“We love coming here for a couple cocktails and burgers after work! I would definitely suggest coming early in the evening as there is typically a large line waiting by the time we head out between 6-7pm.
The mai tais and burgers are a favorite, and they have Wild State cider available which is great, especially since more than one mai tai can be a bit much!

The food is authentic, flavorful, and made with love. The Arepa Pro and Chicken Arepa are some of the best I’ve had, even compared to back home. I ordered a sampling of four drinks and had lunch. Enjoyed the service and the people. So now back in New York, I ordered Norseman whiskey online. I'll be back next year. SKOL!“

“-Vinai MN- My friend and I wanted to try Chef Yia's restaurant due to being homesick and wanting hmong food. We were met with such great service and sat where we could see the work area. Chef Yia was so kind and started us off with a complimentary appetizer, rice Curry balls. We ordered and the food came so fast. As soon as I took a bite, my eyes started to get teary because it tasted like food from home. I started fanning myself to not cry which Chef Yia saw and asked if the food was too spicy. We then started to explain that we were not from MN and were feeling a bit homesick and how the food reminded us of home. Chef Yia then said, here let's do this. He returned with a pot of beef soup that consisted of mushrooms, bamboo shoots, beef and green onion and white rice and shared that this dish was one of those dishes that we would eat at gathering and events. We we so shocked and so at loss with his kindness and compassion. We both took a bite and immediately lighted up. It tasted like my mom's cooking 💓. As we were nearing the end of our meal, Chef Yia told us not to stuff ourselves too full and surprised us with a complimentary dessert which further awed us. We were so lost at words for Chef Yia's kindness, generosity and comfort. We chose the Lava Cake and it was soooo good! I normally don't like sweets but we devoured this 😋. 1000/10 would recommend.“

No matter where you get seated it will feel cramped and you will be really close to your neighbors. The staff was super nice but rarely checked on us, it took an hour to get our first round of drinks BOTH times I’ve been.“

We got a second pizza for free and my sister got a free ice cream sundae. The pizza was amazing and the old fashioned from King Coil was delicious. If you do your research on how to order food and drinks, you will also have a pleasant experience. Will definitely return again when visiting the area!“

The comedy acts were funny, except for the second to last guy, that totally bombed, as part of his act was to call all women bitches. “Cocktails were excellent, especially the Old Fashioned - smokiness was present and very well balanced without being too sweet. Arancini was fantastic, top 3 I’ve ever had. Pork chop was a bit overcooked but the burger and bucatini were top notch. Carrot cake was divine, perfect balance of flavor and not overly sweet.“
