“I hope we run to the reviews for good reports as fast as we do when we are upset or critical. I was at this Mcdonald's today and a customer made a request at the window that their french fries be fresh, and I overheard the manager Kee Kee reinforce the staff "when a customer ask for fresh stuff, we give them fresh stuff. We have to honor the customers." She worked fast while speaking to her team firmly but with honor. I appreciated seeing that today. No, I don't know anyone that works there personally and I am in no way affiliated with McDonald's. Only a genuine customer.“
“Nice and chill hangout spot to enjoy some delicious banh mi! I ordered the "Our Special" banh mi, a Vietnamese iced coffee, and a bulgogi beef bun. The bread had a really nice crunchy exterior and it was nice and soft on the inside. One thing that really stood out to me on this sandwich was the pickled daikon and carrots. They were a little more sweet and acidic than I have had from other places which I loved! The other ingredients were fresh and they made their bread in house which I appreciated.I wasn't a huge fan of the Vietnamese iced coffee but this was just a preference thing. Nothing about it was bad, but I just don't have the palate for it. Mine also wasn't super sweet either, but I believe you can ask them to crank up the sweetness if you would like it to be sweeter. As I was walking out, they were restocking their baked goods shelf, and I was able to snag a bulgogi beef bun! This made me so happy as I had wanted to try one of these after seeing photos of it from other reviews. The bread was super pillowy and the meat inside was extremely flavorful. Enjoying this bun was a great way to end this food experience, and I left happy and full.“
“What an amazing place with amazing people! I stopped in to buy a dessert. I'm not a coffee fan! Kyle was working and told me he could make me something he knows I would like! I doubted him, but obliged. He made me something called Santa's Milk and Cookies Chi. It was the most delicious hot drink I've ever had! I was very pleasantly surprised! Michelle was working too. She showed me the favorites board and told me to try the Apple Pie Chi next time. I definitely will do so! This place will be a new frequent stop for me! Thank you Kyle and Michelle for getting me hooked on trying new drinks! BTW, they have great desserts!“
“My friend suggested that I go there with my daughter for lunch! This place is amazing! Love the vibe and energy! The staff is very friendly and helpful! We ordered the Thai chicken wrap. We omitted a few ingredients and asked for the sauces on the side. The wrap was delicious! We will definitely make the 1hr 45 minutes road trip to eat here again.“
“Super yummy empanadas and well-made dessert (tried the banana ? bread ? (vegan) and it just taste like any non-vegan one, good good ☺️) and like that if you add flavors to your coffee/tea is middle so you can enjoy the great taste of your, in our case, matcha and decaf americano ☕️They count with cute merchandise and eco-friendly utensils ♻️?Friendly staff and chill vibes~Definitely coming back to tried more sweets and other empanadas flavors ? (and maybe another matcha tho ?)“
“Awesome atmosphere and polite service. For the large garden in the back with outdoor seating, and free parking, I would enjoy coming back here on a regular basis if I could. The white chocolate raspberry latte I had was very good, as were our lavender scones. Highly recommended!“
“We absolutely love having an organic coffee shop around the corner from us! We always stock up on their whole been coffee to have a home. It's incredibly delicious! We tried both varieties and both are super! The family that owns it are the nicest and most welcoming people. I love all the little touches they have especially the coloring pages for the kids. Wish them all the best success!!“
“Wow! I had no idea there was legit Italian food in Indian Trail! Italian owner and it shows. I was just looking for a coffee shop and found so much more. I ended up having a cappuccino and the Vinny (Italian panini) and it was incredible. You need to come here and check it out!“
“So glad we’ve found this local coffee shop with a great customer service and absolutely delicious coffee, and sweets. Inside the coffee shop is a very cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Me and my husband have enjoyed it very much. We would definitely want to come here again.“
“Had a lovely time at High Octane Coffee. The staff was exceptionally kind; they not only brought my coffee to me as a courtesy (something rarely seen at cafes nowadays), but they also noticed how bright it was where I was sitting- they went as far as to untie the curtains so I could look at my computer properly, and not before asking if I was alright with that. It's very clear that the employees here are kind and attentive. The coffee I also bought, a caramel macchiato, was great! I am excited to go back soon and try their waffles. Last, but certainly not least, the atmosphere here is beautiful and really clean.“
“Love Good Cup! They are GOOD people serving GOOD Coffee! ❤ They are set up at the Matthews Farmers Market every Saturday morning with the espresso machine as well as whole bean or ground coffee bags to purchase if you want to make a GOOD cup at home. ❤ The Aslan is one of my favorites! I also follow them on IG @goodcup to get up dates on any pop ups, events, etc they will be at around the Charlotte area!“
“I am so glad I found out about this place from my daughter! They have the best donuts and it's always so good! And the workers and owners are always so welcoming! We try to make it on once a week for a donut for lunch! <3 we love it ! Won't be going to any other donut shop!“
“Love this little nook! The only thing is the seating is limited indoors, it gets crowded quickly. The coffee is a miss for me. But I love getting the queen bee and adding an extra shot for flavor! The music is hit or miss for me. But never distracting or obnoxious. The muffins are lovely and the gluten free baked goods are so tasty. The folks who serve are lovely. And the aesthetic of the shop is nice. I love the old photos in the bathrooms, all the natural light and the fountain outside in the back, the hardwood flooring. And the artwork, notebooks, pens, mugs etc are wonderful. Absolutely lovely spot to hang in the spring and fall! They really did a wonderful job with the space they have. Just wish the coffee game was bumped up a bit. ;) that would be the icing on the cake! ?Dietary restrictions: Gluten free muffins are game changers!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes! Through the back!“
“The girls working there were so friendly. In total I spent around $9.50 for the Strawberry Mango Tea with lychee and mango jelly at 75% sweetness. It was super delicious and not too sweet. Although, I ordered thinking it would be like an actual tea, but it looked more like slush. 10/10 would recommend and will be coming anytime I'm in this area!“
“Nice spot for a casual lunch in Elizabeth. It was pretty crowded on a Saturday afternoon but there was plenty of seating. I like that you walk up to the window and order and then they text you when the food is ready. I ordered the bbq chicken pizza. It was pretty big and loaded with toppings! I loved the fresh flavors of the cilantro and the pickled onions. All of the ingredients went together.“
“Came here after eating dinner nearby. Tried the Matcha and Vanilla twist soft serve. The ice cream was good a large portion, which I suppose justifies the higher cost.Want to come back and try the refreshers. Heard it is similar to drinks in S. Korea.Cute atmosphere and friendly service!“
“As a vegetarian this is by far my favorite breakfast place in Charlotte. Great people, quaint little area, and incredible food. From their breakfast sandwiches with egg, cheese, hash brown, and vegan sausage on their house Bolilo or the vegan buffalo chix sandwich with house ranch, as well as the great smoothies and coffee....this place rocks.Vegetarians/Vegans in Charlotte, NC who have not had a chance to step in and have a bite in the cozy atmosphere with the great owner/staff are missing out big-time!Vegetarian options: Plentiful, and delicious!Dietary restrictions: Very catering to all needs, as all items seem quite customizable with many substitutes available across the board!Parking: Plentiful, and easy!Wheelchair accessibility: Oof, this is the one and only place where I am uncertain as someone who does not use a wheelchair...the interior seating areas are rather cramped, and I barely can walk between tables (e.g. to/from the condiment area or from the ordering area to tables/bar by the window) without turning sideways. There are outside tables, though, for folk in wheelchairs. I imagine (given how kind, accommodating owners are) that space could be made inside or a table moved to the interior front entrance area!“
“Great local coffee spot. I think they have the best lattes in town. You should definitely check it out if you like coffee and want to support a local business!Parking: Depending on when you go, the parking could be fine or difficult. They're in a corner of the shopping center and if any other business is busy, it can cut into the parking pretty quickly“
“Nice spot in the middle of little Mint Hill. Outside seating has heat and fans as needed. Because of the proximity to the road it can be a little loud but if you know that going in, it's not really a problem. We always bring our pup so we have never sat inside but it does have a nice vibe. Service is always good and food is good as well. A large selection of wine so I feel certain that you will find something you like.....Unless you don't drink wine;-)“
“My fiancé and I LOVE coming here on Sunday mornings for breakfast sandwiches and butterscotch coffee. From the moment you’re at the front doors, you feel like you’re in Europe. The atmosphere of the market is very inviting, and somehow calm and chaotic at the same time. The staff is kind and the place is always crowded (because of how popular they are,) but they always remain calm, cool and collected and we’ve never had a wrong order. We will keep coming back!!“
“I have visited this place with some time to kill and I had the mango mason jar. I love the fruit in the mason jar and also the decorated fruit. This is a great drink. Definitely get it and also the guy at the front on the register was very nice to me that we go to the spot if you like Boba or tea it was very pretty inside as well which I really enjoyed. I love when a store feels very comforting and pretty.Parking: open parking“
“Wonderful experience! From the manager making sure we would enjoy our meal when I called early that morning about our reservations to Sergio being an absolute gracias server. The drinks were so good, and the prime rib with mash potatoes and broccolini (the au jus put it over the top) was delicious! I highly recommend.. you will not be disappointed!“
“The coffee was great and I walked around in here and checked out there stuff too.Its for a very good cause and they also take donations here too.Come down and try the coffee.I never knew this place was here. The lady here was very friendly. Stop by guys“
“I cannot say enough of how incredible the atmosphere, the culture and the people are all about Red Carpet Treatment ? It’s just amazing here and to me it is the best coffee ever! Please Open up more I’m thinking Huntersville would be a Grrrreat Location! ?“
“Neighborhood coffee is my favorite spot in Charlotte. The coffee is quality and the people are friendly and accommodating. There's a lot of space for hanging out or getting some work done. They serve a great purpose in the middle of east Charlotte which aims in helping refugees from around the world to be successful in everyday life. The merch is fire too! Come check it out.“
“I’ve actually been here dozens of times and I realize the reason I’ve never left the review. The coffee is so good that in the moment that’s all I want to focus on. The golden milk is delicious and the baristas are really technical and it makes for a great poor. I would highly recommend, also their food selections are great!Parking: The parking lot behind the building fill up quick. The street parking lot fills up quick. Good luck finding parking but if you can, it’s a treat.“
“This quiet cafe is a gem in the rough. I ordered a cappuccino and cinnamon muffin which came to about $12 with a modest tip. I'd expect to pay around $14 at the most for coffee for two. Orders are done on the front counter (no kiosk), seating is plentiful and there's even a digital fireplace for a toasty get together! This quiet cafe feels like home though home also has a cortado on the menu;) (if I had to nitpick).P.S. The owner is really genuine and makes you feel like family rather than a customer.Coffee✓ Conversation✓ Community✓Don't sleep on this cozy cafe!“
“Visited the place yesterday. My cappuccino was enjoyable (milk was steamed properly and the temperature was right (hate when it's too hot as most do). The batch brew was balanced and very tasty. The barista was very friendly.I would say this is a specialty coffee spot and unfortunately there are only few coffee shops in Charlotte area where you can find truly specialty coffee.Thank you!“
“Love coming to ShareTea for boba tea. The staff is friendly, the place is clean and there are even tables where you can sit and read or play games with your kids or friends. They have games you can borrow and sit at the tables and play.We make it a point to get boba here about once per week.Parking: Parking lot behind the building is small and tight but most people are in and out so we can always find parking.Kid-friendliness: Nice place to disconnect with your older kids to sit and have boba tea and play games.“
“AWESOME! The coffee is good & the breve is better . OMG! I was not expecting the breve to be soooo delicious. Hats off the older lady who made my Breve is Sunday morning. Also grab a Strawberry Lemonade Probiotic water! Good good! I will return when I visit again.“
“Don't let the tiny size end fool you! Talk about fall off the bone good. IRO has some of the BEST fall off the bone chicken wings EVER, so juicy, so tender, extremely flavorful. Everything I've eaten here has been delicious. The service and the ambiance are top tier!“
“The boba tea is always delicious whenever I stop in. The staff are nice, but don't always greet you. The store is clean and bright! The only real downside is, I'm not sure what air freshener or cleaner they are using, but it's always so strong when I go in and I can't wait to get my drink and leave.“
“The new older is extremely nice, friendly and much better then the previous owner. I am excited to see that changes he has made and the food is fresh and delicious. Had their new chicken salad sandwich and a coffee and it was great! They also now carry Waxhaw creamery ice cream. I don’t have to go downtown waxhaw to get their ice cream“
“As a Colombian Im telling you this is one of the best places to get Colombian food. If you are not Colombian do yourself a favor and try the empanada, pandebono, and order a Bandeja Paisa. It's what I have my non Colombian friends try and they always leave loving it.Vegetarian options: Empanadas have a cheese option and pandebono and bunuelos are just cheese and yuca/casava flour. Of course certain options like rice while the beans usually have some pork in it.Dietary restrictions: Pandebonos and bunuelos are gluten free since made with yuca/casava flour while empanadas are made with corn flour.Parking: The parking in front of store is shared with an H&R block and laundromat and the parking immediately nearby is decent. If all else fails parking can be found at Food Lion.Kid-friendliness: The restaurant offers kid friendly options. Can't exactly remember but one of my friends definitely ordered French fries for herself.Wheelchair accessibility: No immediate wheelchair access although it's just a small curb to get over. After that the inside is a little cramp but tables can be moved to accommodate.“
“I came with my three kids since two had a teacher work day. Trying to make memories.IKYK. Anyways, my kids were actually being manageable but my son decided to channel his inner babe Ruth. A perfectly executed throw of his milk bottle directly into my latte. As a mom I wanted to cry. I was overwhelmed and outnumbered. Not your moms donuts was so beyond kind and helped me clean the mess( I insisted on helping because my slugger was the reason for the now spilled coffee) then they went ahead and made me a new coffee. I’m so very thankful we ventured out to see them today. They are not only kind and so understanding to parents but also the donuts were sooo tasty. I HIGHLT RECOMMEND THEM!“
“Red velvet cake was to die for! The cannoli was just ok. The cream wasn’t very smooth and could be a little sweeter. I’ll be back to try the carrot cake.Parking: While there is a parking lot, it’s not marked so people kind of park where and how they want. You could get stuck just from someone blocking you in by making their own parking spot.“
“1st review... I typically like the coffee here especially all the different choices and the service is amazing. Two things to improve... whole milk & almond milk are not the same, please ensure I get what I pay for and the pumpkin spice is HEAVY handed. Typically I taste test at time of transaction but I was enjoying the conversation of the cashier. Got home was not satisfied... refrigerated and tried again this morning and had to dilute with home brewed coffee. My tea for the day has been spilled... thank you for your time.“
“This is a wonderful place with kind staff members and some of the best baked goods I’ve ever had! I had the cheese scone and the chocolate chip cookie, both were phenomenal. The cookie was warm, right out of the oven. One of the best spots in the Charlotte area!!“
“Tried this bakery for the first time today with my Mom. The staff is unbelievably kind and Yalexis (apologies if I butchered the spelling of her name) definitely stood out as an absolute leader. She went above and beyond to make our visit warm and hospitable. The quiche was fresh tasting and had great flavor and the chocolate croissant and cappuccino were delicious. It would be great if management could implement bringing sugar cubes (or just sugar) to the table for dine-in coffee orders rather than having to get up and grab some from the to-go bar - a very small detail but a suggestion nonetheless! Seating is tight but cozy and love that they play French music and stock a variety of market items from soaps to dried pasta and sauces.“
“Staff members are always polite if not always highly competent.Food always delicious even if not the dish ordered.Atmosphere? That’s a thing? Old people eating breakfast! I’m just glad they weren’t passing out prunes.$33.00 for two breakfasts plus $5 cash tip!“
“Cozy place to sit down and do some work in, prices are Starbucks prices so I'd say just nothing special, but they never mess up my name so doing well there. Great smell in there though, and nice seats to sit in. Baristas are nice and friendly and the atmosphere is great.“
“My Son and I came thru Charlotte from Columbia, SC. We stopped in for some breakfast. The atmosphere is cozy with music playing which is nice. The food is good. We really like the menu, lots of variety.Stop thru and grab a bite. You won’t be disappointed.“
“Drive thru only coffee shop that offers coffee, smoothies refreshers, and some food. Service is quick and accurate, moving the line quickly, and staff was cheerful and friendly. Everything was good but nothing wowed me where I feel the need to go often. Will probably go back since the location is convenient, but I typically prefer coffee shops where you can sit and enjoy.“
“I love this place. I come here almost every morning before work and it's the best part of my day. I love the employees (Shye, Chloe, Abigail, Morgan and the rest!) and I absolutely love their espresso here. I've tried a lot of coffee shops in Charlotte and Central by far has the best tasting espresso for drinks and will always be my first choice! Also, to the negative reviewers who can't get cold foam etc here.....maybe try the starbucks down the street? This isn't a chain coffee shop, so maybe stick to your chains if your expectation is for small coffee shops to have the same products :)“
“This shop is located inside Optimus hall. There is plenty of parking all around the building. Just keep an eye out as some parking must be paid after 2 hours. We visited first in the morning The staff was friendly and ready to help. They offer a small, but classic selection of baked goods and nice variety of speciality drinks. For this visit I tried the Chai latte with vanilla flavoring and almond milk. Caution: the add-ons (milk type, flavoring, etc) add up quickly. I also tried a Blueberry muffin and it was delicious. It was a little expensive, but overall, I enjoyed it and would visit again.“
“Really lovely Starbucks! The morning crew is cheerful and kind. They made me a drink while I waited for a friend who was late, and while I waited I enjoyed watching them interact with their customers. I'm not a Starbucks person, but I'd come back to this one :)“
“I was in Myrtle Beach SC at a restaurant for breakfast and got coffee with my meal. Well to make a long story short me and my friends were like this is the best coffee we’ve ever had! Asked the waitress what it was and she told us it was Java Jeff! I said well I gotta get me some soon lol! But I was very pleased with the coffee and I’m hooked now! I’ll definitely be trying to get me some soon!!!“
“My son wanted to try boba tea. After trying it he decided it wasn't his 'cup of tea', so to speak. I finished it. It was fresh and tasted great. The owner noticed my son wasn't thrilled with the boba tea. He thanked my son for trying it and gave him a complimentary ice cream. It was very thoughtful.I would give more stars for service if I could.“
“Super nice baristas. Although the egg sandwich comes out of plastic and is pre-made well in advance and then nuked, it hit the spot. Not being a coffee drinker I opted for the black iced tea. Again delicious. The beat part of the entire experience is sitting outside by the fountain looking over the beautiful campus of Wingate University. I just hope the view doesn't come with a parking ticket. We don't know where guest parking is. Update: Now open Saturdays 9am-1pm.“
“I stopped in for a latte and took a few pictures of their menu board since I didn't find them when I looked on YELP. The service was friendly and my drink was hot and delicious! I'd definitely come back to try other drinks and some of the pastries as well. The inside is small but clean. The outside has some cushioned outdoor furniture and market lights in a sectioned off part of the parking lot. I believe there may be a tv outside as well.“
