“We had a family Christmas dinner for 22 over the holidays at Cafe Verona. The food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Our incredible server, Andy, was attentive to the needs of the adults, teens, and children at all times! He truly made the special evening a success! Everything was set up early, including items for the children, to keep their attention and maximize the time together as a family. All of the dishes were outstanding, and my personal favorite was the mushroom lover's pasta and the lasagna (for my husband). The appetizers of house made hummus, garlic bread, and calamari were also enjoyed by all! If you have not tried Cafe Verona, give it a whirl. You will not regret the decision. “One of the best Mexican restaurants in KC! We get takeout for family events frequently, and the food is consistently delicious. 👌 Our family likes the steak chimichangas, chicken fajitas, tacos, and any of their nachos. The rice and beans are fantastic, as well!

The building and interior could use an update, but the service is decently fast and respectful. The manager at this location is great and cares about his guests. We love El Maguey!“

“I really hate to complain. Pizza is usually hot and fresh, however.. the pizza is sooo greasy! I thought it was due to the type of crust or how long it was cooked..and perhaps having just pepperoni on it. The breadsticks are hit and miss on texture.
This visit, they only had zero sugar soda. In everything! Bummer! Everything was so greasy even my 5 year old complained. I hope theres a way to resolve this. Caesers is my quick go to place. Especially since its so affordable.“
