“This is such an adorable speak easy. Very moody and great music. The fire roasted apple flat bread was so flavorful! The coconut shrimp was good. Drinks where amazing, had a pain killer with dinner and espresso martini for dessert. Only thing I did not like was the tarimisu.. thats not tarimisu, there was no lady fingers, no espresso, no flavor.. it was like cake texture with a heaping pile of powdered sugar frosting. Ill try a different desert next time“

“We held our company Christmas Party at their beautiful restaurant and had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and wonderful to interact with throughout the whole evening! We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. We would highly recommend anyone looking to host a party to come here! Now if you are just looking for a bite to eat for a date night or family night out, they also have you covered. No matter what plans you have this is the spot to be! A huge thanks to Lake and Irving for all they did for us and a massive thank you to Chris the chef! “I work for Midway Saloon but the Sunday of the Packer Vikings game we had a father and son who drove from Green Bay and stayed at the B &B next to Midway Saloon. They went to Blackhart either Saturday or Sunday. Tony was bartending. They had a blast! Tony was taking care of these two out of towners making them feel right at home. Tony just being Tony and making people feel welcome at Blackhart! They wanted to thank Tony for making there stay very enjoyable! Just passing on Positive stuff

“Flora Room is a gorgeous cocktail bar located behind and beneath Chef Del Prado's steakhouse Porzana. Fortunately, I arrived at 5:30 PM on a Saturday, which was early enough to avoid a line and a velvet rope. I don't wait in line for anything unless I'm at a pharmacy, bakery, post office, or airport. Lines at restaurants and bars strike me as pretentious or bad management, and I don't tolerate either. However, I'm old, and at my age, nothing is worth waiting for unless it's a necessity.

I found a seat at the beautiful and expansive bar and looked around at the Del Prado design. The colors might be different, but Flora was reminiscent of Minari and Noma. All three add to the Twin Cities' cachet. However, I was taken aback by the attire I saw around me. People were dressed in shorts, T-shirts, and sneakers. It's friggen Saturday night Minneapolis. Have some class!

Flora Room was a lovely cocktail lounge, perfect for wooing, but don't expect to strike up a conversation with any of the bartenders. At these Del Prado joints, the staff must be trained not to engage. I'm out alone and enjoy talking. Bartenders used to be part of a lounge's attraction when I grew up in NYC. They learned your name, knew what you did, and gave you a hearty welcome. That, I guess, is not part of the culture in Minneapolis. Well, at least not at the Del Prado restaurants and bars. Chef Del Prado is from Argentina, and certainly, Argentina is one of the warmest and friendliest countries in the world, so I don't get it. I now live up the block from the Flora Room. I'm a neighbor and would like to be treated like one. Neighborly and the Flora Room are distant concepts.“

“This place was so cute! The food was good as well, got some pizza and played some games. There was a couple leaks that were messy to be around, but not the worst deal. Most of the games still worked and getting coins was easy. The bartender was very quick to get our drinks and they weren’t bad either! Perfect strength for the price. Would definitely come here again if I was in this state or here regularly“
