“My husband and I absolutely love Aidan's Pizza! We love that it is a small family business with great prices, excellent customer service, and high quality food. We have ordered many times and are always thoroughly satisfied with our meal. The Cheese Steak is delicious: perfectly cooked meat, toasty bread, cheesy, and well seasoned! We have tried the cheese sticks (the small is very generous!), the Kickin Tarheel Pizza, the Sweet Carolina Pizza, the Greek Goddess pizza (pictured), and the Caprese pizza. The pizzas are always fresh with generous toppings and delicious crust. Give Aidan's a try - you're missing out otherwise!“

It was my daughter's birthday and I put it in the reservation and they surprised us all with a special cake and candle for her! They also offer hot chocolate for kids and some more kids friendly sandwiches which I didn't know before hand. It was quiet with excellent service and the dining room was beautiful. “Are outside along sidewalk because we had a dog. Restaurant is dog friendly and offered a dog bowl of water. Erica, waitress, very personable. Blackened Fish tacos delicious with crunchy blue corn taco inside softer flour taco shell. Not too spicy. Oatmeal porter was great. Loved the sweet potato fries but there was a $1 up charge for those not mentioned when offered. Would go back.“

“Lovely outdoor lunch at Refectory Cafe. Despite some on and off again rain we enjoyed lunch under large awning. Enjoyed special blueberry, lavender, basil tea. Custom omelet with cheddar and spinach was perfect with sourdough toast. A sandwich with sweet potato fries was yummy. The fries were large pieces of sweet potato and not greasy. Honey mustard was a great accompaniment. Refectory Cafe is my go-to restaurant with a large menu for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner and a tempting display of desserts. Every day there are varied specials on the outdoor chalkboard. Service is welcoming and efficient. Always a great place to come back to.“

“Normally, my food is awesome...today not so much. I ordered ribs and brisket with fries and collards along with Texas toast. The sides and bread were the only thing that was great. The ribs and brisket were VERY dry. The brisket was so hard, that it almost had the texture of jerky. I was so disappointed 😞.“

“Twinnie’s has quickly become one of my favorite eateries at Duke! I come here at least once a week and it is always a pleasure to see the team. Special shout out to Jack who never fails to make my day! He is so kind, fun to chat with, and full of great recommendations. The food is top notch (cafe style entrées and drinks); seriously everything here is delicious. I’d recommend trying the daily specials or the classic Chicken Pita. “Comfortable stay while attending a conference. Room was typical average. The front desk staff was helpful. I forgot to pack my cell phone charger and the gentlemen at the front desk let my borrow a charger. Comfortable bed and overall a great stay.“
