The food came out quickly and the atmosphere was very comfortable. This place is a small town diner with lots of locals and smiling faces.“

We absolutely love The Singletree Restaurant! We give you five stars without hesitation.

We were there the very first week Josh Weeks opened this establishment and have been loyal patrons ever since—sharing it with friends, cheering him on, and returning again and again.

Tonight’s meal was outstanding. The duck, ordered by my husband and son, was absolutely delicious, and my scallops were succulent and fabulous. Every visit reinforces why we love coming back.

Thank you for consistently delivering farm-to-table, thoughtfully prepared food in such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We will continue to support and recommend you.

“Very relaxed beach burger stand vibes that delivers not just on taste, but on quality as well. One of the best burgers I've had in WNC and I've had a lot of them. Get a shaved ice after to really drive home the nostalgic summer feel. Thanks for the great lunch Gigis!“

“Terrific experience at Chef’s Table this evening. My wife and I did not have a reservation and actually left to go elsewhere when the waiter came out to get us and asked that we be patient for just a few minutes… we were and I’m glad we stayed.
I had the cheese salad and the ribeye and my wife had artichoke with mushroom ravioli…WOW. All the food was great including the wine. The waiter was very attentive and gave us good recommendations. Even the bread and butter were very good. We plan on returning often.“

“All of their food is excellent! My favorites are cheeseburgers, hotdogs and biscuits and gravy! They have a high sanitary grade even though they are in a food truck. The only drawback is they have only outside seating and close at 2:00 pm..“

“I usually order to go when I am too lazy to make a home-cooked meal. The food is good, generous, and well worth the price. I like different restaurants for different reasons. This falls into my "guilty pleasures/greasy spoon" category of restaurant, not because its a dive but because it is simple, decent, southern comfort style food. Don't go for Michelin Star or for fusion foods, but when you want something comforting like grandma would have made it. I give it a 5 star rating not just for its food, but the heart and spirit of the owners and employees. I have seen from behind the scenes, more than once, how this restaurant helps people and the community-for example with food for flood victims and fundraisers for local schools. Their compassion alone makes it a business worth supporting, the tasty fried country steaks, okra, rolls and desert are just the icing on the cake.“

“We were looking at adding a den onto our cabin and met with three different contractors. We felt comfortable with Josh and we made the right choice. We are part timers here in waynesville so we really needed someone we could trust. He kept us informed throughout the construction and made great suggestions. You could taste the love that’s made into the food! We felt so welcomed with our baby, it was our first real big dinner since he’s been born! Mama had to eat!🍴🥩 We love Fuego! “The Grateful Table is a great example of how the Town of Canton is recovering from the storms and the Mill closure. I work on a project to establish a new nonprofit business here, and our board of directors loves holding our weekly meetings at the Grateful Table. It usually bustles with customers from all walks of life in Canton including parents, artists, and other entrepreneurs. This is the best place in Canton to meet wonderful people!“

“We had a one night stay while on a motorcycle trip with 20 friends. It was conveniently located. The rooms were newly renovated and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The staff were friendly. It was conveniently located next to a gas station and it had its own Mexican restaurant, which was also good.

We had a good experience and would stay there again.“

“Each day had a different lunch special. We had turkey&dressing, cranberry cup, bread, and many choices to choose for your 2 sides for $11+. DELICIOUS! We also ordered a hamburger and slice of pecan pie too go for later. Price was excellent and was very filling. Can't wait to go back and try other items from the menu! Great home cooking!“

“We went for dinner and to watch football. Great place. Staff is so friendly and attentive. Food is really good. The pub has a separate entrance but is basically in same building as Bocelli's - owned by same person. Restrooms were very clean. Parking is a little tough at times, small parking lot but if you're used to downtown Waynesville, you understand the parking“

“Food cook exactly the way it should be. Great service. ALL the staff were so pleasant and friendly. The banter back and forth between them was absolutely entertaining and made us smile. I have ate at multiple waffle houses in multiple states for years and this one is my favorite by far. A lot of the others act like you are an interruption in their day. No smiles no greetings and you constantly have to ask for refills. Not the case at the one in Canton. We will be stopping in there again on our travels through the state.“

“So to be fully honest this particular Waffle house has a cook named Daniel that is actually amazing. When he is there the food is so good. The posted pictures are of his perfectly cooked fluffy omelettes. So the five stars for food is all his doing. He is a super sweet gentleman who works on Sunday thru Wednesday late nights. We have stopped going other nights because every time he is not there the food is not ok. There was one night we went in and a young tall guy told us they were only doing to go orders so we were about to leave. The cook apparently was just coming in for his shift and said I don't know why he said that come on in I will take care of you guys. He served us and cooked our food and it was a perfect experience. So for this store it all depends on who is working if everything will be ok or not. That same young male server I have personally watched him be so rude several times to different customers. I don't even accept him as a server.“
