“We haven't ate here in a long time but thought we would give it a try for something different. Definitely didn't disappoint and our waitress was one of the best we have had in a long time. The atmosphere with the lit lamps was so nice after a long day at work. The soft pretzel was absolutely something I may dream about later it was so good. I tried the corn chowder (yum) and the Shepard pie (good) but had a couple bites of my husband's bacon wrapped pork steak, wow (fabulous). Not what you would normally picture as a pork steak but way better. We also tried the peanut butter chocolate cake (yum). Rich but oh so good.
It was late in the evening when we went, so not many others there which we like sometimes. This was definitely a great pick for tonight. I can't wait to come back and maybe sit outside. Thank you!!!“

“Everything about Authentic Taste of Jamaica was amazing this evening!!! We stumbled across this delicious date night after reading Yelp reviews and it did not disappoint. The service, food, and the opportunity to visit with the owner was awesome. Started off with a Red Stripe, beef patty, and Kingston wings and ended with jerk and curry chicken. The food was so good!! Thank you for a wonderful experience we will be back soon.“

“Plenty of seating, quiet, great customer service. Extensive menu, to choose from. The single deluxe burger was delightful! The size was enough for ones moderate appetite. There was a double for those who seek more. Either way, this was a great burger place! Clean restaurant and restrooms definitely deserves 3 thumbs up!“

“Having been stationed here 25 years ago as a 95C in the old DB, South Gate was a place I frequented. Now that they turned the old visitation room into a diner I had to check it out! Was not disappointed, the food was pretty good. Limited menu was still pretty appealing.“

“Lots of good people and I still go there despite the problems with late night dependability early closing random nights. Only problem is undependable late night hours - depending on the agenda of the bartender, sometimes closes super early. If you’re a late night person, it’s hit and miss.“

“We had such a great experience here! We went for dinner and enjoyed every item we ordered. I was pleasantly surprised with the options for gluten free items and was so grateful for the accommodations. The atmosphere is geared toward those who love to go and watch a sports game with plenty of tasty food and drink options (lots of very cool memorabilia too) but would absolutely be enjoyable for anyone! In a safe area with parking close by, great service and kindness from staff from start to finish. Definitely will be making this a regular visit!“

“Absolutely delightful lunch!! My mother-in-law and I stopped while visiting some shops in town. What a treat!!! This is a must stop when visiting Weston. Incredible food. We got the Squash soup and salad. Brie appetizer and she got the chicken salad sandwich. Everything was incredible!“
