Their menu is always updated with fresh new cocktails and they often bring back some of the previous flavors which we always anxious await. Ordering is easy and drinks are brought directly to your table. Both of their locations are always clean and welcoming and we truly love spending time here with our friends. The bar itself can accommodate probably 25 people. It's very small and intimate. The group of five of us had such a great time. My drink is fantastic.“

It is a pretty pricey menu, but I would recommend it for special occasions.Parking: Street parking is available, but not abundant. You may get lucky and find a spot close to the restaurant.“

“I ordered tonight for carry out and there was a small hiccup (no biggie) with our order they called right away to fix it. Picked up our meatball sub, a Naples pizza, a create your own, and garlic bread. This food was delicious, I’ve never had such a amazing white pizza (no red sauce) in my life. The meatballs were so tender and my picky kid ate all but one! The garlic cheese bread didn’t last long here it’s as good as home made (maybe better). We will definitely return and recommend. I hope next time we can dine it, from what I saw they have a pretty large dining room that can accommodate a nice crowd. The employees were incredibly friendly and warm. “I’ve been here quite a few times, the food and drink are great and so is the service. The only qualm I have is with the rationing of the napkins? You don’t get any at the table, and when you ask they give you 2-3 napkins. I ordered churros to go (so good btw) and was given ice cream in a bag with no spoon. This was formerly The Drinking Horn and they have preformed wonders inside/ It's clean , roomy with new tables plenty of TVs for sports viewing and the best bartenders around especially Ronnie! They have Trivia at 7:30 on Thursday evenings and Karaoke on Friday They pour a respectable drink , offer pizza for purchase or you can bring in outside food. It had a great crust, the cheese and toppings were good, too. It was ok, but you couldn't taste the sauce. I would definitely try again and ask for more sauce.“

“It was the first time having St Louis style ribs. They were fried and burnt to the consistency of charcoal. If that's the way there supposed to be then fine and not for me. The staff was very accommodating and let me switch them out for some dry rubbed smoked ribs and they were good. I also had the brisket and it was very good. I would go back again. Just need to know about the St Louis ribs. Not willing to give up.I was in town again and decided to give this place another try. The Mac- n -cheese, fries, popover, and this time the ribs were excellent. However the brisket was dry and tough. It really should not of been served. I've eaten at a lot of BBQ's joints and Salt + Smoke is not alone. They are all hit or miss.“

“Had a great experience around 6:30pm on Friday night. It was pretty busy with a line to the door, however, the only reason the wait seemed long was because I was hungry and the menu looked so good! When we got to the front counter we were greeted by a nice, very hard working female. Food came quick after we ordered! My husband and I shared the Locoz fries with asada. This was my personal favorite. The fries were nice and crispy (not soggy at all). I loved the pico on the fries as well as their special sauce! Great ratio of steak, cheese, sauce, pico, etc. we also shared three gringo tacos (tinga, pastor, Camaron). My favorite was the pastor and my husband's favorite was the camaron which is shrimp. Beware, these tacos are messy ! Grab lots of napkins. The last thing we ordered was a side of esquites. It wasn't my favorite version of esquites but it was pretty tasty. I think next time I would have topped my tacos with it or tried a different side Next time I want to try either a quesadilla or burrito. They looks AMAZING!! Both big and cheesy!! They also have bottled drinks. I'm not a big beverage fan but this always excites my husband. He got a grapefruit Jarrito (picture of the beverage menu are listed with a picture of the cooler) Parking was hard on a Friday night. We parked across the street in the schnucks parking lot but there is also street parking“

“Stopped by for something to eat. Unbeknownst to me, they had a brunch going. It was 1pm, and I was going in wanting a burger. Since it was brunch, I decided to get the brunch smash. Comes with a sausage pattie, fried egg, and bacon. I made it a double but asked for the second patty to be beef. They sent me two sausage patties instead. They did get the add lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onion right though. Asked how did I want my egg. I replied over easy. It came fried. Other than not getting what I had asked for, the sandwich was crazy good.“

“Coltranes has always been a pretty laid back place. The place has been around since I was kid. During the day it's not real loud or anything. They have 2 pool tables and a few golfing machines. If you're looking for a place to relax, be able to talk without yelling and enjoy some food then this would definitely be a place to check out.“

This visit in particular was on Mardi Gras, which was a great spot to have a couple drinks without actually heading down to Soulard. We sat on the heated patio and had a couple of drinks and were able to chat while still hearing one another. Bartenders are always helpful and friendly, and they have a good selection of beverages. However, seating is available with tables, there's a patio out back. Looks nice but I didn't head out that way. No food(I didn't see any options) but that's OK. The Pub is probably my favorite bar ever, but then again I might be biased as I have many friends and family members that have all frequented the place in the past as well as currently.
