“For our company’s employee appreciation party, we booked a cruise on the Belle Vista, and it was wonderful! The crew was very kind, professional and attentive and the food was amazing. We are beyond impressed with how smoothly everything went from the initial booking to the day of the cruise. Morgan worked with us diligently to book the cruise and did a fantastic job recommending which boat would best fit our group and helped with selecting our food choices. We can’t thank all the staff at Al and Almas enough, from the cooks that prepared our food, to the many behind-the-scenes staff, and the incredible crew that made our day so special. We highly recommend Al and Almas for any event and can’t wait to plan our next cruise.“

“I walked over to The King’s House for lunch while getting my motorcycle tuned up at Davis Motorsports just down the street. I got one of their specials, the taco salad with chicken. It was among the best taco salads I’ve had. I especially enjoyed the burst of flavor from the fresh cherry tomatoes generously embedded in the salad. The shell is clearly home made, as is the unique sauce. The seasoning and herbs on the chicken were also perfect. Everything was very fresh. The presentation was excellent. Their ice tea is clearly brewed fresh too. I went ahead and had a mojito for desert and found it well crafted and refreshing on a July afternoon.

My server was professional and personable.

The place wasn’t very busy at lunch time. But I got the impression their busy time is evenings. Tables are nicely spaced. They have outdoor dining. Ample free parking in their dedicated lot. I enjoyed their playlist as I ate - a diverse mix of mostly alternative soft rock. I was pleased that they didn’t have any distracting TVs in the restaurant.

Everything is accessible to wheelchairs.

Kid-friendliness: Wooden tables and chairs, concrete floor - nothing fancy about the space - but everything is clean and comfortable. It would be an welcoming place to bring the whole family.

“Honestly our experience couldn't have been better. We arrived early and were offered complimentary Prosecco while we waited. A small thing, but a nice touch. Old fashioned was a 10. Food was inventive, aesthetic and cooked to perfection. Server was attentive and informed. Really nice job to all involved!“

“Great place to meet and hang out with friends. Casual atmosphere. Patio seating is a favorite. They really do have excellent burgers. They do have a great selection of beer however, it would be excellent if they had hard cider on tap. You do have the option of buying a bottle of your favorite wine at the attached liquor store and enjoying it for a corking fee. The staff is long-standing and ever friendly. Haskell's will always remain a favorite.

The "cottages" are wonderful even though there is downsizing to get done. The staff is very helpful and cheerful. The food is great - besides the 'every day menu," there are specials for lunch and dinner. The menu is quite varied with chicken, beef/veal, pork, turkey and vegetarian.“

“Drive up lane was full as our most in these times but the wait staff came out and moved a few of us vehicles to the front of the restaurant and took our orders, then delivered food. I was out of there in less than 9 minutes! Awesome!“

I had the pulled pork barbecue sandwich which I don't regret getting, one of the best I have ever had. The other people I was with got the chicken loaded burrito, and they absolutely loved it.

Our server Chris, was Awesome. He would check in regularly, refill our drinks, and ask if we needed anything.

“Every year the girls get a pup cup for their birthday. Usually we go to that other ice cream place, but I like Culver's custard and figured I'd stop in quick and inquire for her birthday on Monday. The very sweet employee thought I was asking for one instead of just inquiring if they do that at this location and came back with one for the girls. “We had a brunch for 16 people at 11am. While they weren't able to hold seating/make reservations; they were able to make it a very short waiting time. Page and the serving crew were amazing! We had no waiting time on ordering and our server was professional and speedy. They kept the drinks coming and we had someone in our party with a lot of special food needs and they were wonderful! First place we've been to where my husband could eat an entire meal to his fill. The food was delicious! No one in the entire party had a single complaint! “We’ve been to Iron Tap a few times and it never disappoints! Today we went to celebrate my son’s heavenly 3rd birthday. Initially we were okay and my daughter seemed fine but within a few minutes she decided she didn’t want to be there… the owner (or really awesome and amazing bartender) came to our rescue and offered us dinosaurs and another area to sit so my 1.5 year old could move and not bug anyone. She didn’t know us or our situation, just saw an overstimulated mother. I wish there was more I could do, because you made our celebration so special. Thank you!“

Met Chef James at Twins game and made a special short 20 minute trip out from our downtown hotel. Food was worth the trip, staff was absolutely great and friendly. We brought our pup with us, plenty of outdoor sidewalk and patio seating, and a water dish provided. Will be back again.“

“Birch's is one of the best places to go in the entire Twin Cities. It's unique yet, classic in many ways. Delicious food. Great Staff. Beautiful Ambiance. The crowds always bring a great energy.“

A little spendy, but there are lower-priced items, and for authentic Italian food, you can't beat it. The service was fabulous - our server was very attentive and very helpful with the menu. When we had questions about the wine, the bartender brought over the wines we were considering and explained each one thoroughly. After our dinner, we went out to the patio to sit by the fire and finish our wine. It was the perfect end to a wonderful meal!
