“I’ve heard of Equal Minded in the past, but recently a friend hosted an event there and it was great! The space was easy to set up in, the coffee and snacks were great & the customer service. Since then, if I am in the area and I need to get work done, it’s becoming more of a place to pop into. The more I get to know about what they offer and the small businesses they support, the more I enjoy becoming a customer there. I also really like that they have some Sugar Free options & I really like their Honey Lavender Matcha too!“

“What can I say, THE BEST COFFEE IN TOWN. I absolutely bring our friends and family here. I loved this place so much that when I found out they hosted large events inside their spacious venue I had to book it for our wedding reception! They handled it with the utmost care and all our needs were met in a timely and courteous manner.“

“We walked about 10 minutes to get here because it was the highest-rated coffee spot nearby and it was absolutely worth the walk. The coffee was fantastic, the blueberry scones were delicious, and there were so many tempting options it was hard to choose just one.

A special shout-out to the barista who kindly remade my friend’s coffee after he accidentally spilled it — such great service and hospitality. We’re visiting from Indiana for a pickleball conference, and this was the perfect way to start the day in downtown KC. Highly recommend!“

“I came to the Cafeton Y Perreo event here yesterday and it was so much fun! Music was divine, everybody was having fun, and the service was lovely. “This record store/ coffee shop is a rare gem. We were blown away by the selection of vinyl from all different genres. We didn't have coffee, so no review about that, but the coffee bar area looked clean and welcoming. The owner took the time to help us select a record from a local band. We're from out of town and wanted to take a gift back for a friend. He asked us a few questions and helped us make the selection. He knew a lot about the local music scene and was friendly.“

“What an amazing coffee shop. The coffee was some of the best I’ve had in the KC area. They roast onsite.

Atmosphere is great and just off the Plaza. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Plenty of space to sprawl out and get some work done or sit and talk in a very comfy sofa or chairs.“

“I met a friend for coffee here yesterday. What a great experience. We each had 2 drinks and stayed to visit for 2.5 hours! We each had a latte and a tea. Both were great! “Large book collection, free wi-fi (even in the oarking lot which is huge). This library is frequented by families with small children and toddlers, but generally the areas designated for kids are well separated from the main open floor plan, so other than when those families are arriving or departing, it's relatively quiet. The large building seems newer or recently remodeled. There are several tables with in-floor electrical receptacles (to plug in laptop or device charger, for example). I've been a few times and it was easy to read ir study because of the quiet atmosphere (ya know, like a library). There are family restrooms on the east end of the building, and a nursing room with upholstered chairs and a solid door for privacy; and 'men's and women's' restrooms on the west end. All three times I've been, it was well staffed and there are several self service kiosks. A great library just north of the Liberty shopping center area on what appears to be a historic property with manicured grounds.“

We like it so much, and the people who work there are amazing they helped up to change few things in drink and they even redone the matcha that’s great customer service. “I have tried 5 different coffee shops versions of shaken brown sugar cinnamon lattes and scooters has been by far my favorite tasting. Additionally,. My daughter loves their blueberry muffins so we love to have mommy daughter dates there. And thanks to some of the cool things they do we now have matching scooters crock charms on our shoes and a twirly scooters straw. Lastly, the employees there are so sweet and amazing at this location. Definitely some of the best customer service. 100/10 recommend this location.“
