“We stopped in by accident on a Friday night. The food is incredible. The cook really understands herbs and spices and is making everything from scratch. Not being familiar with Ethiopian food, we randomly ordered samosas, lamb tips, beets and lentils. Each dish was a mouthful of delight. The beets were my favorite and my friend who does not like beets loved this. Not at all convenient to my house, I will gladly drive for this food and sweet little restaurant.“

“We recently got married (October 2024) and Lake Elmo Inn catererd our wedding. It was absolutely AMAZING! We had the prime rib carving station and the walleye as well as the duck soup and salad. Our guests are still talking about the food. We decided to upgrade to the "LEI Experience" which means each of your guests get a warm hand towel, an intermezzo sorbet, and a chocolate covered strawberry!!! We were over the moon with the service on the night of the wedding and all our communication with LEI throughout the process. Special shoutout to Kayla G. who was the most patient, professional, and kind event manager! She answered every single one of my (many) questions and she did so with a smile! On the night of the wedding, we were SO impressed with how fast the servers were able to get to each of our guest tables and keep the flow going. It was seamless, seriously. We cannot recommend Lake Elmo Inn Catering enough. They've total pro's and just know that you'll be in good hands. “It was good. One of my son's favorite spots in Stillwater. I can tell how good a Mexican restaurant is going to be by its chips and salsa. You can tell that Mi Paeblo used fresh oil to fry the chips and do not overcrowd the fry basket. You taste the chip, not the oil and they are cooked evenly. Good salt. Salsa doesn't seem overly spicy, but by the end of eating it you get the spice. Perfect! Chucky, but we'll blended. Just like my theory above, the food was prepared fresh and with care as well.“

“I ordered the beef ribs and pork ribs with their 5 cheese baked Mac and cheese and it was absolutely delicious!!! The pork ribs were a bit salty but if you eat it with the BBQ sauce they provide it's amazing I got them with the side Mac and the Mac was soooo good! You can tell there are 5 different cheeses and it wasn't dry! The pork ribs came with about 4 ribs and a few ends. The beef ribs are pretty big and came with 2 and an extra end. Next time I order I will definitely be getting just the beef ribs in my opinion they were better they had a bit of spice to them and weren't too salty! Baked Mac and cheese 9/10 just wish it came with a little more. Pork ribs 6/10 they were too salty but decent. Beef ribs 9/10 perfectly seasoned just wanted a little more moisture.“
