“Enjoyed a variety of Nigiri! The freshest I’ve ever had in this area! The fish literally melted in my mouth! Wagu A5 hot rocks was pretty amazing as well! We also enjoyed a Tokyo sunrise, forest of ariake, and a lychee martini! Each cocktail was well made! It was a lovely dinner. Can’t wait to come back.“

Server Astrid did a great job thoughout the meal; personable, quality checks, tbl manicured, drinks refilled. Food temps and quality great! “Hemingways staff were very kind, professional 😀 the starters/appetizers were by far my favorite 😍 they had flavor and fed a family of 7. We had there alligator, duck BBQ sauce Jalapeño poppers, fried pickles so thinly sliced,fryed i loved that!,the fish dip was to die for. The bison sliders 🤌The new England clam chowder creamy perfection 😋 the shrimp tacos tastes pretty good.the salmon had a thick glaze that was much too sweet for my husband's pallet.one downside my water and dr both tastes like chlorine.“

“This visit my husband and I got the made at the table guacamole(delicious!), ceviche with shrimp and octopus (also delicious) and a shrimp quesedilla. Ingredients are fresh and flavors blend perfectly. Service was great. Music could have been more of a background sound than the overwhelming sound it was but a quiet meal is over-rated anyway. LOL.“

“My husband and I celebrated our 43rd Anniversary at Char last night. Everything was wonderful, in my opinion!! My steak was cooked as requested since I'm on a low sodium diet. The Char salad was so much better than I expected! Our server, Justin, did over and beyond to make our dinner a great time.“

“I have never been so impressed by an owner. I posted a poor review yesterday. It was our first time eating here and I will just say we were disappointed. I thought that I was out $50 and wouldn't go back. BUT WAIT, THIS IS A GOOD REVIEW!!! Less than one hour after posting my review the owner reached out me personally and apologized for our first experience. He claimed that it was not up to his standards after he say the pictures I posted. He did not berate me or make me feel like a bad person for sharing my review. All he asked was for me to come back tonight for a new meal that he would pay for so that we could see what his food was REALLY like. GUYS. This food was phenomenal. We got fried catfish, perfectly battered and golden. Fried black mussels, my husband is from the east coast and devoured them. I got the bang bang shrimp and it was SO GOOD. The lobster mac? So creamy, so cheesy, just melted in the mouth. He also threw in a black pudding, which I had never tried before....let's just say that this is now going to be one of my go-to craving foods 🤣 All of our food was fresh, seasoned, and well prepared. A HUGE thank you to the owner. You have gained some lifetime customers!“

Ordered medium, it was well done. Could've had some more flavor to. I don't like to send food back and also didn't want to complain as we were with another couple. Fry's are great btw. Will go back and try again. It's also very hard to find someone that can cook a good steak honestly.“

“Went for dinner on a Wednesday, early in the evening. It was fairly quiet so it was a relaxing environment. Blake was our server, he did a fantastic job start to finish. He was attentive and made sure we did not go without anything.
Next time we are back we will be asking to be sat in his section.

“The food was not that great but the lady at the window was super nice. You can tell she wasn't back in the kitchen. Step up your game. I haven't been to Captain D's for a while for a reason. Not much has changed. Food should be hot in the middle of lunch hour at least.“

“This was the best American Chinese food I’ve ever had. The sesame chicken was big chunks of real chicken with light breading. Also the hot and sour soup had actually mustard greens in it! and the soup was not too thickened with cornstarch. it was light and fresh. Good, nice people. Their prices are very good too!“
