“Absolutely enjoyed my experience at Cafe Nonna. Great service all around. I loved the ambiance of the place and although I had dinner alone I never felt that awkwardness like in other restaurants. Lastly, the scallops were the highlight for me… whoever did that needs to go teach Hells Kitchen a few things. 11/10!”

“This has recently become one of my favorite plant based spots in Nashville after trying them at Hunters Station last weekend, then having my boyfriend go back later that night and the next day to grab us food. The fish sandwich tastes exactly like fish and the cheesy potatoes compliment it to well. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they open up on a more consistent basis but for now I’m ok with stalking their insta page to see where their going to be. 10/10”

“First time diners at this restaurant but we'll be back. We had the pork chop and the steak - both were done just as we ordered - these are substantial servings. We shared the red Thai curry steamed PEI mussels - an interesting riff on the typical PEI mussels appetizer - though not as spicy as I had hoped - I'll ask about that next time. Modest wine list but we selected a cabernet we both enjoyed. Service was engaging and competent - all-in-all, a good meal and a good time.”

“A trip back to the golden age of nightclubs. A real prohibition/film noir vibe. Top flight warm and friendly service from bar and waiting staff. Bar manager Rhys is right across the whole operation. Also really knowledgeable about the cultural history of the venue - which has been rocking it since 1948. Incredible music from sax player / Nat King Cole voiced Derek Williams, plus singers Laura Mayo and Dianne Sherrill fronting a superb jazz combo led by a highly charismatic pianist. The burlesque show is end to end class with elegance and humour balanced perfectly by co producers Jonny Gowow (musical director) and Tessa Mendoza (hostess / lead dancer). Food also of equally high standard. The prime rib is a near religious experience!”

“Big thanks to our server Johnny who took great care of us for 2 breakfasts while visiting Nashville. Taro late was unique and worthy of revisiting. Baked goods were balanced and delicious. The meals felt so good, not heavy or greasey, proper portions. Drinks all made to perfection and the juices were even a life saver. “We met a friend here on our way back from the midwest. This was our halfway point. The kitchen closed before we arrived, but the staff let my friend order before it closed so we could have a meal ready for us upon arrival. The staff was super friendly and made meal suggestions. The food was delicious!!! As were the drinks. The staff was so nice and accommodated all our needs. We tried appetizers, main dishes, and dessert as well. I wanted my belly to expand just so I could eat more. Loved the decor and atmosphere. Will come here again when passing through Nashville!!!”

“I go once a year to Vanderbilt Medical Center for a checkup. We've been saying for years that we wanted to try this restaurant. We decided to walk from Vanderbilt Medical Center down to this location and try it this year. It was well worth the walk. We have tried both Prince's Nashville Hot Chicken and Hattie B's and much prefer Hattie B's. The only thing I don't recommend is the banana pudding. I have a huge sweet tooth and never say that something is too sweet for my taste. I can honestly say their banana pudding was too sweet for my taste. It is good but it is super sweet.Parking: They only have a handful of spaces. That is why we walked almost a mile there instead of driving there.”

There’s not a chance you’ll find something better by the time you get to whatever back up restaurant you pick.Big Al’s Deli is small and feels like you’re with family the moment you step through the door. You’re greeted and treated like you just got home. The service is exceptional, the atmosphere is friendlier than you’ll find anywhere outside of grandma’s kitchen, and the food takes you to a different place and time where everything just feels right.Get the catfish. Listen to what the waitress suggests you try, and enjoy an experience unlike any other.”

“We were in Nashville for a few days and The Treehouse was near our stay. We decided to pop in for dinner and our meal was delicious. Tanner, our server, was very attentive and knowledgeable. His recommendations were great and we enjoyed the atmosphere and food. My husband had the chicken (bring your appetite - it is huge!) and I had the gnocchi. We also enjoyed the burrata starter. We hope to return again when the weather is nice and enjoy their large outdoor space.”

“This is the first one I ever been to Avo in over 7 years. I had a late lunch with a friend who is vegan and I did not know they were no longer raw vegan. She had the Nachos which were piled high and she liked them. I ordered the vegan cheese plate to share and the seasonal pot pie. Noah was the chef that day and he put his foot in it on Friday! My friend had to thank him and let him know how well he did. The pot pie had sweet potatoes on it which I was not expecting because it was a little too sweet for me BUT I had leftovers and it tasted better the next day! Fury was our waitress and she was so fun and attentive! She was down for our respectful shenanigans. The place is casual and designed like most places modern causal places. Open, open bench sitting in one side and a chair on the other.”

“Husband and I did bar dining on a Sunday with 815 reservations, great staff to patron ratio and we never were waiting on anything or felt like we were being ignored. Complementary valet with the hotel is included, I could see how if it were a busier evening or you did the prefixe dinner how you can go over that time and possibly end up paying, but we did not have an issue. Mushroom soup to start with was absolutely delicious and beautiful presentation. Husband had tile fish entrée and I had pork medallions which were both definitely tasty, but both a little over salted and the spice rub on the outside of the pork was a little over powering, but still a tasty flavor. Very delicious whiskey sour and Manhattan cocktails. No dress code is enforced but everyone seemed to have business casual/cocktail attire on, but there was only about eight other people in the restaurant. Saw several people around us getting oysters and caviar, so definitely would go here if that is your thing”

“How adorable is a secret garden theme bar! We came here to celebrate my birthday with a group of 12 and it was excellent. The T&R team was so accommodating, our food was delicious (get the taco platter for a group!) and our drinks were fabulous. Kat, our server, took excellent care of us and had fantastic recommendations for everyone. We also tried the adorable Secret Garden specialty batch cocktail drink (basically a flower bouquet!!!) and it was tasty and so fun to share. I know the themes change every so often, but I can't wait to see what they'll do next up here. Would recommend for a fun celebration with a group, girls night or a romantic evening! We requested an indoor spot because it's still cool outside, but I wish it was a few weeks later because the outdoor patio looks so inviting! I think we'll have to come back!”

We had the chicken kadai, butter chicken, and the daal makhani (which if you've never had, do yourself a favor and get it from here!). The garlic naan was also great. “The burgers were the best I’ve had since before the owner of Jumbo & Delicious passed away. Years ago! Very very good, just how it comes. My husband doesn’t even like sauce and he loved the sauce that came on it. The pickles were almost too close to the taste of cucumber (hate cucumber) but they were good too!The fries were okay. Nothing to write home about. Not sure why people like these pencil sized fries. The seasoning was okay as well. I like Zaxby’s fries better.The cheese curd appetizer was very good and the manager came to check on the taste of those. Forgot to take a pic of those because we were hungry.The burger meals were $15 each and appetizer was $11. Not terrible prices for these times.They allow dogs, it seems. So that is cool. The place was packed but we got seated pretty fast. It got even busier as we left. Overall, you must go in to try the burger or the onsite brewery (which I did not try, but not my thing to spend tons on beer).”

“We just returned from a fun long weekend in Nashville. Eating at Cafe Roze for dinner was our culinary high light. Their chili eggplant dish was unbelievable. What I wouldn’t do for that recipe…and the talent to prepare it to perfection. I wanted to continue vegetarian so I ordered the simple pasta - also done to perfection. Others at our table had the paprika chicken, wedge salad with salmon and vegetarian dinner bowl. All raved about their dish and ate every bite. This is a very special cafe. Small intimate and lovely - but the food is the star. The noise level was not crazy loud either which we appreciated. Best restaurant in Nashville by a mile.”

“We were on the way home from picking up my mom from the airport and stopped in for supper. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. There were two ladies working in the front. They were very attentive. It wasn’t particularly busy when we were there and Charlie and Bro could have easily been sitting down playing on their phones. Instead, they were cleaning. It was spic and span in the dining area!!! They were cleaning and changing out the bbq sauce bottles, wiping all of the tables, chairs, vacuuming a mopping the rugs, wiping off the chairs and booths. Really utilizing their down time. And that’s not very common to see these days, sadly. I had to brag on them in person, but also wanted to write a review also because many times the focus is always on the bad, so I am very happy to share a great review for a restaurant that was all around great today and especially to call out Charlie and Bri that were so hospitable and working so very hard! Great job, ladies!”

“Kayne Prime lives up to its name. Optimum levels of Flavor. Kayne Prime has the best Bone in Ribeye I have ever had in my life. The Bone Marrow Butter on top was a treat that complemented the juices of the 24oz. The Waitor was outstanding. The service was incredible.”

The chips and green salsa are very tasty. Order the house made green hot sauce. It seems to be a Jalapeño Avocado sauce and is fabulous as an accompaniment to anything on the menu. The regular guacamole is kind of a miss as it lacks zest. Needs salt and lime. The second visit was this last week. I ordered beef fajitas which were perfectly tender and tasty, served with a ramekin of butter to pour over the entire sizzling platter. Absolutely wonderful. The house made flour tortillas were perfect. One knock on the place. The service... Oh MY !!! All 3 servers were parked at the end of the bar with their faces buried in their smart phones. Each of the 3 servers were oblivious to the floor. None were scanning the dining room to see if any of their guests needed anything at all. I could only get the lady to return to my table after trying in vain to get anyone's attention, when the cook came out of the kitchen to go to the bathroom, HE saw me waving and told them that I evidently wanted something. The boss needs to know this so the boss can straighten this out immediately. I will visit again, but if this disengaged service happens again, it will be my last visit. Five stars for food, 2 stars for aloof service. The servers can easily do better if they just simply pay attention. When we left, one of the male waiters was standing at the host stand clearly playing a video game on his phone. Nope.”

“Valentine’s Day Dinner for 2Approaching Chauhan, I noticed a large parking lot right next door to the cluster of restaurants. I'll come back to the parking details later. We're big fans of Maneet Chauhan and the Food Network in general, so we were excited to try some menu items. After further review, I noticed that all the restaurants near the parking lot were owned by Maneet. She had all three of her restaurants bunched together. We entered and were warmly greeted at the door. I mentioned I had a reservation, and we were quickly seated at the far end of the dining room. The decorations and overall ambiance were colorful and bright. Our server came by after a few minutes, and we ordered a couple of beers. Wifey went for the Kingfisher, an Indian lager, while I opted for the Good People Hazy Snake Hazy IPA. We added the Garlic Parmesan Naan and Tandoori chicken as an appetizer. Our server said she would bring the Naan out with our entrees.  We perused the menu, which was set up so you could kind of build your own entree. Pick your protein, Indian-inspired curry, and sides. I chose the Chicken with Tikka Masala sauce and rice. Wifey ordered the Pork Shank also with the Tikka Masala and rice. As I sat sipping on my beer, I realized it didn't taste like a hazy IPA (#BeerSnob). I even mentioned it to our server, but she assured me it was the beer I ordered. The Tandoori chicken appetizer came out, and we started digging in. It was DELICIOUS, tender, and seasoned to perfection. The entrees followed soon after, and the food quality didn't decline. Wifey said her Pork Shank was super tender and easily falling off the bone. We both enjoyed our plates, though I had a slight criticism about my Chicken Tikka. The sauce-to-meat ratio was a little unbalanced. There was too much sauce for the amount of chicken I had.  Overall, the food, service, and ambiance were excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our first experience at Chauhan. Oh, back to the parking situation, I ended up paying $35 for two hours, but that was my fault because I didn't see the sign warning of the high prices for the lot right next to the restaurant. The sign also advised people to park in the Whole Foods parking lot as patrons of Chauhan. DO NOT park in the lot next to the restaurants.”
