“OMG. We just had one of the best burgers EVER. 🍔🔥😍 Tay’s Burger Shack in North Kansas City — how have we lived here 12 years and never tried this place?!? Grass-fed beef smash burgers. Perfectly seasoned hand-cut fries. And don’t even get me started on the Sriracha ketchup. 🔥 It’s a tiny spot with awesome retro vibes, but the flavor? HUGE. 👏 Burgers come out fast, even during a packed lunch rush. Absolutely worth it. We’re already planning our next trip back. Pro tip: Go hungry. And get the fries. “This place is a hidden gem. Walking by it you would never guess this was inside! A great day sitting bar, regular takes and high tops. Service was the best part of it all and that says a lot! This was top two for Breaded Pork Tenderloins in my life! The meat was the perfect thickness, the breading was crispy and DID NOT TASTE LIKE FRYER OIL! The Sloppy Joe had a very good taste and spice! The Beer Battered Fries were very good as well.“

“Amazing BBQ joint in NKC. The atmosphere is perfectly BBQ, wooden tables, BBQ theme decor, and almost a picnic feel. The tables are set with their 3 sauces (regular, spicy, and their take on a Carolina style), plus smoked ketchup. We tried the two meat platter: sliced sausage, burnt ends, Buffalo slaw, burnt end chili, plus Texas toast; and the brisket sandwich, which is my go to on a first visit. Everything was amazing! The brisket was sliced thin, not too thin, and not fatty at all. The burnt end chili was so full of flavor, and the slaw/beans were great. Hawg Jaw is definitely going in our rotation.“

“We went here three times yesterday. Yes, three times. We were at an event around the corner and were able to walk over. We ate at 5 of the venders. All were fabulous. Mushroom burger, paneer wrap, avocado toast, curry fries, focaccia, street corn, and ice cream. All the staff were so kind and engaging. It was easy to find many GF options too. Just wish there would have been more heater lamps since it was cold.“

“This brewery is a hidden gem in North Kansas City! The Big Rip Brewing Company has a fantastic selection of craft beers, and the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We love the atmosphere and the fact that we can bring our own food. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!“

“I was lucky enough to host my company Christmas party in the popup holiday bar this year. I CANNOT say enough great things about the venue, food, drinks and staff! Everything was incredible and such a great value! The staff was on point. From the beginning Alexa, the event coordinator, and Adam, the general manager, made the whole process so seamless and amazing. We barely lifted a finger and all of our guests were blown away by how beautiful and fun everything was! We will 100% be having our Christmas party here every year from now on. Thank you Adam and staff for your hospitality! You made the event one to remember!“

“Ate at the Shawnee location and it was awesome! Fast service AND delicious food. The owners are so friendly. My husband tried the smothered burrito bowl and I had the No tortilla burrito bowl. They were good size portions and a fair price. I'll be a regular!“

“I really enjoyed myself. It’s Saturday afternoon and a really kool vibe. Customer service was awesome from the very start entering the restaurant until leaving. I’ll be back tomorrow for the Chiefs game. My server was McKenzie and there was a David who ran the food. He went beyond the call of duty and made sure I had all that I needed. It was my first time and won’t be the last. I did not feel any racist vibes. Just good eating and kool conversation. My new pizza spot🥰
