“I found this place on the “find me gluten free” app when looking for somewhere to go for dinner. It is 30 minutes away but worth the drive. “This is the only time I have EVER felt the need to leave a review. But I felt so inclined to leave one since it was such an amazing experience. I was raised in Lexington and wanted to come back to take my boyfriend here since I remember the sandwiches (especially THE BREAD) were so delicious. As soon as we sat down we had the most amazing service, the food came out quickly, and I got to see the look on my boyfriend’s face when he bit into their roast beef sandwich and died in heaven. Their ranch is perfection, the curly fries and potato wedges are addictive, and THE SERVICE. Those girls who were working today at 2:00 PM have given some of the best customer service I’ve experienced in years. My boyfriend joked and said “if you are going to leave a review, let me check and see if the bathrooms are clean to give the full scope”. He came back and said “5 stars” and I said “are you serious lol”? He said “Yeah like a spotless bathroom, I’m not joking - the only bad thing about this place is that it is not closer to my house”. 5 Stars ⭐️ Will be back to enjoy again soon!“

“It’s been more than 15 years since I last visited Speedy’s BBQ after moving out of the area. It’s always a bit of a question after that much time how a place holds up. So excited to see this place sticking to tradition and clearly has not floundered over the years.
This is top of the line NC pork bbq! Always has been and continues to one of my very favorite places to find this style of bbq done right.
The staff is friendly and welcoming and the service on point. It’s been redecorated some since my last visit but continues to have nice country appeal.
I had the chopped bbq sandwich with slaw. I found the best way to eat it is dump it opened onto plate and then drenched in their homemade sauce. Hit the spot!
Definitely wish I still lived closer but will always stop in when passing through.“

“CB has always been a family favorite. Food honestly not what it used to be im thinking cut backs, recipe changes tweeks something is different however, somethings are for the better of course. “Located in the heart of Tyro, NC.

Their Greek Salad with grilled chicken and their Chicken Caesar Salad are great. The chicken is marinated, seasoned, and grilled, making it savory and juicy.

Their traditional bone-in Buffalo Wings are excellent. The largest wings I've had so far.

Their Strombolis and Calzones are great. Stuffed with your choice of options and baked golden brown. And a large is large. I can eat two to three meals from each.

Update 23Jun2024: If I get a stromboli from here, it is usually the Steak Special Stromboli. But today, I tried the New York Stromboli with ham, pepperoni, cheese, and other stuff with oregano and other spices on the crust. I can mumble, "WOW!" and "YUM!" But I can't say anymore because my mouth is full.“

My major complaint I have is that the kitchen a/c unit was out. They had the kitched doors propped open so they wouldn't be so hot 🥵 I totally understand that and wouldn't want them to suffer in that kind of heat. But, it made the dining room very warm!😳😬 oh, and our table had no lighting at all! But the food and saitress were amazing! Thank you so much!“

“What a great local watering hole. It's not fancy, but the food is top-notch. The gravy biscuit is the best in town, along with their chili dogs and double cheeseburgers. I LOVE their unsweetened tea.
The folks behind the counter are terrific. They take good care of my hubby and me.“

“I love me some Waffle House! I usually only get breakfast items, but today, because of Savanah (Savi); I ate a great deluxe burger with cheese, bacon and grilled onions, lettuce and pickles with eggs on the side. It was so delicious, fresh and juicy. I didn't know it would be that good!

“I’ve tried iHOP several times in Dubai, but this was my first time trying it in Canada! I’d been waiting for a halal menu, and finally got to try it last Sunday for breakfast with my group around 10:30 am. We ordered the Egg Benedict Spicy Polano, Avocado Toast, Big Steak Omelette, Chocolate Chip Pancakes, Vanilla Creamy Cold Foam Brew, Coffee, and Chicken Fajita Omelette. It's a great spot with plenty of options. Our server, Jai, was very friendly and prompt, and the order was taken with perfect accuracy something that often gets messed up at other places when we go out as a large group!“
