Since then, if I am in the area and I need to get work done, it’s becoming more of a place to pop into. “I try to explore local eateries and coffee shops whenever I’m on work trips, and I have to hand it to Fitti’s. The atmosphere is so homey and cozy, the coffee was amazing and I also tried one of their brownies - everything was fantastic. The day I visited was kind of rainy, so the vintage lights glowing and the soft music playing was reminiscent of when I watch those “coffee shop jazz” videos on YouTube. I’m excited to return!“

“I stumbled upon this little shop after begging the GPS to find the closest coffee shop on my way to work. Being greeted by a calm, sweet, warm eyed pup and great coffee was just what I needed. I will definitely be making this a regular stop. The coffee is great (I had an iced mud pit) and the biscuits and gravy were the perfect comfy breakfast! Highly recommend checking this place out!“

“We walked about 10 minutes to get here because it was the highest-rated coffee spot nearby and it was absolutely worth the walk. The coffee was fantastic, the blueberry scones were delicious, and there were so many tempting options it was hard to choose just one.

A special shout-out to the barista who kindly remade my friend’s coffee after he accidentally spilled it — such great service and hospitality. We’re visiting from Indiana for a pickleball conference, and this was the perfect way to start the day in downtown KC. Highly recommend!“

“This record store/ coffee shop is a rare gem. We were blown away by the selection of vinyl from all different genres. We didn't have coffee, so no review about that, but the coffee bar area looked clean and welcoming. The owner took the time to help us select a record from a local band. We're from out of town and wanted to take a gift back for a friend. He asked us a few questions and helped us make the selection. He knew a lot about the local music scene and was friendly.“

“I adore Cafe Corazon, and am genuinely shocked that I haven’t reviewed them yet.

I have held office hours at the Westport location since they opened and with years of history behind us, I can definitively say that Cafe Corazon is one of the best coffee experiences to be had in Kansas City.

I say experiences for a reason. Friends, I don’t even like coffee.

Of course, they have a stellar regular menu with great coffee drinks. Seasonal menus are inventive and I’m partial to anything Manzanita flavored in autumn because they put these little cinnamon apple crisps on top and it’s delicious. The coffee flight is fun to order with a friend but for me, the Dulce de Leche Latte, iced with extra drizzle is just *chefs kiss*. Occasionally I’ll add an extra shot if I need the jolt and it’s incredible.

Once, Alejandro saw me on my way in and started making my drink before I hit the door, so I had it in hand by the time I hit the register - which leads me to another thing Cafe Corazon does extraordinarily well. Their team is always so friendly and service-oriented. I love it!

They offer a comprehensive Yerba Mate menu, and it’s fun to overhear staff explain the history and ritual to folks who’ve never tried it before. The empanadas (made by Pan Caliente, a local Argentinian bakery) and accompanying chimichurri sauce is out of this world.

The artwork is colorful annd vibrant and I love when they decorate for holidays. They have a gorgeous ofrenda every year for Dia de los Muertos. The sense of community and Latin American culture that shows up so intentionally in every detail is just as warming as the coffee. That’s why I say experience.

Cafe Corazon has tasty coffee but it’s so much more. This location is a cozy little haven on Westport Rd. and I’m so happy to see them continue to grow and influence the KC coffee landscape.“

“What an amazing coffee shop. The coffee was some of the best I’ve had in the KC area. They roast onsite.

Atmosphere is great and just off the Plaza. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Plenty of space to sprawl out and get some work done or sit and talk in a very comfy sofa or chairs.“

“My husband and I come to this location at least 3 times a week. We’ve had nothing but great experiences with them. The staff is never not friendly and our order is always exactly what we expect. There’s usually never a wait in line or for our order either.
On one occasion there was a hair trapped just under the lid and the ladies immediately apologized and replaced my whole drink.
Yesterday I was here and tried to use a free drink reward but unfortunately their system wasn’t working and my bank card declined so Alexandra gave me my drink on the house!

“Large book collection, free wi-fi (even in the oarking lot which is huge). This library is frequented by families with small children and toddlers, but generally the areas designated for kids are well separated from the main open floor plan, so other than when those families are arriving or departing, it's relatively quiet. The large building seems newer or recently remodeled. There are several tables with in-floor electrical receptacles (to plug in laptop or device charger, for example). I've been a few times and it was easy to read ir study because of the quiet atmosphere (ya know, like a library). There are family restrooms on the east end of the building, and a nursing room with upholstered chairs and a solid door for privacy; and 'men's and women's' restrooms on the west end. All three times I've been, it was well staffed and there are several self service kiosks. A great library just north of the Liberty shopping center area on what appears to be a historic property with manicured grounds.“

We like it so much, and the people who work there are amazing they helped up to change few things in drink and they even redone the matcha that’s great customer service.
