Panera Bread in Durham

“The food is reasonably fresh and offers great value for the price. The staff are generally friendly and helpful. One time, when they had run out of hot water in the self-service area, a staff member kindly provided me with a cup of hot water from behind the counter. I really appreciated the thoughtful service.“

“Wasn't familiar with Panera. Bought a bagel with cream cheese. They delivered an uncut, cold bagel. As I was cutting through the bagel, a young lady said that they would have done that for me. I asked why the bagel was cold, she replied I had to ask for a toasted and sliced bagel. When she realized I didn't know, she went and got me a toasted and sliced bagel. Service above and beyond these days. ❤“

“Best Panera experience yet. The general manager there is out and visible on the dining floor, greeting guests, bussing tables and checking on food. His presence and oversight shows. Service was prompt and courteous. Food was fresh and delicious.“

Now granted my first one was nothing to shout over but when I took it back and asked for a remake--- absolutely worth the extra trip. My only advice is to check it before you leave but once you sit down and take a bite... game changer !!!“
