“Easter breakfast was our first time at Henry's. It was by far one of the best breakfast experiences we've had. From the moment we walked in the door we were made to feel like family. Christina couldn't have been more accommodating...making sure everything was to our liking, without being overbearing. And it was the little things that mattered. May sound silly to most, but having syrup on the table for your flapjacks...when ordering hot tea, they bring you a cup of hot water, a tea bag, PLUS a silver container of hot water to place your "used" tea bag in, should you desire another cup of tea. Also, creamer was right on the table. The menu even made sense...build your own omelet.....you pay for what you want! It seemed like all the Employees chipped in. I never saw anyone just standing around. We will certainly be back, and refer folks we know to Henry's. Thank you.”

It’s nice to have great service. Seems to not be the case most places anymore. We only got drinks and an app but definitely would go back!”

“Modern Coastal Cookery Supper Club is the perfect date night on the Outer Banks. We attended the Italian-themed evening and loved every minute. The table setting was elegant and welcoming, setting the tone right away. Virginia and her crew were absolutely fabulous. Highlights included hand-whipped ricotta crostini, local green-tail shrimp arancini, and a rich, comforting fettuccine carbonara. The affogato—made with homemade vanilla gelato—was the perfect way to end the night. Family-style seating encouraged great conversation and added to the intimate, memorable experience. Highly recommend.”

“What can I say..well let's start here. The owner is a friend of mine I've know for a few years now. And to say he is a baker does not do him justice. He is well knowledged in what he is doing. And to step into his bakery is well...PROOF. He takes his business seriously to say the least. Professional is key word here. So if you are looking to find the finest homemade Delectables to take home and enjoy and share look no further. There are many fine upstanding bakeries here on the Outer Banks. Do not let this one slip through your fingers or tastebuds.”

“I've been coming down to the Outer Banks every November for the past 32 years. Somehow I had never ran across this gem. The coffee and ice cream are perfect. We really enjoyed the malt. I also thoroughly enjoyed their specialty menu for The Fall season! We went several days and enjoyed the view, everyone that we met who worked there was great! We loved the swanky seating, the eccentric seating, and the overall beauty of this place! HIGHLY recommend checking it out!!!”

“We were looking for pizza close to where we were staying, and this was it!! It was so good! The crust was crispy on the bottom, super soft on the inside. The sauce and toppings were also a hit. So so so good!”

“Very good burgers, fries and shakes. The staff is friendly and works hard getting orders out. Food portions are great with more fries than most folks can eat. Our local 5 Guys could use a bit more cleaning as far a tables but the staff never stops working and seem to try to keep up but they appear shirt staffed. The floors are slippery sometimes.”

“The sportsbar portion of Captain George's restaurant. Full menu available, including the seafood buffet. TV'S all around, even in the booths. Hard not to find the game or event you're looking for. It's loud, but that's because folks are eating, drinking, and having a good time. They do have a bar food menu that's pretty good, and always drink specials. Off season it's usually full of locals there to hang out and catch the game.”

Outstanding service even though the place was crowded. My only complaint is the place is kind of cramped and noisy but that's obviously how their customers like it!”

Long story short another on was on our table and fell off onto my husband's lap. Disgusting!! Never Again. The place was bit that crowded now i know why. EXTERMINATE PLEASE!!!!!”

“I want to commend the staff and management. Tonight I sat for a while waiting for my pizza and although it had been a very long day and it seemed like I constantly was being held up trying to get home, these workers were great. They were very friendly and kept their composure like they always do when I am in there and witness the impatient and rude behavior of others. Especially a group that seemed to think that just because there was 1 table there that it meant it was a sit down restaurant that should have been at their beck and call. Clearly allot of people get pizza there every night so it is hard to keep their warmer full. Personally I prefer getting it nice and hot:) Even with the rude mutterings not so quietly thrown their way they remained friendly and were constantly working and pleasant. So yet again I commend them and I am thankful for the military service of the owner and am glad they are able to post it proudly on their window.”
