“One of, if not the, best bar in KC. Spent almost an entire 8 hours with some friends out in their patio and it was a really amazing experience. I've gone many times now since I live so close, and my boyfriend swears that their burger has overtaken town topic for best burger in kc, while I think it's a close second. The service is amazing, the patio is gorgeous and so is the inside, the drinks are amazing, and so is the food. The 70s theme is perfect for me and my bf as well, since we are lovers of all things 70s. All around a truly incredible bar, I would definitely recommend!“

We just wandered in with No expectation as I actually fancied a Sour Beer...but It can be Always Gin o clock. Right? Little did I know was that the best places for It. Found a new gem on my KC list as well as a nice place for my Friend who lives there. Met the Owner by accident who was very approachable and Michael was delighted that I 'm from Germany and made It into his Bar. “We went to Muni for the first time and it wont be the last.

The setting is vibrant and trendy with an extremely friendly and helpful staff.

The entire menu looked amazing but we settled on the Rice Bowl and the Kow Soi Beef. Both were unique and delicious.

The Kow soi beef is in a delicious coconut curry sauce and delicious noodles.

The Rice Bowl is loaded with braised pork, pickled onions and a delicious spicy sauce to drizzle over it all.

My wife had the Cock and Bull cocktail and said it was delicious.

This is definitely an asian fusion restaurant that you will want to try.“

They serve the classics but also have such unique drinks & flavors as well - not a huge food menu but the appetizers are delish! “Fun local dive bar. No food but they have a few snacks for purchase, sometimes coffee cake next to the free coffee station and a popcorn machine (not always in use). Couple dart boards in the back. a gold game and a gambling card game too on the bar. Covered deck in the back. Not a lot of options for beers, but good specials and fair prices in general. - The owners/staff are always so kind and welcoming
- We have tried new dishes each time and the food is always incredible
- Prices are reasonable and you get a lot of food, enough for a second meal at home in my experience

- The atmosphere is peaceful and the lighting is not too bright or too dim

“I came, I made a request for a song for karaoke night at Missie B's in Kansas City, Missouri, it's a gay bar. I waited almost two hours. I was invisible. At the end of the night I asked her to take my name off the list. My Uber arrived. The karaoke DJ sang three times after I made my request. I was the only Latino who asked to sing at an otherwise empty bar. Latinos are invisible in Kansas City, I guess. But being shamed by a fellow black person was too much. Dorian kicked me out. I'm also black. He threatened to call the cops on me, after explaining why I felt unseen. As an attorney who is black and Latino that was deeply offensive. As a visitor from out of town, I have never been made to feel so unwelcome. I will never come back here again. If you know me you know me. Dorian calls the cops on Latinos. We are not seen here and we are not welcome. Even when we are educated and come with grace and respect.“
