“The owner Mike, was a delightful man and walked my boyfriend and I through his menu. We ended up sharing a full rack rib combo with a quarter pound of brisket and homemade applesauce topped with cinnamon. I've always been picky with BBQ because it's hard to find good ribs, but this place really was probably the best ribs I'd ever had. Not only were they "fall off the bone" but they were perfectly flavored with their apple butter BBQ glaze. They close early too sometimes due to selling out so make sure you go early!“
“I was in town for a conference and I went to Food Network for some recommendations and this restaurant popped up. I was not disappointed the ribs and pulled pork were really great. The sauces were really good and the atmosphere was so friendly and just down home. I love the option of eating indoors or outdoor. Great place if you are a visitor. And a lot of locals recommended this place.“
“The food was excellent! Perfect temperature for everything.I think this place is MUCH better than the BBQ place down the street. The restaurant itself is very simple. But, the food & service is so much better. The owner came by at the end of our meal to make sure we were happy & that speaks volumes!Try Smoke & Bones!“
“We recently moved to the area from Florida and were in search of great St. Louis BBQ. We dined at many establishments and though the food was good, we were not wowed until now. Dalie's Smokehouse Was exceptional. The food was phenomenal and the customer service and attentiveness were superb. You could tell that thw folks at Dalie’s didn’t just want our business, they wanted us to have a wonderful experience and to become a part of the family. We found our spot. See you again real soon.“
“Turkey ribs were awesome. First time having them, great with sauce or without. Smoke was excellent. Potato salad was like my grandmas. I didn’t get the turkey tips because they were out, I assume that means those are good too. This is a humble smokehouse with good people. Highly recommend.“
“I can't rant about this place enough! It is an unassuming walk-up only eatery. The staff are always friendly. Always. The food is always great. Always. My favorite meal is the 1/2 chicken with white chicken chili and green beans. I'd recommend everything I've tried to date.“
“I had the appetizer of hummus with toasted bread so good. The ribs were so tender and juicy and let’s not forget the turkey, excellent. The food, the atmosphere, the staff and the owner are amazing and super friendly. I definitely recommend it. Oh almost forgot the mac and cheese.“
“Stellar Hog is always our go to for BBQ! So much so that we had our wedding reception there. Carnivore or vegetarian… there is something for everyone! Great patio, great dinning room (sometimes with live music), cold drinks, and amazing food… what more could you ask for?“
“Smokee Mo’s bbq is unmatched by any other bbq place in the area. I couldn’t recommend it enough. The staff is so welcoming and the owner always remembers my boyfriend and I when we come in. The mangia bene brisket sandwich and broccoli casserole is phenomenal.“
“We placed a pickup order about 45 minutes from close. The staff was very friendly and updated us throughout. We were missing one of our sides and didn’t realize until we left, however when we asked for extra pickles and dipping sauces they really gave us extra. The food was excellent and was still fresh by the time we got it home.Vegetarian options: Only the sides, this is a bbq placeKid-friendliness: There is a kids menu“
“We were in town for business and this place was recommended by a friend. We were fortunate enough to meet the owners Darren and Charlene and they are awesome! We ordered spicy longanisa (Philippine sausage) and pumuputok na Manok (bbq chicken wings) with garlic fried rice and we could tell right away the love that they put into their food because it came out in the flavor. My only regret is that we’re from Chicago and it’ll take a minute for us to get back there but we’ll see you soon!“
“What we loved the most about this place was the service! The food was very good, and generous portions and the beer selection was excellent, but the way they greeted us, and sought us out because they happened to be playing bingo and wanted to make sure we felt included.. they brought our food and checked on like we were family of the owners..just wow! We are not from St. Louis and stopped in, we are so glad we did and added a pin to google for one of our favorite places if we are ever back in town!“
“This place is a must try. The food and service were great. My wife and I both ordered the Burnt Ends Sandwich with fries and wings for an appetizer. The Burnt Ends Sandwich was nice and tender. The wings were very good. I had to stop eating them so I would be able to eat my sandwich. The only negative thing was the sauce. I was not a big fan of the sauces, although the sauce that came on the sandwich worked well with the Burnt Ends. I'm not a fan of peppery or spicy sauces, and that's what they featured.I would visit this place again. I definitely would order their Burnt Ends by themselves and add a different type of BBQ sauce.“
“We ordered the Nubby's Favorite and the Hawaiian pizzas for lunch along with 2 house salads w/house dressing. The salad was so crisp, fresh, and tasty we were still talking about it today. The pizzas were even better. They had just the right amount of delicious, fresh ingredients. Great job! We'll be back “
“If you like t-ravs- these are the best in town!.We have never had a sandwich we didn't love and even the meat packed pizza is yummy! George is a fantastic and fun bar tender, only to be outdown by his charming bride! The salad selection is a bit lacking, but the Mayfair dressing is delicious! It's a regular favorite!“
“This is a 10 star place. The atmosphere is great, the service is top notch and the food was spectacular. No wait time and the waitress checked on our table throughout. We had ribs, burnt ends, and lean brisket. All great! Definitely try the cracker Mac and cheese, it's to die for!“
“From out of town and looking for a good place to eat, stopped by Sugarfire and loved it! The hamburgers were delicious and the bbq was the best. Wish they would open a restaurant in El Paso , TX! ?. Try the fried green tomatoes and pies! ⭐️“
“Definitely coming back! I came here today for work to order for myself and my guys for the first time. The manager was very welcoming and introduced himself and advised me on food favorites and was very kind. He went above and behind my expectations! He even gave me a discount for my first time here ordering for my employees. I’m definitely coming back here and eating more because of the quality of the service and food but overall because he is a kind helpful man. Great manager of this location !“
“We are having such an awesome time here at Billy G's in Kirkwood! Jackie, our server, was so friendly and so prompt, everything that you would want someone serving you food! Here's a picture of half and I repeat half of the chicken nachos that I had! The rest is gone in my tummy! If, for whatever reason, you have never been here before don't walk but run here it's a great place!“
“We ordered 12 pounds of pulled pork for our Fourth of July celebration. The pulled pork was cooked to perfection and was absolutely phenomenal! It was delivered when promised with plenty of sauce and buns. We will definitely order from Grill Master Tony again. Thank you for everything!“
“Today my husband retired after more than 50 years working. He was given a gift card to Bandanas so we went out for lunch to celebrate. We have always loved Bandanas and still do, but we had an unfortunate experience with the gift card. Their system for processing gift cards was not working, and we had to pay the bill ourselves. It could have been handled better -- the manager could have compensated us and ran the gift card when the system came back up. The food and service was great, but it left a bit of a downer on our celebration. They gave us back our gift card and said we could use it later, but we will not be anxious to return to Bandanas anytime soon.“
“Being I'm a truck driver from out of time I stopped there for a drink and food and they was very welcoming there. Most bars don't like out of Towner's but they included in their round of shots and I drink too shelf??But that fish platter ???. The Owner and and her sister also check on you to make sure your good. I'll be seeing them again next time in in STL“
“Great new spot. It has lounge vibes. Eclectic selection of bourbon and whiskey bottles to buy. They also do flights. Some hard to find stuff. All reasonably priced. Great beer selection. They also serve a small list of food like sliders and nachos. The chicken sliders were very good. I had a few Ben Holladay old fashioned and they were excellent.“
“Love this place- we were there on Saturday night (3/9/24) great food and even better service- Jila at the front was great! She greeted us with a smile the minute we walked in and was so attentive throughout our ordering process and beyond. Thanks for making our night so much better, Jila and team!“
“I wish I had taken pictures before we started eating the food but I didn’t. The pictures wouldn’t do any justice anyways; y’all don’t need pictures, take my word for it! This is GOOD BBQ! I came all the way from GA and asked where was the nest bbq in MO and was told to come here!!! It was the right choice & right off the highway so it was easy navigating there! My family and I will be back whenever we’re here again!“
“Server was very knowledgeable about food allergies and gave us some other suggestions around town. The brisket was the best I've had since moving away from Texas. We also got deviled eggs, pulled pork, creamed corn, and oh my gosh the beef fat fries! They were so good!!!“
“Excellent food, excellent service, a little loud, but understandable because there were a lot of people. Will definitely be coming back.Kid-friendliness: My son loved the grilled cheese and applesauce. They had plenty of options to choose from.“
“Today I found myself at a nice little Cajun place in Webster Groves. I originally set out from my house, not knowing where I wanted to eat dinner or even if I wanted dinner. My wandering took me to Webster, where I stumbled into this place and thought I wanted some fried catfish. That is exactly what I got. The place was lively when I walked in, with a live band playing and TVs all over the place showing college basketball. The place felt like walking into a bar/restaurant down in Morgan City, LA. I found a high-top seat, and a lovely waitress came over, took my order for fried catfish, coleslaw, fries and an appetizer of fried ravioli but these were stuffed with crab meat. Only thing I forgot to ask for was cornbread. Anyway, the catfish was fried well, the coleslaw tasty, the waffle fries cooked to perfection, and the ravioli took a prize for the best thing I ate while I was there. Overall, I enjoyed myself and went home full and happy. Would love to go again, especially to their brunch, which looks downright delectable.“
