ve had better lo mein! The staff were extremely friendly both over the phone and in store. Such a great experience!“
“Best Chinese food in Minnesota!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetable meal options to choose from. You can also choose to have the meat removed from the traditional menu as well.Dietary restrictions: They will make any dish to your specific dietary needs.Parking: Plenty of parking within the plaza as well as plenty of street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: All ground level with easy wheelchair access.“
“I got a #12 lunch special and an order of the steamed dumplings. Cost came out to just under $19. The amount of food I got was a ton! Definitely worth the $$.The dumplings were by far the best I have had. Huge size and tasted great! Not a fan of the egg roll. It tasted like it had been rolled in sugar prior to being deep fried. Came off pretty sweet. The sesame chicken was good. Really liked the coating on the chicken. Sauce was ok. Not super spicy but chicken was a little dry.Nothing special about the fried rice. It’s like they just put white rice in the wok with some soy sauce and an egg. No real taste. Would be better if they put just a couple of peas or carrots with some seasonings.I will go back just for the dumplings!!“
