“I believe she said her name is Loni but she’s one of the managers & when I say this woman is the absolute BEST at her job I mean that! Her personality is awesome, she remembers me & how I like my order every single time!! I work in customer service & she is everything a company needs to succeed❣ I drive 30 minutes out of my way just because of her, she makes my mornings better 💖“

“This place is amazing. My daughter and husband got the gluten free maple, sprinkles and strawberry donuts. They have celiac and haven’t had a real good donut in a long time. They were so happy. I had the regular donut with chocolate peanut butter and it was wonderful. Whether you have a gluten allergy or not this is a great place. Owner was super nice and gave helpful GF suggestions for us on the island. Gift shop is cute too!“

“The cutest little shop with the most amazing ice cream and staff! the girl working was super nice and let me try a sample of the ice cream to make sure I liked it and service was very fast. Just the atmosphere of the shop in general will have us recommending it to all friends and family who also plan to make a trip here!“
“Great latte and the cutest treats for your pups!“

“Do yourself a favor and order the Frozen Espresso Cappuccino with Hazelnut flavoring. Our group visited Big Bucks everyday of vacation and have zero regrets 😍 so delicious!“
“The negative reviews on this place really need to lighten up and take this place for what it is: a simple ice cream shop. If you’re looking for steakhouse restaurant, white glove customer service, this isn’t that place. But, you CAN get good ice cream or frozen yogurt, with an incredible selection of flavors and toppings. Offer the young kid who’s scoooing your scoop a smile and a kind word and you get it right back. If you’re up in Corolla (or on your way to/from Corova), this is a good little stop-in. Oh, they also have a mini mart and small grocery section!!“

“This location serves a great need in Corolla for a solid place to take the family to for ice cream. It’s Dairy Queen so of course you know it but don’t expect all the regular stuff you might get at your local location. Based on the nature of OBX, it can get absolutely packed in here sometimes with large families so it can move slow.“

“I picked up some freeze dried candies for my children for Christmas and they were a big hit. Our favorites were the fruit roll ups and Jolly ranchers. We love stopping in for unique candies and ice cream. A great family owned and operated, local, small business to support.“
