“Breakfast was perfect. The waiter was friendly and prompt. The cook/manager cooked the perfect over medium eggs I've had in a long time. I got a country ham ranch platter. The country ham was also perfect. Coffee fresh. Bathrooms clean, stocked and smelled good.”

The space is magnificent. The service is second to none. They make their own wine. The entertainment was wonderful (and not overwhelming). The food is spectacular and the hosts are warm and genuine. It’s obvious this, is a labor of love. We drove in from Cashiers and will be back Very soon. Great job Dion, Cathy, Renzo and Brittany. Not to be missed!!!!!”

“What an absolute delight! We stumbled upon this hidden gem of an Italian restaurant, and it truly lived up to its name. From the moment we walked in, the cozy, inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. We decided to try their pizza, and it was a revelation! The crust was perfectly crispy yet wonderfully chewy, the sauce had that rich, authentic tomato flavor, and the cheese was perfectly melted. I absolutely loved it, and the kids devoured their slices with enthusiastic approval. It’s safe to say it was a hit with the whole family! Beyond the fantastic food, the service was warm and attentive, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. This is definitely a place we'll be coming back to again and again. If you're looking for incredible Italian food in a charming setting, this hidden jewel is a must-visit!”

“My best friend and I live in Hayesville NC. We travel over the mountain just to eat here. We have never been disappointed in the food, service, etc. Every sandwich we have tried is great. We have a habit of testing Ruebins. Gazebo is the best that we have eaten. The soups of my. are fantastic as well. Today we we had a slice of Coconut Custard pie. Wow just Wow. it was amazing. I highly recommend anyone to eat there. April we love you. you are fantastic inside and out. “Lazy Hiker is a very great brewery! We had The Trail Mate, Uncle’s Vice, Sunset Sour Ale, and Dad Jokes and all were super tasty! We tried the fries and mozzarella sticks and they were pretty freaking good too. Best curly fries ever. Top notch establishment fo sho”

“last sat evening went for usual baby back rib dinner. ordered ice tea unsweet it came sweet, ordered side salad with balsamic dressing it came with honey mustard dressing, ordered 3 baby back ribs got half a slab of st louis ribs. asked for some wet wipes and they were brought over we opened two pack which ]were dry. Still gave our waitress a nice 20 % tip. Will see what happens next sat !”

“We have always had a wonderful experience here. Might I say, we probably go a little too much. Lol. Out of the many times we have been here in the 2 years since they opened, I have had 1 mobile order mess up with the wrong sandwich. I came right back and they more than made up for it. The staff is always so kind, food is fresh and I really love the fun, kid events that they plan and the charitable things they do for our community. Highly recommend!”

“This place is a hidden gem. I needed a birthday cake last minute (11/27). I didn't want the standard grocery store cake. I found this bakery on Google. Stopped in and purchased a Tres Leche cake. It was a beautiful cake and we all devoured it on Thanksgiving. It was absolutely amazing. I also purchased jalapeño bread, pastries and bread budding. Everything was wonderful. The bread pudding was the best that I have ever had. The young man and woman that were in the bakery were extremely pleasant. I highly recommend this bakery.”

“Attached to Outdoor 76 in downtown Franklin, this little bar area serves as a perfect relax spot before or after you do your resupply &/or gear swaps. Features a small selection of drought beer on tap as well as canned selection from local breweries. Shuffleboard and darts and a hightop 360 access bar with stools - between the darts and shuffleboard - for socializing.”

“Didn't order food. But the people are friendly, nice pool tables, good drinks, but bar closes early if only a few customers. A couple bartenders were lazy...Didn't want to retrieve our glasses/ had to take our own glasses to the bar ( mind you this night wasn't busy) and then instead of giving us clean glasses the bartender made our drinks in the same glasses we brought up to the bar. Needless to say, we didn't tip on 2 of the 3 nights we were there. Our 1st night was great. Polite bartender, she also waited on tables and fixed our drinks in new glasses every time. Don't remember her name but she was awesome.”

The staff is inattentive, frequently runs out of popular ice cream flavors, and closes prior to the posted hours of operation. It is unfortunate, as this used to be a preferred establishment. It appears that Sylva will now receive our business. This is very disappointing.”

“Everybody knows that the town of Franklin is probably one of the only towns in Western North Carolina. Which has waged this ongoing weird sort of lame war on the homeless. There are virtually zero resources for those who are struggling severely to get and keep some work or to maintain some sense of dignity. While this is my lifelong community's greatest shame, and embarrassment, by which Franklin sort of quietly suffers--its Bojangles has been an otherwise brilliant, quiet and unexpected little exception to this gay little rule. The restaurant really has done a great job of standing out And being part of the decency of our locals. As someone who is also struggling and homeless out here in the cold without a place or family to help me, this restaurant has gone above and beyond to help me simply eat a warm meal every once in a while. I highly recommend this restaurant.. It's gotta be pretty f****** embarrassing, too. Treat a homeless man any differently than how this Bojingles does. I call it... Hobojangles! =D”

“Ignore any of the negative reviews, because you ABSOLUTELY NEED to try the Cuban-Quesadilla!!! The quesadilla came in a very generous portion (I'm a pretty big guy, and still resorted to splitting it with my wife... and we still ended up taking some home in a to-go box) and it was unbelievably delicious. It's everything you want from a savory Cuban sandwich, but thrown together in a perfect lightly-crisped tortilla. We also enjoyed some Cuban-coffee that was to-die-for and some beautiful and yummy croquettes. Do yourself a favor and give the kids a few bucks to blow at the arcade while you and yours get to enjoy a lovely Cuban date.”

The og chicken sandwich was really good and the lettuce was nice and crisp, not wilted, etc and a decent amount. The cashier was wonderful! She was patient and helpful. The employees were so friendly! I left, almost not caring of the good was bad. Receiving good friendly customer service isn't always easy to find. Well done to that location. Keep up the good work.”

“On our way back from Tennessee, we stopped at Fat Buddies Ribs & BBQ, drawn in by the hype around their famous ribs. Having never tried real American ribs before, I was excited to see if they were as amazing as everyone says. I went all-in with "The Rack Attack" – a full rack of smoked baby back ribs served with fries and cole slaw.
The ribs were hands down the best I've ever tasted. The glaze was incredibly flavorful. It was truly the star of the meal and well worth the stop. The portion was massive, too! The fries were okay, and the cole slaw and garlic bread were both enjoyable sides, but the ribs were absolutely unmatched.I also tried their fried okra, which, although interesting, didn’t quite suit my taste. But if you’re outside the U.S. and curious about authentic American BBQ, these ribs are a must-try. Even my cousin, with his refined palate, agreed that these were some of the best ribs he’s ever had. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to dive into American BBQ!”
