“Everything was obviously freshly prepared with complex flavors, crisp vegetables and tender chicken. Entrees are very generous so one was plenty with an appetizer for two. Our waiter was also very helpful and pleasant. Mai Thai is a hidden gem in Robbinsdale.“

“I am writing this review to say that I miss the frosting that used to be on the carrot cake. For some reason they moved from a beautiful rich cream cheese frosting to a rubbery layer of frosting. I am not sure if it is supposed to be like this but it no longer tastes like good, and the texture is just plain bad. However, the carrot cake underneath is still delicious.“

“My friend and I had an incredible time at Owamni. My compliments to the chef. Truly one of a kind experience. The food was outstanding from start to finish ( presentation, flavor profile, texture, all natural and full of character). As a mom of a toddler, it can be really hard to expect my son to stay sitting while I try to enjoy a coffee with a friend but this place has incredible coffee and food, incredible customer service, and an amazing play area to let the kiddos roam while you enjoy time with a friend!! “Our server was Sandy and she was amazing: prompt, efficient, friendly, and attentive. We were there to celebrate a birthday and got a special short stack of birthday pancakes with a candle. Seating was quick and prompt through the reservation system on a very busy Sunday morning, the manager checked at our table to make sure our dining experience was good, the food was fresh and hot. We usually stop by weekly at other stores nearer to our home, but we happened to be in Plymouth today and enjoyed the cordial staff, fun music and vibes in the store, and the delicious protein bowls we had. I know what you’re thinking, “How good can pie really be? Is it really THAT much better than a gas station donut?” Well, I promise you that the baked goods at this establishment are truly exceptional. In fact, we moved almost an hour away and still drive back to use this bakery for special occasions. I only wish their hours of operation were better (after work on weekdays and longer on weekends!) Sydney was extremely rude multiple times to me and my mom. I was more upset of how she talked to my mom. Her name was Sydney and we were not the only one she was rude to. “I had the chicken chimichanga and my partner had the shrimp tacos. He tried some of my rice & beans and immediately orders his own side! When we first got there, we were bummed out about no chips and queso… but everything following that seriously makes it worth it, forget the queso! The salsa was amazing as well. The service was awesome, I read somewhere that this place is owned by 3 sisters and you can absolutely tell they own the place. Not only can you tell they are happy to be there, but they really enjoy the restaurant. You’ll see them back there cooking your food before they bring it to you. And there is one ingredient in their food you will never taste at El Rancho Grande or any big name Mexican restaurant… LOVE!! We ate all our food and were definitely full, but it didn’t leave us feeling all gross and lethargic like you do after eating the greasy food at other restaurants. Come show this family owned business some love, you won’t regret it“

“Fantastic neighborhood spot! It was our first time dining here and we had a great time. The patio was quiet and private, and the staff were very friendly. We ordered the duck taco, mussels, pesto fettuccine with asparagus and a side of fries. We’d order all of it again, but the duck taco was our favorite!
