“I go here multiple times a week and have never been disappointed. The coffee, pastries, and the staff are all wonderful. Highly recommend to anyone nearby.Vegetarian options: Not a single thing there that wouldn’t be vegetarianDietary restrictions: They offer different types of milk if you may be allergic, or lactose intolerant. There’s no meat in the shop, and I’ve only ever seen one item that contains nuts, but there could be more I haven’t noticed.Parking: At first glance it doesn’t seem like there’s a ton of parking, but there is plenty, and also plenty of exits depending on how you like to converge into traffic.Kid-friendliness: The people are incredibly kind to the kids, and there are plenty of pastries and other drinks besides coffee for any kids. I’ve seen plenty of parents in the shop, and there’s never been any issues“
“I'm sure the have the adult beverage your looking for and the hotdogs are great. Eclectic type of vibe in Monroe. Great lil hang out on the sidewalk and watch the happenings of town place. Service was great. The cashier/order taker dude was very engaging and offered assistance several times while I perused the menu board.“
“This is the best coffee shop we have ever found. They are a friendly, customer focused shop that also has yummy baked goods. Forget those large chain coffee shops with products that come from gosh knows where. This place is all organic and top quality! You really need to try this place out!“
“The Panini's are awesome, bread is baked locally and you can tell the quality is excellent. The owner and young lady serving were very sweet and helpful. Some cool imported Italian products to choose from as well. Well worth the visit. Will be back.“
“Came for lunch and it was awesome!! Staff were kind, patient (so many yummy options I was contemplating what to get!!) and even brought coffee and food to me. Also very clean!! The Milky Way latte was PERFECT! I had a breakfast sandwich and it was AMAZING. I don’t leave reviews but this place deserves one!! I can’t wait to go back ?“
“An absolute hidden gem ! Lots of local items , specialty season baskets ( Easter is coming) outstanding coffee and the best baked goods . The rotation of baked goods keeps us coming back . We have sampled many items and can't pick a favorite as there as so many yummy options . The sausage balls are also delicious - a tasty protein snack that my boys cannot get enough of . The owner is friendly and welcoming- not to mention a very skilled baker with a flair for delightful treats. This weekend we grabbed hot cocoa , a bag of goodies and enjoyed a relaxing swing on the porch . A great small business . We just love The Packing House and all it has to offer. So . Darn . Good.“
“I’ve been here a couple of times and I love it, I do wish there were menus on the wall that you can read while waiting in line (they do have smaller ones for food and seasonal items) Other than that I love coming here!! The coffee is amazing!“
“Drinks were out quickly! The thai tea was a perfect sweetness and the tea flavor was amazing! The strawberry tornado was fresh, and the yakult separated into two parts, not sure if that's supposed to happen! Boba was sweet, soft, and chewy!“
“First time here & the atmosphere is everything! Super friendly & the matcha tea is literally the best I've ever tried. I've only tried the focaccia as of yet but it is to die for! You can tell that they put all the love & care into their food & use fresh ingredients. Will definitely be back.“
“So glad we’ve found this local coffee shop with a great customer service and absolutely delicious coffee, and sweets. Inside the coffee shop is a very cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Me and my husband have enjoyed it very much. We would definitely want to come here again.“
“My daughter introduced me to the Uptown Tea Shop in Waxhaw a couple of months ago by buying some loose leaf tea for me. It wasn’t until yesterday that I went to the shop with her to see for myself. From the outside, you see a house and there are three shops inside. The quality of the decor could be slightly upgraded. The Uptown Tea Shop is in a medium size bedroom which has been converted to a little store. Here against the walls are nearly every flavor and types of loose leaf teas you can imagine. I typically like herbal teas and caffeine free teas and finding something new was fairly easy. There are also tea accessories such as canisters to keep your teas fresh. The prices I found to be inline with the quality of the teas. The customer service associate was polite, helpful and welcoming; needless to say I will be supporting this small business in the future.“
“Nice coffee shop and great coffee. Reminds me of a coffee shop we would visit in the Smokey Mountains. Seating downstairs and upstairs. Albeit upstairs feels like you’re hanging out in a storage room. We like to sit outside and watch the Waxhaw traffic go by. Lots of parking around there. Lots of locals but coffee here. Lots of people study and read here. The smoothies are good too.Parking: Parking on their lot. And across both streets. No charge.“
“This quiet cafe is a gem in the rough. I ordered a cappuccino and cinnamon muffin which came to about $12 with a modest tip. I'd expect to pay around $14 at the most for coffee for two. Orders are done on the front counter (no kiosk), seating is plentiful and there's even a digital fireplace for a toasty get together! This quiet cafe feels like home though home also has a cortado on the menu;) (if I had to nitpick).P.S. The owner is really genuine and makes you feel like family rather than a customer.Coffee✓ Conversation✓ Community✓Don't sleep on this cozy cafe!“
“This is the place to go for some great Columbian cuisine. I have loved it for years. I moved away from this area years ago but when visiting last week this is where I wanted to eat.Super people that work there. I have always had a good experience.“
“The new older is extremely nice, friendly and much better then the previous owner. I am excited to see that changes he has made and the food is fresh and delicious. Had their new chicken salad sandwich and a coffee and it was great! They also now carry Waxhaw creamery ice cream. I don’t have to go downtown waxhaw to get their ice cream“
“1st review... I typically like the coffee here especially all the different choices and the service is amazing. Two things to improve... whole milk & almond milk are not the same, please ensure I get what I pay for and the pumpkin spice is HEAVY handed. Typically I taste test at time of transaction but I was enjoying the conversation of the cashier. Got home was not satisfied... refrigerated and tried again this morning and had to dilute with home brewed coffee. My tea for the day has been spilled... thank you for your time.“
“Drive thru only coffee shop that offers coffee, smoothies refreshers, and some food. Service is quick and accurate, moving the line quickly, and staff was cheerful and friendly. Everything was good but nothing wowed me where I feel the need to go often. Will probably go back since the location is convenient, but I typically prefer coffee shops where you can sit and enjoy.“
“Super nice baristas. Although the egg sandwich comes out of plastic and is pre-made well in advance and then nuked, it hit the spot. Not being a coffee drinker I opted for the black iced tea. Again delicious. The beat part of the entire experience is sitting outside by the fountain looking over the beautiful campus of Wingate University. I just hope the view doesn't come with a parking ticket. We don't know where guest parking is. Update: Now open Saturdays 9am-1pm.“
“The coffee was great and I walked around in here and checked out there stuff too.Its for a very good cause and they also take donations here too.Come down and try the coffee.I never knew this place was here. The lady here was very friendly. Stop by guys“
“Ok, So it's a rainy early morning and I was craving a medicine ball tea. I went through the drive through and got my tea and went to my busy medical office to start my day. I took a drink and noticed the tea was very watered down. I had a waiting room full of patients and I was busy all day so I couldn't leave. I got a quick break and called just to let them know. I spoke with ASH. He was so professional & compassionate. He apologized and advised me he would make it right. I told him I just wanted a different one because I wanted one so bad. I told him I only work around the corner so I will try to come a little later in the afternoon.. Next thing I know, in comes this cheerful, gentleman with my tea in hand and gift card. He smiled and said, I'm looking for Stacy. I was in shock. He told me I had called the wrong store. But he wanted to make sure that my day got better. So he delivered my tea❤️❤️❤️❤️JUST WOW! Ash, you went over & beyond in the customer service department. It made my day.. CALL OUT TO ASH !!! Thank you for your kindness today. You need to be recognized “
“Located inside Provisions.Pulled their own shots and used the coffee they roast themselves. My unsweetened oak milk latte was one of the best espresso-based drinks I have had in quite some time since so many places have gone to automated push button shots. Rich, smooth and full-bodied, not bitter, not muddy or green-tasting. I like mine a little more in your face so I added an extra shot and it was perfect. Hoping to get here again before my visit to Waxhaw ends. Oh! I would go out of my way to enjoy their coffee.“
“Starbucks early in the morning is the best way to start the day. The baristas are here at 6 am. when the grocery store opens, ready to brew coffee and serve pastries. If you want some salt and caramel with your coffee, try the salted caramel cream cold brew. No sugar is needed with the caramel adding the sweetness and top off with salt. If that is too sweet for you, add a shot. Now you're ready to tackle the morning drive.“
“Great experience at this location. Drive thru line looked long, but they were all so efficient, it moved very quickly! Very happy because I almost didn’t stop because of the line. I ordered a caramel macchiato and tried the impossible breakfast sandwich. It was amazing! Will definitely get this sandwich again. And they made my macchiato exactly how I asked for it. Very happy!“
“Cool little spot that makes a great Americano. They have a lot of sugar free flavor options for their latte's that actually taste great too! The guy working was very nice, but seemed overwhelmed when there's a line of people, so be prepared to wait. Prices are very fair.“
