“We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Iza. We had fantastic crafted cocktails and an appetizer of crispy Brussels sprouts which were the best we had ever had. Two of us have some allergy restrictions and they could not have been more amenable to creating us delicious and allergy safe foods. They even brought us out a few specially created dishes that were truly the best we had ever tasted. The customer service is impeccable, from the bartender to our server, to the owners making our dining experience one we will remember! We will be coming back to Iza very soon and highly recommend!! “Even though I'm pretty out of the way, I always love coming back to Speakeasy. But this review is about karaoke night lol. Karaoke at Speakeasy is so amazing (as someone who has karaoke'd at many venues in the area) but it's a very frustrating experience. I dropped by after an event up the street, trying to make sure I didn't get there too late. I put my name in for a song about 9:30 and I had to call it when, by 10:45, that song still hadn't been pulled up yet! I love that regulars are so passionate about karaoke (same) and adore how talented Empress is when she sings, but it's such a bummer to be there watching multiple regulars and our hostess go up THREE times over and over while maybe one or two other people in the crowd get to go if their names made it onto the list. Can't even see the name queue in Karafun either so you can't see when you'll be called up so you can estimate your time spent there. Making the queue visible and manually balancing it out so that there's even/fair spread would be a quick fix, as it's been done at other karaoke nights I've been to. Speakeasy is awesome and always worth the visit but karaoke has definitely got me cooled on visiting for another while. :(“

I moved up from Florida which is covered in kava bars, so I was looking for a place to make me feel at home like I did at my favorite kava bar in Florida, Krave gives me the same vibes. I absolutely love this place, the bartenders are absolutely amazing as are the other customers!! Absolutely amazing.“

I loved that they had house made seltzer water with syrups of your choice, and the vibes were great. Such a great causal spot. “Guy Fieri should put this place on Diners Drive-Ins & Dives. Don't let the strip mall storefront fool you. Nor the kids working the counter. I am an Italian & ex-patriot Brooklyn native & this is the closest thing to my Grandmother's Sunday dinner that I have ever found in North Carolina. The house salad was all romaine no iceburg. The balsamic vinaigrette tasted homemade. There were even artichoke hearts in it. The mozzarella seemed to be hand breaded. The marinara tasted like it had been on slow cook since dawn. The garlic knots were very real. The penne was al dente & they seemed to give me a whole box of it. There was fresh shaved romano & fresh basil on top. It was like going back in time to the old neighborhood. My Southern wife special ordered the cheese lasagna with pesto & they even accommodated that unusual request. We did not have the pizza but for an authentic Sunday dinner it's the real thing. I wish they were not sold out of tiramisu I'm sure it's great too. If eggplant parmesan was on the menu it would be even better. The portions were so big we took half of it home in a box. Fresh sunflowers on the outdoor tables a very nice touch too. MOLTO BENNE!“
