“Wow!! What a place! It is SO rare to find an establishment that has the Perfect mix of: ambiance, food, service, music, vino/drinks and Owner engagement. This place hits it out of the park. The space is magnificent. The service is second to none. They make their own wine. The entertainment was wonderful (and not overwhelming). The food is spectacular and the hosts are warm and genuine. It’s obvious this, is a labor of love. We drove in from Cashiers and will be back Very soon. Great job Dion, Cathy, Renzo and Brittany. Not to be missed!!!!!”

“last sat evening went for usual baby back rib dinner. ordered ice tea unsweet it came sweet, ordered side salad with balsamic dressing it came with honey mustard dressing, ordered 3 baby back ribs got half a slab of st louis ribs. asked for some wet wipes and they were brought over we opened two pack which ]were dry. Still gave our waitress a nice 20 % tip. Will see what happens next sat !”

“Breakfast was perfect. The waiter was friendly and prompt. The cook/manager cooked the perfect over medium eggs I've had in a long time. I got a country ham ranch platter. The country ham was also perfect. Coffee fresh. Bathrooms clean, stocked and smelled good.”

From the moment we walked in, the cozy, inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. We decided to try their pizza, and it was a revelation! The crust was perfectly crispy yet wonderfully chewy, the sauce had that rich, authentic tomato flavor, and the cheese was perfectly melted. I absolutely loved it, and the kids devoured their slices with enthusiastic approval. It’s safe to say it was a hit with the whole family! Beyond the fantastic food, the service was warm and attentive, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. This is definitely a place we'll be coming back to again and again. “My best friend and I live in Hayesville NC. We travel over the mountain just to eat here. We have never been disappointed in the food, service, etc. Every sandwich we have tried is great. We have a habit of testing Ruebins. Gazebo is the best that we have eaten. The soups of my. are fantastic as well. Today we we had a slice of Coconut Custard pie. Wow just Wow. it was amazing. I highly recommend anyone to eat there. April we love you. you are fantastic inside and out. “The smells of this place are so incredible they draw you in and then you're hooked!!! Everything is so delicious! Highly recommend the Bavarian donuts and the peach layered chilled dessert. “This is a hard one to review and I want to be fair because the people are very nice. There are 5 items there that I love. The chocolate croissants, the berry tartlets, the chocolate chip cookies, the Kringle (although it has too much icing) and flourless chocolate cake are divine. I don't like cheese mixed in my pastries like cheese Danish and cheese streudal, but if that's your thing you'll be in heaven because there are many items there filled with cheese. If you're lucky they're open 4 days a week but the week of Thanksgiving which I would have thought would be a big week for a bakery they closed and the week after they're also closed for winter break. Winter hasn't even officially started yet and that's frustrating. We used to have 3 or 4 good places to buy baked goods in town and now we only have 2 this being one of them. The location sucks in my opinion. It's located in the flea market on Highlands road. It's not exactly a place I think of to buy food. If this place were located downtown on main Street with normal operating hours it would be packed with people and their business would explode. Their product is fabulous it's just hard to get. When it comes down to it the most important thing is their food is 5 star.”

The food was fantastic—flavors that seemed to arrive with a quiet confidence, nothing showy, just genuinely good. My drinks were well-made and balanced, and my own meal was excellent in every way. I sampled my dad’s drink and took a bite of his food, and both were just as impressive as mine. It’s rare for everyone at the table to be equally happy, but that was the vibe all around us. Even our neighbor’s plates looked wonderful, like the kitchen had decided nobody would leave disappointed tonight. The atmosphere was relaxed but still felt special, the kind of place where you settle in without realizing how quickly the time passes. After just one visit, I can honestly say this is my new favorite spot. If you’re thinking about going, go. I highly recommend it.”

“Our first time trying Franklin Pizza Tavern yesterday, and we couldn’t even believe how good the food was! We ate ourselves sick on the Fire on the Mtn pizza, a cheese pizza, and the cheese bread. The best pizza we have ever had and we are so lucky to have discovered this place in our little town. 12/10 recommend that everyone tries the pizza and everything else on the menu. You will not regret it!!”

“Went with a friend for drinks and conversation during the day. Kind of quiet, I imagine the place jumps at night with the pool tables and music. We ordered an appetizer and it was good and fast. 2 drink maximum on liquor though.”

There’s a girl named Lilli with sandwich-making skills.

Crafting every number on the menu like it’s art divine.

With a smile sharp as the slice of fresh-cut provolone,
She turns a simple hoagie into something all her own.
The oregano falls like confetti in the breeze,
And suddenly you’re thinking, yeah… I could eat two of these.

She asks, “Mike’s Way?” in a voice soft and kind—
And somehow it feels like she’s reading your mind.
Pickles placed perfect, tomatoes aligned,
A sandwich so balanced, even poets might rhyme.

Whether it’s the rush at noon or the quiet of late,
Lilli works with a calm that can only be fate.
You leave with a sub… but also a grin,
Because food made with heart always wins.

So here’s to Jersey Mike’s, and here’s to Lilli the star—
The queen of the slicer, the hero behind the bar.
If excellence had flavors or kindness a name,
Lilli’s the reason this shop earns its fame.

I took one bite and saw every mistake I’ve ever made,

“This place.... this IS the place. Best freaking Asian persuasion food out there. He don't skimp on it either. If you're a hobbit, you can use a meal here for 2 meals, which is what I usually do because he gives you so much food. It's more tasty than anything else out here.

The staff is inattentive, frequently runs out of popular ice cream flavors, and closes prior to the posted hours of operation. It is unfortunate, as this used to be a preferred establishment. It appears that Sylva will now receive our business. This is very disappointing.”

“Went tonight first time in a while thought we'd give it another try. My husband ordered the seafood buffet he said it was fine. I waited and waited on a waitress to bring me a menu. Flag down the hostess who told the waitress I was waiting, she passed our table twice and gave me I'll be right back. When she finally came back I placed the order.. simple chicken tenders. My husband was finished with two plates and ready to go home before they ever brought my food and this was after I told the waitress just cancel. The cashier was nice she asked me about my food I said I have no idea I'm taking it home since my husband is finished. She called the manager up. The manager said oh let me give you a discount. a grand total of $1.50 off of a $41 ticket. big deal. We won't be going back”

“Ignore any of the negative reviews, because you ABSOLUTELY NEED to try the Cuban-Quesadilla!!! The quesadilla came in a very generous portion (I'm a pretty big guy, and still resorted to splitting it with my wife... and we still ended up taking some home in a to-go box) and it was unbelievably delicious. It's everything you want from a savory Cuban sandwich, but thrown together in a perfect lightly-crisped tortilla. We also enjoyed some Cuban-coffee that was to-die-for and some beautiful and yummy croquettes. Do yourself a favor and give the kids a few bucks to blow at the arcade while you and yours get to enjoy a lovely Cuban date.”

“Everybody knows that the town of Franklin is probably one of the only towns in Western North Carolina. Which has waged this ongoing weird sort of lame war on the homeless. There are virtually zero resources for those who are struggling severely to get and keep some work or to maintain some sense of dignity. While this is my lifelong community's greatest shame, and embarrassment, by which Franklin sort of quietly suffers--its Bojangles has been an otherwise brilliant, quiet and unexpected little exception to this gay little rule. The restaurant really has done a great job of standing out And being part of the decency of our locals. As someone who is also struggling and homeless out here in the cold without a place or family to help me, this restaurant has gone above and beyond to help me simply eat a warm meal every once in a while. I highly recommend this restaurant.. It's gotta be pretty f****** embarrassing, too. Treat a homeless man any differently than how this Bojingles does. I call it... Hobojangles! =D”
