I can not wait to try something else. Let me mention as well it was within an hour of closing and we were welcomed in as if they just opened. (That is so impressive these days.) The price was right, the food was amazing, and the service was so welcoming I felt like I had been going there for years, come to find out they just opened this past May 2022. Panchos really reminded me of a place I went to while in Cabo... Keep up the great work. We will be back sooner than you think cause they are open for breakfast too. If you haven't tried Panchos yet, stop what you are doing and go! Go for Breackfast, lunch or dinner! You will not be disappointed.“

“Had lunch and our table tried multiple food options. One of the crowd favorites was chips and queso (with salsa). One of the best queso’s and salsas I’ve had. I had the walleye tacos (both blackened and breaded - prefer blackened).“

The owner and workers there were so nice and pleasant despite the horror they were living through. I so much hate these gestapo raids on our immigrant communities. “Family was attending a get together at Minneapolis Axe Throwing and afterwards decided to grab a bite. Decided to stop by Sonora Mexican Kitchen just happenstance. WOW. I live for Mexican food and honestly this food was really top of the list. Everyone at the table indicated that the food was the best tasting they have had for a Mexican fare. Not just saying this. I had to think when I’ve had better, and couldn’t really come up with an answer. It was a long drive for us, but I’m going to have to make this trip again. Well done Sonora Mexican Kitchen and Bar! “I wish it was a star point system to review. I usually love britos burrito. The location on Nicollet is really convenient for me. I would probably give it three stars. I always ask for one scoop of rice and they always give me extra. I ask for a little bit of corn and they put a heaping scoop on the one thing that really frustrates me is that when I ask for extra cheese, they put a pinch on and if I ask for more, they get angry and tell me that I’m going to have to pay for it. The service leaves a lot to be desired, but the pricing is good, which is why it is three stars and not five.“

“I truly think this is the best Mexican food in Anoka County! Both locations! Ham Lake location is inside of the BP gas station right off of Constance and 65, you can eat inside or get takeout. They have their own app which makes online ordering a breeze! I feel like this is the best hidden food gem around, I’m assuming people either don’t realize it’s there or are turned off because it’s located inside of a BP. But it’s actually an adorable set up inside the BP and not weird at all :) I give this place 5/5 stars! 🌯🌮💕“

“I enjoyed Masa & Agave, located downstairs in the Hotel Ivy, where I almost lived in a condo above the hotel. It’s in an area of downtown that can get desolate after the workday, which is why I chose not to live there. However, after an event at Orchestra Hall, Masa & Agave was perfect. Gorgeously appointed, Masa comes across as classy, with prices to match. This is not your rowdy taco joint. Service was good, if a bit casual for such an elegant place. My short rib tacos were delicious, juicy, and flavorful. I enjoyed them. Cocktails were okay, but they lacked any originality. That was what I felt overall at Masa. The restaurant lacked an identity and came across as very corporate. If I were within a block and a half, I would return to Masa & Agave, but it wouldn’t be a destination restaurant for me.“

I also enjoyed the colorful tortilla chips which tasted light and not oily. The chicken was tender with a good marinade. The salsas were really good as well.The service was excellent, I was able to order through the self-service ordering screen and take my time to decide. The staff still asked me if I needed any help. The woman working there had very welcoming service and made our experience. I have recommended this place to a few people immediately after trying it and would recommend to everyone who wants super yummy tacos.“

Good thing I always add a bit of salsa to my stuff and check. I love sitting at the bar and trying the 3 different salsas that are available as a help yourself buffet style along with delicious chips. Love the margaritas but now I am spoiled, I tried one with Milagro silver tequila on the rocks. It is excellent! The Columbia Heights locale is my favorite, and I have tried each of the others! I have yet to try the patio in the summertime, so I can't tell you about it. The stained glass windows are amazing! Busy bustling place! I love it! And the staff is excellent! If I want to change an option on the menu, the staff is very accommodating. I would give this place 5 stars! I always take family and friends to La Casita Mexican Restaurant - Columbia Heights, MN when they come to visit!“

“I’d heard this place was known for its incredible carnitas, so I had to see for myself—and it absolutely lived up to the hype.

I ordered three surtido/maciza pork tacos with onions, cilantro, and radish. They asked if I wanted a little extra pork fat on top, and the answer is yes—definitely do it! I also grabbed both the mild and hot salsas.

The tacos came out incredibly fast and were generously loaded with perfectly cooked pork. The first bite was rich, juicy, and packed with flavor. A squeeze of fresh lime and a spoonful of salsa balanced the richness beautifully and brought everything together.

If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful tacos with generous portions and fast service, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!“
