The ceremony was held on the covered patio space and the reception in the Luxe Room which is gorgeous! The homemade food was delicious and the staff were all so friendly and fun. We were able to borrow almost all of our decor from their closet which was an added bonus. We are so happy we chose Grbic!”

She gave us enough time to settle in so we could make our choices. Rob had a Kona Wave draft, and I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Bailee brought us bread made, and baked on The Hill with great quality olive oil, and herbs for dipping. Rob ordered the lasagna, and I opted for the Tutti de Mare with seafood, garlic, butter, and olive oil. My dinner was delicious, and made with freshly made pasta, and a perfect mix of perfectly cooked wild caught seafood of mussels,shrimp, clams, and squid. Rob's lasagna also featured freshly made pasta sheets, Anthonino's red sauce, sausage, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese. I tasted it, and it's your pick here if you love lasagna. Homemade taste that brought me back to my grandmother's and my mother's tables. 🥰❤️ I also felt welcomed, and comfortable as soon as I walked through the door. “Bartolinos South is our favorite nice restaurant. Not only is the food consistently wonderful but they always work to please you. We celebrate all special occasions there. Recently we reserved their front room which holds a max of 16, I believe. They went out of their way to make the setting perfect (even bringing in a small table for our use). Our waiter, Karen, was discreet in providing us perfect service without interrupting our shared conversation/memories as we were toasting a dear friend on her birthday. I can’t say enough about how flawless they made our luncheon. Bartolinos will remain our favorite not only for the quality of the food but for their personal attention.”

The food was so delightful and definitely Italian authentic! Homemade noodles, sauce from scratch, delicious wine, high quality meats….the list goes on. The only problem now is I’m 1,000 miles away with no hope of ever eating it again. Trattoria Marcella…I love you! I’ve been thinking about you! And I wish I could go BACK! Highly recommend. “I went to Pizzeoli last night with a group of friends and had an amazing dining experience. We started off with the Deep Fried Chanterelles and Chili-kissed Garlic Knots - the chantrellles were delicious and came with a chili ranch sauce that I would love bottled for home use. The garlic knots were a cut above your normal pizza place fare - melted in my mouth and garlic to butter proportions were perfectly balanced. It should be noted that their drink menu is extensive (along with their pizza menu - so many great options!). I chose the Athletic Cerveza - a great Non-alcoholic beer that ranks as a personal fav. I also like that Pizzeoli had multiple NA options as a non-drinker. On to the main course - my group chose the Andy (a current special with white sauce and mushrooms), the Lumberjack Snack (pep and bacon on red sauce) and the Meatball pizza (as recommended per their chef - meatballs on white sauce!). All three were delicious and cooked to perfection - the right amount of bubbles in the perfectly thin curst. I kept trying to choose a favorite and couldn't decide - would personally recommend a white sauce pizza but the red was also awesome! The grand finale was a banana split dessert pizza and ice cream sandwiches. A hot dessert pizza with the perfect cool toppings, I'd stop in just for an after meal treat some time. The ice cream sandwiches were delectable and fun to share with the table too. The atmosphere of Pizzeoli transported me to a simpler time when going to a neighborhood pizza place meant a friendly staff, unique decorations (check out the light shades over the tables!) and quality craftsmanship. A new favorite - highly recommend!”

“Ok, here’s the thing… I love food. And when I say I love food, you might think I’m a huge person or a food critic or a chef or just a dramatic fan. Well, I am actually an artist, and I… I can tell you in no uncertain terms, that the food we received was *high art.* I don’t mean the kind of pretentious high art food that is served in tiny portions and so beautiful that you almost don’t want to eat it. I mean that it was masterfully created—flavorful, textured to perfection, filling, and lamentable *only* in that I wish I’d had room for more. We started with the stuffed mushroom appetizer—which I’ll admit is not usually my favorite, but my wife generally loves—served upon a sprinkle of arugula and a slashed drizzle of balsamic glaze. Imma tell ya… I like stuffed mushrooms now. My wife ordered an entrée of eggplant Parmesan—one that she doesn’t care to make often for herself only because (and I’m quoting), “It’s a pain in the a$$ to cook.” I ordered linguine Pomodoro with added shrimp and had the steamed mussels appetizer served with my entrée, so that I could add them in (as I *do* love a tutto mare). Since my wife’s entrée was one of her favorites, and I don’t generally care for it, I left her to it, concentrating on my own. I shucked all the mussels and strained their accompanying shallots and bacon into my linguine leaving the garlic and cilantro pesto behind for bread dipping. OH [*clap*clap*clap*]—I forgot to mention the bread. They served a fantastic mini loaf of the softest bread topped with caramelized onions alongside fresh grated Parmesan in olive oil. Upon our finishing it off, I asked for a second helping. Back to the entrée… My first actual bite was of the mussels, and that bite was fantastic. Then I had one of the shrimp… and… here’s the thing… I am a poet, and I also write children’s books, so when I tell you that I simply do not have a superlative sufficient to describe the shrimp, you know I’m being serious. It was warm, seasoned, and snappy as shrimp should be, but it gave me pause—as Anton Ego in Ratatouille. * First, doubt—that I had experienced something so specifically wonderful before * Then, a quick scan from childhood to now for confirmation * And lastly, the comfort that can only come from those happiest memories of childhood—Christmas mornings on receiving more than you could ever have hoped for, Halloween nights’ preparations for what giggles and terrors were to come, and burrito-you ensconced in soft blankets straight from the dryer Then of course, the rest of the dish, twirled and slurped—not too quickly… every bite a confirmation and yet still a revelation. Here again, my only lament that I must see a portion of it boxed to leave room for dessert. And… dessert. Oh, boy… Seeing all of the items, my wife and I—in celebration of our 26th anniversary—decided on the sampler. Listen up, folks: flourless chocolate torta, crème custard napoleon, and gooey butter cake. JFC are you serious? Every bite more sumptuous—more scrumptious than the last. Every bit a reassurance that I will return. Our server, Chelsea, was commendable not only for her menu knowledge and sense of humor, but it’s not for nothing that she was absolutely on top of it with regard to my tea refills (which were many, as our dinner took place after a dehydratingly-busy workday for me). We will definitely be returning to Eleven Eleven, whereupon I intend to try a few different items, my palate then flooded with new sensations—new wonders… my only lament that I will not ever have that “first time experience” again.”

“I have been there many times, and I have always received great service from all the waitresses. Carolina and Luisa will make you feel welcome and brighten your day. I've been through most of their menu and even asked them to pick a meal they thought was the best for me, and I was happily surprised at how wonderful it was. When they first opened, I had a going-away party for a friend with 12 people, and they could not have been more accommodating. Sidenote: if you've not had the choriqueso dip, you are in for a treat.”

“When I walked in, I realized the place was packed, but we were hoping the wait wasn't too long, they quoted 45 minutes, which was a little too long for us. There was 5 of us and we decided to sit at the bar. And I'm sure glad we did. We had a bartender, I forgot her name, but she had purple hair, she was the absolute best. Not only did she make amazing drinks, she made sure our food came out right and hot. She also entertained us the whole time we were there, by engaging in conversations. You don't see that very much these days. If there was a word better than perfect, that's how I would describe it. I'll definitely be sitting at the bar more often.”

Only shortcoming was the glass of red wine; it was apparently from a bottle that had sat too long. It was messy made the bun soggy and just all around gross. I was going to bring all my kidd back to eat and will NEVER EAR HERE AGAIN. A REFUND IS WANTED. 27 DOLLARS FOR 2 BURGERS 2 DRINKS AND 1 FRY AND THE PLAIN CHEESEBURGWR HAD ONIONS ON IT WASNT SUPPOSE TO. “Went there yesterday for my birthday. First time visiting this place. Found them on instgram. They definitely are living up to the grams hype. Very elevated dishes. Asethically pleasing to the eye!! And even though the dishes were smaller than im used to, it was delicious. We had asparagus, pork schnitzel, icebox cake and more. Our server Damien made sure we had the best time . What I really love is the fact there menu changes every 6 weeks. Go check em out.”

“Very small coffee shop in a converted auto repair shop. It is pretty small; so not a great place to just chill out as people are generally on top of each other. The coffee is excellent. The prices are a little higher than most other local coffee shops. If the weather permits, they do have a little outdoor patio in the back. A very small parking lot for about 3 cars. Street parking is available.”

Neighborhood wise, cannot by any means judge a book by its cover. this place is an absolute diamond in the rough with an incredibly beautiful interior and many wonderful surprises inside. The owner was kind, friendly, and personable. I felt like we were genuinely good friends after our short visit. I am upset that we discovered this place at the end of our vacation otherwise we wpuld have spent the whole day here. He has been in business just about one year and gave us a full tour of what's to come. the initial inside is a full bar of wine, liquor, and beer. we toured the back that has a gorgeous patio space, and beyond that is a cigar lounge. TVs and theater seating. he then showed us the speakeasy. through the secret door against the wall, you walk upstairs and find an additional whole wine bar with 1930s themed speakeasy vibes. I cannot wait to come back to st. Louis in a couple years and see everything finished and ready to roll. such an innovative and awesome place I wish our hometown had.”

“My wife and I were in today and had lunch. We got a couple of dishes to go as well. Every dish was amazing. The ingredients were fresh, flavorful to the maximum, and prepared perfectly. We had the Pad See Yu (Spice 3), Spicy Basil with Pork (Thai Hot), Garlic and Pepper with Beef (Thai Hot), and Garlic Fried Rice (Spice 3). I want to try everything on the menu now. I am 100% confident that they can make everything amazing, time and time again. If you like garlic, onions, basil, and all the flavors that blend well with them, then this is the restaurant you've been waiting for.”
