“I’ve been here three times already and it never misses. Huge shout-out to their lamb sandwiches and of course, the handmade noodles. I’ve tried a few types, but the extra-thin ones in their soups are my favorite. Everything I’ve had so far has been great, full of flavor, and made with care. This place really fills a gap for something like this in Minneapolis, and I’m so happy to have it so close to home!“

No one in the south (this area) makes Chow Mein like House of Hui’s. This is always our first stop when we visiting!“

“Great atmosphere and friendly workers. We were the only ones there at the time so we had free rein. Options were great. We got all you can eat hot pot which came with sushi too. My daughter didn't know how to eat the crawfish or shrimp and the worker came over to show her. Absolutely awesome of them. Totally weird but the toilet paper was so nice. Anyways, it's nice place to go.“

“This is a strictly take out/ delivery place so there is no dine in option. The storefront is purely functional and serves as semi storage for restaurant materials. That said, the food is good. I had a bad experience here maybe 12 years ago but it has clearly changed ownership and chefs since then. The food here is SOLID for that nostalgic American Chinese food! The hot and sour soup is epitome of what it should be (I was raised in my parents’ Chinese restaurants so I know) and the fried wing appetizers are terrific. My kids are obsessed. We also always get General Tso’s Chicken which every kid loves. I’ve also enjoyed Singapore noodles and Indonesian fried chicken ice here. Super glad to have a decent Chinese takeout in my neighborhood!“

“We have been coming to this restaurant for many years. Food has always been really fresh and good. Food is not pre-made so it takes a little longer than a fast food restaurant. When we come with a larger group, we preorder before we arrive. Everyone we have recommended this restaurant to have also loved the food and staff. The owners have become like family to us. Always so friendly. We highly recommend this local restaurant.“

“The food was ordered through DoorDash but came piping hot and was wrapped nicely. I loved the vegetable lomein, the fried rice was delicious as well, along with the wontons (and I did order two pork egg rolls on the side not pictured.) I loved all of it! My husband and I can’t seem to find similar food close to our China Restaurant in Roseville but this is much closer to home and tasted similar in my opinion. YUM. Get it. I’ll def order again! I’m picky when it comes to Chinese food but this was so close to what I’m used to ordering for years and years!! I’d order everything listed again. Check them out.“

“I live in Wisconsin, but I'm from Minnesota originally. This place is the hidden gem. Literally the best Chinese food I've ever had in my life. The chicken is high quality. And the Fried Rice is to die for. I'm telling you 10 out of 10.“

“Moved to the area a couple of years ago and have been trying to find a good Asian restaurant. It’s surprising how difficult it can be to find good Chinese food at a decent price. We finally found one. We have to drive a bit further than I’d like, but it is worth it. The food is delicious, hot and fresh. The service is great. Some of the best cream cheese wontons I’ve had. The donuts are yummy and we love the moo shu. So happy we found it!“

“They have some of the best cream cheese wontons I’ve ever had! They were crispy and crunchy and warm but not greasy or chewy. They didn’t even lose their crispy texture later on, after eating them for leftovers! I also recommend their sugar donuts as they were delicious too and they were the least greasy sugar donuts I’ve experienced yet!

All of their other foods were a hit as well, but these were my favorites to eat in general and here at Xin Xin, they were the best I’ve had out of anywhere else.“

“The take out food was all delicious. Lots of vegetarian options. We ordered the orange chicken based on comments it was “a favorite,” and we definitely agree. Great egg and vegetable rolls (crisp and very flavorful). The vegetable fried rice was really great with big chunks of vegetables. Just wonderfully fresh tasting, piping hot at pick up, and lovely owners. It deserves its high rating.
Note: for the $20-30 price range per person, we ordered generously and had 2 to 3 meals from our order. Remember to grab condiments (soy, duck sauce) at the counter. I don’t think they were automatically added to the bag.“

“I've been here a couple times, both early lunch and late dinner. I've had both the Pho and Bun Bo hue. I love their broth for the Pho its honestly the best out of the other local Pho restaurants in terms of flavor. BBH was okay. It didn't like their broth as much but it was loaded with lots of meats. The service is really good, I appreciate there were checking on us with refill water and if the food was to our liking. Very kind people. 2 things I think they could improve on is the cleanliness of the store like the condiments thats out and secondly is their pricing is just a bit expensive (but still comparable to local restaurants .) Overall I would recommend this place for its flavorful broth and great service.“

Been enjoying the General’s Chix and Wonton soup from Fresh Wok since 1997.
We live 35 minutes south of Mpls and this is the only Chinese takeout my family will have cuz they’re that GOOD!!!
Fresh, Real Chix breast chunks and a delicious sauce combined to make the most consistent dish we’ve ever had.
Will continue to enjoy when coming to the cities.

“We have been looking for a good Chinese take out restaurant for some time. Hong Kong is a very good choice, the food has been excellent. We have been back a number of times and the food has been excellent every time.“

“Through some growing pains of new ownership, this remains the best Chinese takeout option in Maple Grove, no contest. The fried rice is Thai style, and delicious! Sesame chicken is different than anywhere else, crispy and sweet but also a bit of heat. Cream cheese wontons and egg rolls have been just okay, but everything else has been great. We still love Yu Fong! The new owners have made a real effort to connect with their customers and we see that and appreciate it!“

“I stumbled on this place accidentally ?I was going to rainbow and then met “The Cookie Man” and he told me that they sell his cookies at this restaurant so I was only going to the store for the cookies but then the other day I asked a customer how was the food, the man said it was the best fried rice in Minneapolis. I said “what, it hits like that, I got to try it…” and I did. Now for my beautiful ladies with babies, y’all know how it is when a craving hits and you like “it better be on point or else!” I ordered a small order of the shrimp fried rice and although it is simple without all the mixed vegetables and such it is very good. I got to the car food was fresh, I mean burn your mouth fresh, took the first bite and it reminded me of this amazing restaurant we HAD back home called King Fong in downtown Omaha. It was the best fried rice. ??????This is a runner up. So that says a lot. Anybody that know about King Fong in Omaha know about King Fong! ???

Anyways the service is good, speedy and I have not had a problem always nice and friendly and they laugh when I order only cookies previously but now…ordering the cookies and the fried rice. Oh for those that are into the details like that of the dish it is brown rice (I believe it is colored with flavored additives). It has white and green onions, eggs and bean sprouts again simple but comparable to a lot of fried rice that has to add all the extra fixings just to give it flavor this place is great for minimal ingredients with a mouthful of flavor. Don’t even need to add the soy sauce. Again my review is specific to the shrimp fried rice and cookies. Happy eating y’all!

“Ever since the remodel this location hasn't given me any issue. My food is always ready on time, the staff is very polite and everything tastes good. If you ever had issues at this location in the past, I highly recommend giving it another shot.“

“Was shopping in ridgedale and wasn’t able to find something I wanted to eat.. then the smell of orange chicken hit my nose.. looked over and saw Leann Chin calling my name. Must of been fate, as I walked up to look at the food choice the lady working up front came from the back with a fresh pan of orange chicken.. seeing that sealed the deal!! I ordered the orange chicken with noodles and fried rice, got a soda as well. The prices are decent but the food was great! Fresh tasting and quick. Having this made the rest of my day go well.
