“Highly recommend Mr. Paul's Supper Club for a fun night with friends or a date night. I would suggest you make a reservation as it was hopping even on a Sunday night. We sat at the full service bar with Dante hooking us up all evening. He is skilled in his craft, made an amazing Old Fashioned and provided excellent drink and food recommendations. Food was absolutely awesome starting with some oysters, main course of lobster gnocchi finishing with apple crisp. Diverse menu with plenty of options. “I, quite literally, had the best meal of my life here! We shared the samosas, grilled scallops, grilled salmon, butter chicken, and a ginger chaitini. The flavor in these dishes was something I have never experienced at any other restaurant. They genuinely have a menu that caters to everyone’s likes and tastes. “Waterbury is a walkable place when I lived at West Lake Quarter off of Excelsior. A family member encouraged me to try it out and immediately it began to be one of my favorite places. I own my own business and work out of my home. I was looking for a walkable place to meet clients, as well as meet up with family and friends, for coffee, breakfast, lunch, happy hour, or dinner. Staff are friendly, service is attentive without being intrusive. A marvelous overall experience.“

Waited 20mins before getting someone to take just our drink order and it was the bartender from inside not even our server that noticed we were still sitting there with nothing. Then barley good service once our waiter did finally come. We all could have had another drink but never could since we werent asked till after we were done with food. Food was actually really good and good portions for the price. But the service ruined it. I can't recommend this place and don't know if we will back. Plenty of other places with good food that actually have good service.“

The young man host was EXCEPTIONAL that checked me out ( he brought my pizza to my car and went inside to grab extra blue cheese dressing for me.) “We recently tried out Lat 14 in Golden Valley and had a wonderful time!

Upon entrance the atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant with attentive service and staff.

We started with the Basil Wings, they had a delicious crispy exterior and were soft and tender inside paired with fried jalapenos and a hint of lime, definitely a highlight of the night! We also tried the Snow Crab Wontons, which did not disappoint, they were tasty and served with the Apricot Sweet Chili sauce that added a fruity sweetness that tied it all together.

To follow, we went with the Khao Soi Chiang Mai, served in a generous bowl, it was a dish that was enjoyable and had a little kick to it! The Chicken Adobo Fried rice was flavorful, served with a sunny side up egg and soy vinegar braised bone-in chicken, all very tender.

Throughout our stay we tried a few different cocktails, the Jasmine 45, by simply looking around we noticed how popular it was and I would totally recommend it, it was bubbly, sweet, and refreshing! The Mango Mojito was very good, it reminded us of a mango soda rather than a mojito. The Lat 14 Old Fashioned was perfect for slowly sipping throughout the night. Lastly, the Espresso Martini, made with a mix, we usually prefer them on the stronger side, this one was very light and smooth.

To end the night off we tried the Luq’s Scoop for dessert, it was a delicious toasted coconut ice cream served with caramelized pineapple, toasted coconut flakes, and toasted almonds. It was creamy and sweet, the perfect way to wrap up our stay!

Overall, we had a great time trying out Lat 14, we enjoyed their take on classic dishes and drinks and would totally recommend it to anyone looking to branch out and try some diverse Asian cuisine.“

“Was at Moes's Char House Chanhassen with Sarah Morgan . Pulled $250 in Pulltabs. The waiter, an Excelsior Dufus, would not let me use 3 credit cards, he demanded cash. I tipped him $30 and then the manager yelled at me for shorting the tab. $50 in cash had gone missing from the table as the Excelsior Man giggled at me. I tipped him $30 more and left. Don't go to Moe's Char House!“

“I've been to this location four times, the food has been great everytime, my favorite is the deviled egg open face sandwich and banana bread latte. Even the busier times I've visited the service has been good and attentive. Couple things to note, seating near the door can be pretty uncomfortable especially on a cold day and there is an hour limit per table, which is not based on when your order is taken or receiving your order but from when you arrive at your table, even if they're busy and orders are taken well after you've been seated. Two minutes after collecting payment we were informed of this rule, although the host wasn't rude when sharing this it felt a little less than appreciative of our business, not sure I'll return because of this.“
