“My boyfriend and I visited for our anniversary. our service was phenomenal, cocktails tasty, and the was in our top favorite meals we have ever eaten! He had the Pork Chop and I had Prime Rib! Very Good!!“

“I remember hearing about this place years ago but never went. It popped up on my FYP on TikTok so I decided to give it a try. My family and I drove down on a Saturday around 12:30. Not sure where it was exactly, we ended up driving by it and having to turn around. There is only street parking available so we parked 1/2 a block up and walked down. We weren’t the only ones who did. The steady flow of people coming in and out was a lot. Good for business. They only accept cash, which is good to know beforehand. We ordered the famous pork tenderloin, a cheeseburger and fries. Everything is alacarte. Which is also good to know beforehand.
The tenderloin had good flavor but was fried very hard. My husband enjoyed his but said it was too spicy, he had the hot sauce. Overall, it was good. Glad we finally tried it.“

“Started our experience at the Crossroads’ Percheron Rooftop Bar and ended it at XR. The atmosphere was the ultimate standout, but the food and service were still good! I ordered the Shroomer Boomer, and the goat cheese herb mix on that is yum! The dining room filled up to near capacity despite it being a weeknight, and we even had a very chill celebrity sighting. A very cool spot to feel metropolitan for a day! Only cons were the pebble ice that came in my cocktail and that parking can be somewhat limited if you’re not a hotel guest.“

“So it is Monday July 14 and we just left Joe’s BBQ and my wife told me that my BBQ is better the Joe’s any-day. Sunday night we went to Q39 and wow what a difference. My wife and I both had the 3 meat and sides of beans,and vegetables. Every single thing we had was great. Chicken(white meat) had good flavor but chicken is chicken. Sausage was full of flavor with the peppers. Ribs were fall off the bone and didn’t need sauce. The pulled pork was really soft and melted in the mouth good. So at this point I have to say if you are in Kansas City for BBQ go to Q39 last because nothing compares the it at least in Kansas City anyway.“

The "manager" was supposed to call me for a refund and that never happened. I will never be back or ever recommend. “We had a fantastic dinner at Blue Bird Bistro on Monday 9/16. We sat in the bar area and had the Bartender as our Server. She made us *perfect* dirty martinis, and recommended some excellent dishes and wine. We loved the salmon appetizer and the desserts most of all. The desserts were huge, and leftovers were enjoyed this morning with coffee!“

“Aside from parking, this place is really great. I love their pho and their fried rice. I have been here twice, and the second time I brought my friend from out of state, and he enjoyed the curry and the Vietnamese iced coffee.

I also have never had a restaurant make me feel so special on my birthday - they provided us with complimentary sparking cider, a small tasting of one of their appetizers AND the most amazing dessert I have ever had. Plus there was a birthday card and confetti on the table. This was my 3rd time here and all 3 times the food was simply divine! Our waiter was exceptionally attentive. The manager surprised us with chocolate covered strawberries, our table decorated with roses, and gave me a rose! Our hostess made us a special two year plate with a delicious raspberry sauce. I can’t recommend this place enough!“

“My husband and I had the best experience at this restaurant. The food was good as always. During our meal my husband had to use the rest room. He has some dementia and can’t walk very well. Unfortunately we were sitting at a table which was on the complete opposite side of the restaurant from the rest room. The server noticed our dilemma and said she would guide him over to the restroom. She was back immediately. I said, “Oh, he won’t be able to find his way back to this table.” The server told me not to worry about it. The restaurant manager had taken him over and would wait and bring him back.
