I’m a Homebrewer and enjoy my beer, but for a change of pace I like to go to Beach Bottle because of their wide selection on tap and they have a great selection of 6 packs for take out that you will not find at other places on the beach. And if you’re hungry,Ten 0 six is right next and has great food. My wife and I go there once a week for dinner and a beer. They also have a great selection of wines to drink there and to take home.”

“Modern Coastal Cookery Supper Club is the perfect date night on the Outer Banks. We attended the Italian-themed evening and loved every minute. The table setting was elegant and welcoming, setting the tone right away. Virginia and her crew were absolutely fabulous. Highlights included hand-whipped ricotta crostini, local green-tail shrimp arancini, and a rich, comforting fettuccine carbonara. The affogato—made with homemade vanilla gelato—was the perfect way to end the night. Family-style seating encouraged great conversation and added to the intimate, memorable experience. Highly recommend.”

“What can I say..well let's start here. The owner is a friend of mine I've know for a few years now. And to say he is a baker does not do him justice. He is well knowledged in what he is doing. And to step into his bakery is well...PROOF. He takes his business seriously to say the least. Professional is key word here. So if you are looking to find the finest homemade Delectables to take home and enjoy and share look no further. There are many fine upstanding bakeries here on the Outer Banks. Do not let this one slip through your fingers or tastebuds.”

“I've been coming down to the Outer Banks every November for the past 32 years. Somehow I had never ran across this gem. The coffee and ice cream are perfect. We really enjoyed the malt. I also thoroughly enjoyed their specialty menu for The Fall season! We went several days and enjoyed the view, everyone that we met who worked there was great! We loved the swanky seating, the eccentric seating, and the overall beauty of this place! HIGHLY recommend checking it out!!!”

“The best ice cream on the beach! It’s all homemade using the finest ingredients. The flavor combos the master chef creates will give you a treat that cannot be matched anywhere else. I try to get something different each visit but everything is so delicious it’s hard not to want a scoop of the flavors I already love plus try something new that I know I’ll enjoy just as much! “Easter breakfast was our first time at Henry's. It was by far one of the best breakfast experiences we've had. From the moment we walked in the door we were made to feel like family. Christina couldn't have been more accommodating...making sure everything was to our liking, without being overbearing. And it was the little things that mattered. May sound silly to most, but having syrup on the table for your flapjacks...when ordering hot tea, they bring you a cup of hot water, a tea bag, PLUS a silver container of hot water to place your "used" tea bag in, should you desire another cup of tea. Also, creamer was right on the table. The menu even made sense...build your own omelet.....you pay for what you want! It seemed like all the Employees chipped in. I never saw anyone just standing around. We will certainly be back, and refer folks we know to Henry's. Thank you.”

“We had an amazing experience at JK’s, thanks in large part to our incredible server, Emily! She was fun, knowledgeable, and handled our large party flawlessly.
The Service & Atmosphere:
We arrived with a large party of 16. They sat us within 45 minutes by splitting us into two nearby tables, which worked perfectly for us.
Vibe: The restaurant is bustling, energetic, and filled with people having a great time. It’s probably not the best spot for a quiet, intimate date night, but it was absolutely perfect for our group.
The Food: Everything we ordered was delicious and incredibly well done. From the bread and butter to the soups, salads, and main entrees, the kitchen nailed every single dish.
Area for Improvement: The only downside to our evening was the hostess at the front entrance. She wasn't warm or inviting, and unfortunately, she came across as quite rude to some of the elderly members of our group. We are hoping she is just new and still learning customer service skills.
The Verdict:
Despite the rocky start at the door, Emily completely made up for it the second we sat down. Her exceptional kindness and attentiveness saved the night. If you are thinking about trying JK’s, go for it! The food and waitstaff are well worth the visit.”

“We were looking for pizza close to where we were staying, and this was it!! It was so good! The crust was crispy on the bottom, super soft on the inside. The sauce and toppings were also a hit. So so so good!”

“Tasty burgers with most toppings free of charge. I usually enjoy the generous portion of fries better than the burger. The burgers are a little overprices but, the fries make up for the cost. The Freestyle Coke machine is a plus, as is the free peanuts. My burger was prepared quickly and correctly. The staff is efficient. The location is clean and well maintained.”

“I want to commend the staff and management. Tonight I sat for a while waiting for my pizza and although it had been a very long day and it seemed like I constantly was being held up trying to get home, these workers were great. They were very friendly and kept their composure like they always do when I am in there and witness the impatient and rude behavior of others. Especially a group that seemed to think that just because there was 1 table there that it meant it was a sit down restaurant that should have been at their beck and call. Clearly allot of people get pizza there every night so it is hard to keep their warmer full. Personally I prefer getting it nice and hot:) Even with the rude mutterings not so quietly thrown their way they remained friendly and were constantly working and pleasant. So yet again I commend them and I am thankful for the military service of the owner and am glad they are able to post it proudly on their window.”

“Myself and my 2 year old boy went there for a late dinner after a long day at the beach and I was blown away with the hospitality and service of everyone there, especially Yusuf. He paid me a compliment I will never forget. He told me “You’re doing a great job, keep it up” as a single dad that meant more than words can explain. I stopped him shortly after and thank him for his compliment to which he said “he is so happy and friendly because of you and you should be proud.” we continued enjoying our delicious food. Everyone there was beyond nice to my son who would say hi and give fist bumps to everyone that walked by then finished up with some cake and cookies. As I was waiting for the check another server came up and informed me that I don’t need to wait for my check and someone had taken care of it for us which made me tear up as thing have been rough lately but I always do everything I can to give my son a happy and good life and when I asked who. He said they had already gone but I received a blessing I deserved. I will never forget tonight and the kindness of everyone that works there and the wonderful person that I never got to thank. So if by some chance you read this. Thank you truly.”
