“Everything was obviously freshly prepared with complex flavors, crisp vegetables and tender chicken. Entrees are very generous so one was plenty with an appetizer for two. Our waiter was also very helpful and pleasant. Mai Thai is a hidden gem in Robbinsdale.“

“I am writing this review to say that I miss the frosting that used to be on the carrot cake. For some reason they moved from a beautiful rich cream cheese frosting to a rubbery layer of frosting. I am not sure if it is supposed to be like this but it no longer tastes like good, and the texture is just plain bad. However, the carrot cake underneath is still delicious.“

The food was outstanding from start to finish ( presentation, flavor profile, texture, all natural and full of character). “Came on a Saturday at 2pm and was a little sad to see that they didn’t have any of the vegan loaves of bread, but did get a baguette (contains egg) and it was realllllly good. Everyone knows that gluten free bread is not the same as gluten-filled bread, but this baguette had a nice amount of crunch to the outside and it was perfect with soup. Wish they had more vegan options available as not everyone in our family can have dairy and eggs. But absolutely will be back to hopefully snag some more gf goodies again soon!“

I know what you’re thinking, “How good can pie really be? Is it really THAT much better than a gas station donut?” Well, I promise you that the baked goods at this establishment are truly exceptional. In fact, we moved almost an hour away and still drive back to use this bakery for special occasions. I only wish their hours of operation were better (after work on weekdays and longer on weekends!) It is on the pricey side, but if you get it once in a while it’s not too bad, otherwise I wouldn’t spend the money to get it every week. My only complaint is to keep in mind what you wear. One of the employees who served us wore really short shorts to the point where a butt cheek was showing. Not a great look for a company. It’s important to be professional and represent a company well.“

Sydney was extremely rude multiple times to me and my mom. I was more upset of how she talked to my mom. Her name was Sydney and we were not the only one she was rude to. “I had the chicken chimichanga and my partner had the shrimp tacos. He tried some of my rice & beans and immediately orders his own side! When we first got there, we were bummed out about no chips and queso… but everything following that seriously makes it worth it, forget the queso! The salsa was amazing as well. The service was awesome, I read somewhere that this place is owned by 3 sisters and you can absolutely tell they own the place. Not only can you tell they are happy to be there, but they really enjoy the restaurant. You’ll see them back there cooking your food before they bring it to you. And there is one ingredient in their food you will never taste at El Rancho Grande or any big name Mexican restaurant… LOVE!! We ate all our food and were definitely full, but it didn’t leave us feeling all gross and lethargic like you do after eating the greasy food at other restaurants. Come show this family owned business some love, you won’t regret it“

“We love this place!!! We've visited it several times and the food has always been great!!! We usually go during Happy Hours because they have lots of specials. This time we had Pork Gyoza, Miso, and the Hajime Shushi/Sashimi combo that comes with the Hajime Roll.“

“You know I don't always go to steakhouses all the time, but I might have to change that after visiting Ruth's. Chris. Honestly, the food is just so good. The prices are definitely eye-watering, but it's definitely to be expected. Plenty of people around you are celebrating something so you can tell it's definitely a restaurant that most people are visiting for special occasions. Honestly, I prefer their food over 6 Smith and even Manny's.

The steaks here are always perfectly cooked, seasoned just right, and absolutely delicious. 10/10

“Fantastic neighborhood spot! It was our first time dining here and we had a great time. The patio was quiet and private, and the staff were very friendly. We ordered the duck taco, mussels, pesto fettuccine with asparagus and a side of fries. We’d order all of it again, but the duck taco was our favorite!

“This is one of the best gluten free and healthy restaurants in the five state area. The food tastes homemade and the dining area has a lot of natural light with big windows and a view of Bde Maka Ska (Lake Calhoun).
My personal favorites are their egg sandwiches on delicious focaccia bread. All the bowls are great too. Their business continues to grow and I’m looking forward to their new Edina store.
