Chicken Restaurants near University City

“Chicago Fish & Chicken Grill has the back cake ever so fresh, soft, moist, and yummy....stop in today to grab you a slice.“

“We ordered King Edwards Chicken and Fish for a Family Party. Everyone loved the food! The chicken was delicious and so were the sides. It was a very large order and King Edwards really came through. Highly recommend!“

“First time eating at this restaurant. Food has great taste. Only tried the mild. Was tasty but no heat. Will try medium or hot next time. Cauliflower is great. I’m not a fan of fried mozzarella but my girlfriend said it was great. Only drawback is that there is only chicken. No other meat options.“

“Always good food and service“

“Most efficient and well run fast food chain by a long shot. Pulled into the drive thru during peak lunch time.. both drive thru lanes wrapping around the building. Still took less than 10 minutes to order and get $30+ of food. Amazing. The entire staff extremely kind. (Why other restaurants don’t replicate the Chick-fil-A service model is beyond me.. Culver’s is getting close.) Thanks CFA!“

“Kevin was very friendly and the food was excellent! Very crispy and flavorful. Atmosphere was poppin’ as well.“

“This is really the best tasty and spicy, but not too spicy, fried chicken you can get your hands on!!! The chicken is fried to perfection and the sides are excellent! Highly recommend going here!!“

“My first time going to a Chik fil a. Dined in for lunch. The staff there are extremely courteous and friendly. Was a very enjoyable lunch.“

“my favorite location. always impressed. always wonderful.“

“Rob was so nice. It was my first time. He made excellent recommendations. They were spot on. Delicious. All of the staff was amazing. It was a beautiful day to sit on the patio. I will definitely be back!“

“Delicious …. I got the medium hot ,I could have went higher hot I want to get that next time .“

“The chicken was very tasty, the crust was perfect and the chicken was really moist and tender. The coleslaw was great, the mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious, but needed some salt and pepper IMO. Overall it’s one of the best chicken spots I’ve found around the city (not on the IL side) so far. Way better than the place that claims to be number one near Soulard.“

“Overall this place is amazing, I love the food, I love everything about canes, I would definitely recommend if you want good chicken. The only con about this location is that it’s very cold inside. I would add a picture but I’m not currently there. Hope this helps!“

“Best food in the town. I have been coming to this store since 5-6 years the people have been the best to me treat me so well with always nicest food . The short girl in the cash has always been helpful each time I come here. They know me as Mr. Charlie. Keep up the good work guys“

“The chicken strips are getting a little lower and lower and the prices are going up up up.“

“Great customer service …. Love that they have a special needs worker too“

“BEST FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH we have ever had. 😋 great service, friendly, food was hot and fresh. keep up the great work. 👍“

“Came in exspecting hot just fine on some chicken fish gyros salad with the Chicago flavor maybe, since I am from Chicago, not only did Malik and family match the Chicago flavor swag.they made me feel like a family member coming over to have a family meal. Not at all that I feel like a customer buying a consumer product thank you Malik and family one of the things me and my fiancée was worried was eating since we are away from home for at least 30 days. On behalf of me and Amber we can rest because Chicago fish chicken and grill relies our stress love you guys Malik“

“This spot has great food at a good price on top of that the service you receive is fast and friendly.“

“The food offered here is some of THE BEST comfort food I have EVER tasted! You get more than plenty enough for the price and I highly recommend this place to anyone who asks!!“

“Love me some Lee's! I discovered it living in Ohio 15 years ago and always stop by when in town visiting family. The food here is far better than KFC if you're looking for fast food. The green beans are country style and their biscuits won't choke you out if you don't have a beverage on hand. Love their sweet tea, reminds me of Carolina homemade. I love this particular location as the staff is friendly and the service is fast, and it's within proximity to many airport hotels.“

“Best meal you’ll have at the mall! Hands down! 💯👍🏻🐔“

“Delicious homestyle food!“

“There was a mix-up on GrubHub in the ordering and what I ordered but it was handled so professionally when I got into the store and the food was excellent, hot and fresh. Qudos to all responsible. Job well done“

“Ordered online. Went thru busy drive thru quickly. Pleasant employees. Ordered grilled chicken club - very good. Should have ordered a condiment on it. Fruit cup was great! Fresh and a lot.

Ordered 2 kids meals - chicken strips, waffle fries, milk. Food was warm to hot.“

“Baby them honey bbq wings what ever sauce yall use it’s sooooo good and im not from here I got stuck at a shipper (truck driver) I seen this place on door dash and was a good price I was mad I only ordered 6 wings so I just did another order for 10 pc 😂😂😂 but them wings so gooo“

“We had a great experience today for lunch all due to our cashier Karen! She was super friendly and attentive to everyone's needs. Thanks to everyone at the MH location. Keep up the excellent work!“

“Delicious homestyle food!“

“Hi! While sitting in line I had time to type this! Food and sauces are great for fast food as always ! But this is the slowest drive threw line I'v ever used in my life! The Hampton location still needs some work !“

“Nice place to eat at cake 🍰 are delicious to 😋“

“I have been going back to Lee's and I must admit that I'm impressed with the customer service and the quality of the food always hot fresh sides are almost always fresh and flavorful I enjoy my experience every time I go there now“

“We loved Lee's in Richmond VA so when we saw the sign for it in St Louis we headed there.
Although it was ok it didn't taste as good as the one in Richmond. Perhaps the grease wasn't fresh. I'm not sure what it is but there is a difference in taste, and how my body felt after eating it. The customer service was good.“

“This was the best chicken I have had in a long time. I was busy and didn't get a chance to eat it warm but it still had the crunch and was very well seasoned. I'm going back today. It reminded me of my great grandmothers chicken. I wanted to gatekeep but its so good I had to share 🔥👏🏽“

“Delicious homestyle food!“

“My mother called to place a large order fot a babyshower and a man(sounded Caucasian) was very rude and hung up on. I called back after learning of this and asked for a manager. He said he was the manager, I then asked for OWNER he asked what did I want. I explained to him what he had just did..He said sure did and hung up on me. These people are very unprofessional and rude but want OUR dollars!!“

“The food was bomb! I purchased the 3 finger combo..the chicken was hot and well seasoned with this seasoning that accommodated the chicken so well. The fries were hot and the bread was on point. Only complaint is the cashier couldve been a little nicer/20 minute wait“
