“In town for a tournament for my daughter's hockey team and had a smashburger and a cold beer and let me tell you it was awesome! It is kind of pricey but you are paying for convenience. I don't mind paying extra money for quality food It was great“

“"From the moment I stepped into The Crossing in Clayton, I knew I was in for a remarkable dining experience. The exceptional service began with Sunny, who skillfully handled my reservation, and continued with David's warm welcome at the door. My server, Joshua, was simply outstanding, ensuring that my visit was nothing short of perfect. What truly set this experience apart was the meticulous attention to dietary restrictions for both me and my guests. It's rare to find a restaurant that genuinely cares and accommodates with such grace. The meal was unforgettable, leaving me talking about it for weeks. But the cherry on top was a chance encounter with Joseph on the sidewalk days later. His genuine follow-up about my experience showcased a level of care and knowledge that is unparalleled in the industry. The Crossing in Clayton is not just a restaurant; it's an experience where the staff goes above and beyond, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking culinary excellence and exceptional service."“

“We were in attendance for Monthly Girlfriend luncheon. Only 1 of us 4 had visited Hendel's in the distant past and she chose the restaurant. You don't see a lot of truly warm and cozy restaurants nestled within the neighborhood that's prospered. The food was good and service was excellent and as we have visited restaurants month after months, it's obvious that cooks aren't same. There is space for indoor & outdoor eating with limited parking. Nice afternoon luncheon experience ?Parking: Free parking in rear where u have a short walk from vehicle into establishment, but if full being that it's sitting in residential area, one can park on side street, no meters, & without inconveniencing residents.Kid-friendliness: Kids were running around where we sat indoors but no one seemed disturbed by their antics ?“

“My wife and I ate there for the 1st time and we'll definitely be back soon! The slinger brought me back to my college days eating at Courtesy, although this place is a heck of a lot nicer! 10 out of 10 I'd recommend to anybody!!“

“OH MY GOD THE STUDS TASTES BETTER ON DRAFT. If you love Fitz soda then you HAVE to come here. The BBQ pulled pork was delicious and the floats are the real attraction. Would give food a 3.5 if I could but typing on a phone so yeah. It's not that the food is bad. It's just doesn't quite live up to the price point in my opinion“

“We sat outside for lunch, cute patio, comfortable and inviting. The server was very good, we didn't have to wait for anything, drinks were very good the Hanger steak & fries was the absolute best Hanger steak I've ever had, the chimichuri was a great compliment to the steak. My husband had the Blackened Chicken Alfredo it was amazing, the sauce had the best flavor and the chicken was cooked perfectly. We definitely will be back!!“

“Katie was ex exceptional. She tomed her visits to the table well, and anticipated refils without disrupting the conversation. She answered questions with ease. Her timing was impeccable. She was attentive without hovering. Her service embodied true caring about the dining experience of her guests. The kitchen staff was also excellent. “The real note to make here is that our server was absolutely outstanding, she was so pleasant, knowledgeable, kind and attentive to our table... Probably the best server / waitress I have encountered in a very long time. She was a delight. The food was very good. The only thing I had some pretty mixed emotions about was that we were asked to leave after 75 mins due to an incoming reservation. We had a reservation at 5:00 and there was a table at the bar we moved to to finish our cocktails... the couple that was with us were a little more bothered than I was over it, but I would probably still go again. It was a overall a good experience.“

“Just found out about Timothy's restaurant and love it. The staff and food are amazing. They worked hard at wanting to please us and give us a wonderful evening. I had the dinner special being offered that was a pasta with morel mushrooms. So good. The salad I ordered was the house salad that was a variety of unique lettuces and vegetables with goat cheese and I think a buttermilk dressing. So good. There was Asiago bread on the table. We stayed late talking and while having wine with our friends, I watched the staff work setting up the tables for the next day and was impressed with their professionalism on how the table was set up with precision. Everything was lined up on its mark. Only carrying and handling the water & wine glasses at the bottom. Cloth napkins. Etc. Everything you would expect from fine dining and a five star restaurant. We had a cocktail before dinner that was a special offered by the bartender, it had fresh fruit & herbs on top, very good. The wine section was outstanding and enjoyed a couple of bottles in our group. Highly recommend this intimate place for its food, drink, service and atmosphere. Really a hidden gem. We will be telling our friends and will go back often.“

“We stayed at the Cheshire hotel and were fortunate to have Basso on the premises! We met a friend here the first night of our stay. The restaurant is in the basement. The atmosphere was inviting with gas lit wall lights, a center bar with booths and high tops. Autumn was a wonderful server. She was so pleasant and informative. We really enjoyed having her as our server. Happy hour is from 4 to 6. We tried the fried meatballs, which were great. The lemon ravioli and the shrimp pasta dish were both delicious. Prices were reasonable. When you dine, the food taste and quality are top priority, but when the food is phenomenal and the service and atmosphere are just as good, it makes the experience memorable. We ended up returning on our second night! Julie was our server and we really enjoyed her, too. She was helpful and interested in our satisfaction! We tried the Brussel sprouts, an heirloom salad with delicious bread. Our entrees were the butcher steak and the burger. The steak was wood fired and super tender! The burger was delicious. The fries and shishito peppers were very good. We highly recommend this hidden gem and thank Autumn and Julie for making our stay in St. Louis so memorable! Oh, try the Secret Door specialty drink, a next level Old Fashioned“

“We had an amazing dinner tonight at YaYa’s! The sea scallops were exquisite and are the best we’ve had in St. Louis. The salmon salad and gnocchi were delectable, as were the cocktails. The icing on the cake was being served by the one and only, Andy Samberg!! I can’t believe he works here! The service was amazing as was his comedic nature! Everything about this place was top notch.!! We absolutely will be back! BEST.NIGHT. EVER!! ☺️“

“We realize it was Valentine's Day, so that may have been the culprit here. But... we were encouraged to order all our courses up front, which we won't do again. Each subsequent course arrived long before we were finished with the previous one, leading to a crowded table and a sense of being rushed, which wasn't what we were seeking for a VD meal.... Food delicious, wait staff lovely, all else good. But timing of the courses was oblivious to the pace of consumption.“

“Visited Bar Louie on a Tuesday with my 19 year old son. We both enjoyed our meal as well as the service from our waiter. He looks like “Post Malone” lolI had a mushroom & asparagus flatbread and my son had a four-cheese flatbread. I ordered a happy hour Martini that my waiter recommended…WAKE UP CALL!It was delicious and perfect because I asked my waiter to recommend a drink that wasn’t too sweet. He nailed it! Want to go back and have another one! This Bar Louie is right in the middle of Beale Street which is a great environment with a variety of great places to eat, drink & shop!“

“Friday lunch was delicious. The atmosphere is lovely and refined. The Peppe’s and spinach salads were very good. The entrees of veal piccata and grilled halibut were excellent as well. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra music was a wonderful addition to the experience. I can’t wait to return in spring when I can dine in their outdoor garden.“

Wish I had gotten the bowl it was so good. I'll know better next time to get the bowl. Plus we shared an order of potato skins which were also very good. Highly recommed their food and service.“

“Cobalt is a very unique experience. The drinks were incredible. You can tell they put a lot of care in the development of the cocktails. The food was really good, but what I loved the most is that she allowed us to go at our own pace. We never felt rushed. We will definitely be going back.“

“Good food and good drinks. The outdoor patio gives a ton of privacy and plenty of shade from the sun. Easy access and easy to get to; right off the interstate. It's a kid friendly bar and grill which is appreciated for those of us with kids.“

“Winslow's Table absolutely deserves 5 stars. One of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had; eggs cooked perfectly, crunchy hash browns and bacon, fresh tortilla and the perfect amount of heat in the hot sauce. Espresso had a nice layer of crema, smooth, no acidity. Very friendly staff and nice seating indoors and outdoors.“

“Ice & Fuel is my go-to spot for what I feel is the best burger in STL. The cooked-to-order freshness is outstanding. With fresh, crisp vegetables and sides, it's hard to beat. If your cardiologist is more forgiving than mine, get a side of onion rings! Drinks are cheaper than most places and the pours are perfect. The staff is always courteous and attentive. Frequent visits and you'll be remembered - that's a great part of going here. My one complaint: It is loud. Very loud. Between 5 and 7 you're probably not going to have a few cocktails and catch up with friends. If yelling people is your thing, you'll love it! Overall Ice & Fuel is a great, underrated beer and burger joint. Check it out!“

“Last minute decision for a quick dinner. Service was great and the meal was as well. Double smash burger cooked perfect and the Buffalo chicken wrap with house chips were great as well. Not very busy this evening but there are many TVs with different sports. Also had the fried pickles and the chipotle ranch dipping sauce was yummy.“
