“We recently got married (October 2024) and Lake Elmo Inn catererd our wedding. It was absolutely AMAZING! We had the prime rib carving station and the walleye as well as the duck soup and salad. Our guests are still talking about the food. We decided to upgrade to the "LEI Experience" which means each of your guests get a warm hand towel, an intermezzo sorbet, and a chocolate covered strawberry!!! We were over the moon with the service on the night of the wedding and all our communication with LEI throughout the process. Special shoutout to Kayla G. who was the most patient, professional, and kind event manager! She answered every single one of my (many) questions and she did so with a smile! On the night of the wedding, we were SO impressed with how fast the servers were able to get to each of our guest tables and keep the flow going. It was seamless, seriously. We cannot recommend Lake Elmo Inn Catering enough. They've total pro's and just know that you'll be in good hands. “We stopped in by accident on a Friday night. The food is incredible. The cook really understands herbs and spices and is making everything from scratch. Not being familiar with Ethiopian food, we randomly ordered samosas, lamb tips, beets and lentils. Each dish was a mouthful of delight. The beets were my favorite and my friend who does not like beets loved this. Not at all convenient to my house, I will gladly drive for this food and sweet little restaurant.“

“Really good well rounded hot pot BBQ place. Better than others in the area. Very loud, and chaotic at peak dining hours. I don't particularly agree with a tip surcharge (i think it was 18%?) For a table of two when your order is taken via iPad, and a robot brings it to your table, and you have to get your own sauces and sides and desserts etc... very little hospitality in this style of service for the need to add that charge.“

“On top of having great service the food was amazing. I had half a dozen Oysters, they were delicious and the King Crab leg with there ranch and cheese mashed potatoes. It was a lot of food but the best I’ve had. I’d say they were as good as or better than the Oceanaire downtown Minneapolis. Bill was $180 before the tip.“

“I ordered the beef ribs and pork ribs with their 5 cheese baked Mac and cheese and it was absolutely delicious!!! The pork ribs were a bit salty but if you eat it with the BBQ sauce they provide it's amazing I got them with the side Mac and the Mac was soooo good! You can tell there are 5 different cheeses and it wasn't dry! The pork ribs came with about 4 ribs and a few ends. The beef ribs are pretty big and came with 2 and an extra end. Next time I order I will definitely be getting just the beef ribs in my opinion they were better they had a bit of spice to them and weren't too salty! Baked Mac and cheese 9/10 just wish it came with a little more. Pork ribs 6/10 they were too salty but decent. Beef ribs 9/10 perfectly seasoned just wanted a little more moisture.“

“We got the alambre with 1/2 chicken and 1/2 al pastor and the pollo poblano and it was delicious! Service was excellent. We just moved here from Arizona and it’s been hard to find good Mexican food here, but this place hits the spot! We’ll definitely be back again ☺️👏🏽“
