“Solomon's Bakery is a regular at the Linden Hills Farmers' Market on Sundays. Every week I'm impressed by their high quality and creative pastries/treats/loaves. This week they had the most delicious pineapple sweet roll - please make this one again!“

“WOW!!! I just ate the world’s most perfect danish from here. Rhubarb, cream cheese, perfect pastry/filling ratio, a little crumble on top. Masterful work going on here! Super chill and friendly too! Great way to start the morning.“

“This is a great place. The owners are cool and fun to talk to. The baked goods are very high quality and affordable. A lot of other bakeries have stuff that tastes like bland butter mixed with sugar but this place has very good flavor. Not too sweet, high quality ingredients. They also sell food such as sambusas, ful and tibbs which are fresh and tasty! The coffee is good too“

“So, I’ve had unpredictable bouts of constipation throughout my life. I remember receiving enemas that were meant for elderly individuals when I was 8 or 9. When I attended this restaurant, I haven’t had a bowel movement in around 2-3 days. Previously before that I required stimulant laxatives, which creates muscle contractions to force waste out of your anus. I tried a basic cheeseburger with a side of fries, and a raspberry peach iced tea. As soon as I finished my meal, I felt it. The rumbling that signals such an impending cloud of doom in your stomach, causing your heart to metaphorically drop 50 feet from my chest. I drove home, as I didn’t feel it appropriate to require Perkins to call in a biohazard crew to wall off the women’s restroom. Immediately I rushed down to the toilet, and unleashed hell. 3 days worth of regularly eaten-and-digested goodness exploded out of my bottom like a flood gate- It was indescribable the stench, it could probably harm a small child. Like not normal fecal matter, something radioactive and potent enough to kill a rodent. It was half liquid and half solid as it endlessly exited it’s swollen, dark tomb. I have never felt such relief, and from the most unlikely of places. Thank you, Perkins. May our stars cross again someday when I need to take a giant gorilla dump.“

“We discovered Cardigan Donuts on our way to the Target Center for the Bruce Springsteen concert via the City Center skywalk, so we came back the next morning. Holy delish! We’re so glad we did! We tried the Old Fashioned, glazed blueberry cake and the strawberry rhubarb filled Bismarck. All three were wonderful - beautifully crafted, genuine tastes of powdered sugar, fruit…just real ingredients. The staff were super friendly and we even got a discount for being first timers! “We were in town this weekend and this place was close to our Airbnb, and let me tell you it did not disappoint! The staff were so friendly and accommodating, it felt more like stepping into someone’s home for a meal than it did a quick trip to a restaurant. The food was so good, from the baked goods to the breakfast burritos. Delicious coffee with cream and a clean and warm environment. Would recommend.“

Our favorite 5-star server is Laurie, who remembers us, greets us with a smile and thanks us whenever we show up. There is also a wide selection of croissants, all perfectly flaky and crispy.

Scheduled a consultation with millie who was patient and open to any ideas we had for a cake, we decided on a variety of flavors available and gluten free option. In addition we purchases a couple extra 1/4 sheet cakes to accomodate other guests who would like to try different flavors. The ease of placing an order, receiving invoice of desired cake design was a fast process. She gives you an honest time frame of pick up or delivery options within the twin cities. Pricing was below the national average with her positive attitude to make anything you can think of is a reason not to shop any other bakery.“

WE had 5 dozen cookies and 4 dozen bars, and at this point, even with only about 80 people, there's maybe a handful of each left and they will be gone before the end of the day. I will definitely order from them for personal and work events again. Andrea was so nice and helpful in getting us set up with such a large order and all of it was so good. The cookies are massive and soft and fresh and the pumpkin streusel bars were tender and flavorful. Really cannot express how happy we are with the service and quality.“

“The Saint Paul location of Nothing Bundt Cakes is the BEST IN THE STATE!!! The Events and Wedding Manager, Barb, is a literal angel! She is so kind and accommodating, and went the extra mile with Wendy (the owner, another angel!) and other staff members to pack our bundtinis into 160 2-cupcake boxes so we could distribute them as “his and her favorite flavor” favors on the way out at the end of the night. The Nothing Bundt Cakes staff took such care to ensure that the bundtinis were placed properly and did not get smushed in transit and worked with our Day of Coordinator directly to pick them up the day of our wedding. The “his and her” bundtini boxes were a huge hit with our guests!“

“I love this place! The bakery is fantastic, but I have to practice self control and not go in there every time I come to the grocery store. The grocery store side of the place is a colorful, beautiful, place that just makes me happy when I walk inside. They sell an array of items from cooking vessels, utensils, dishes, to a whole isle of inexpensive spices, fresh produce, meats, and many things specific to Central and South American cooking and cuisine. They have a breakfast/lunch counter with a seating area where you can order an array of authentic cuisine including tacos, beans and rice, burritos and more.“

“We stopped in for some gelato after dinner one night and got one medium gelato and one affogato. (The small size was crossed off the list.) We were expecting the price to be around $14, but it came to $19! The gelato was good, but a bit mild in flavor, and the affogato was tasty. They have a ton of other beautiful desserts like cannolis, macarons, cakes, and more.“

Meghan was very friendly and professional. She was very communicative and her prices are reasonable. She even delivers which makes me 100% more better especially if you have an event you're throwing and it's less stress and anxiety worrying about having to pick it up! I was a bit out of her delivery range but she was so sweet and was willing to deliver it to me for my first babyshower and that meant a lot to me and I'm very appreciative! The cookies came out sooo much more than I expected! I was flabbergasted when I seen them. There was soo many details and everything looked so adorable and cute. It was a lot better than what I expected and then more! I highly recommend her as she does amazing work!! Her work truly shows what amazing things she can do!
