I went in and the woman working said she could switch out the crunch for M&Ms. Not only was she able to make the cake the same day (6 hours notice) there was no additional fee for “gluten free”. “Pure nostalgia at an affordable price. Do you remember that place where you could collect nickels and dimes to get an ice cream cone or a hamburger? Conny’s is that place. Instead of nickels, you may need to pull together a few dollars, but it still has the feeling of an old school ice cream spot. Complete with an outdoor window and picnic tables, you can get a burger, chili dog, or a soft serve. I loved it and it will become part of our regular summer routine.“

“I have went to this place twice and already a favorite. The service is great. You are able to try two flavors I tried the mango strawberry sorbet the first time I went and that was the one . Absolutely loved it . The second time I went which was yesterday I had the ube vanilla and it was also great. You have the choice between a waffle cone or three different size cups which was nice.
I always do a cone. The seating area instead and out is beautiful. The outside though looks like a fairy house lol . Very whimsical. Overall this is a great stop in south Minneapolis. I’m sure I’ll be back soon.“

“If you're looking for a great ice cream shop with tons of flavors and ginormous portions, look no further! I only made the mistake once of getting a single. Kiddie size is more than enough ice cream, trust me. Their kiddie size is probably bigger than anything you could get elsewhere. They even let you choose 2 flavors. You can choose between cup or cone, but we always go cup just to avoid the dripping cone. There's a small seating area inside and a nice sized patio out front. It's a bit of a drive for us, but we get there at least once a year.“

“I'm giving 4 stars because I want this review to get attention. I like this place a lot, but the amount of times I get food I didn't order is concerning. Now I'm afraid to go back for fear I'll get something I can't even eat, then they have to make it again and waste food. The food is too expensive for this to keep happening.

Other than that, as I said, this place is good, the food is good. The staff is always nice and I know they would be amenable when there is an issue with the food, but this happens so often I fear it wouldn't stop even if I did say something. I know it's not malicious or anything and sometimes things get mixed up. But it's happened so many times I felt compelled to leave this review in the hopes management sees it and takes steps to be more cognizant of what the customers are ordering and what they are giving them. I'm not sure what the intention is behind this, if any. I just don't want to waste food.“

“Dream burger double smash. Great tasting skirt. Great smash sear. The dream sauce was delicious. I could dip anything in that sauce. Pickles were great and not overpowering. The bun was buttery and held up nice. Dreams fried chicken sandwich with hot honey was off the charts. great flakey crust and buttermilk chicken was juicy! Devoured in seconds.  strawberry 🍓 shake and a chocolate malt hit the spot on this 90 degree + day.“

I also tried the Pandan a unique flavor that is plant-based green and color and delicious and taste. I got 4 different flavors but want to go back to try them all! “A staple on grand ice cream parlor. Wonderful in house made ice cream it is some of the best in the city. Great portions excellent flavors and such a home town feel atmosphere. The smell of their sweet Waffle cones fill the air the moment you hit the door. The strawberry cheese cake is my favorite ? ? so yummy creamy and delicious.“

“Phish Food: This flavor was born in 1997 and is named after a Vermont improvisational rock group. A portion of the royalties from the flavor goes toward environmental efforts in Vermont’s Lake Champlain Watershed, which is great since our current government leadership doesn't seem to care about the environment. The pint’s description is chocolate ice cream with gooey marshmallow swirls, caramel swirls, and fudge fish. When I first began digging through my pint I did not see much of the marshmallow swirls. After mining my way through the frozen treat, I finally found a fair amount. The chocolate ice cream is rich and is complemented nicely by a school of fudgy fish that have a flavor edging closer to dark chocolate. Chocolate lovers should be happily satisfied with this one. It’s almost like a double chocolate fudge ice cream because there’s so much chocolate ice cream & fudge fish as compared to the marshmallow and caramel. Speaking of caramel, the caramel swirls do take the flavor up a notch, but they could be more abundant. Caramel is one of my favorite flavors and the combination with the chocolate and fudge reminds me of a frozen candy bar. The marshmallow swirl has a sweet/cream-like flavor. It is not simply marshmallow flavored ice cream, but texturally it is something resembling actual marshmallows, like fluff, and I love it! I wish there was more caramel & marshmallow, but overall I’m impressed. Doughboy approved 😋
