“We hired Dan & Debbie to cater our sons graduation party for 60 people! The food arrived on time, hot and tasted amazing!!! It was a hit and all the brisket, turkey & chicken wing went fast! “Sweet Lew's did not disappoint. While visiting my BFF, I decided this trip I wanted N.C Barbecue. After searching & comparing reviews we decided to try Sweet Lew's and it did not disappoint. We both had "The Sampler." I'm not a beef eater. Although, I found the brisket a tad bit dry, when drizzled with Sweet Lew's Brisket Sauce it made it enjoyable. The ribs were juicy and cooked to perfection. I tried my friends Red Coleslaw, not knowing what to expect, was the bomb. The meat was dry-rubbed with sides of Barbecue Sauce, which were vinegar base, but not overwhelming so. Overall, we really enjoyed our meals, so much that I purchased a chicken dinner to go for the next day and look forward to returning.“

“This is HANDS-DOWN THE BEST BBQ AROUND!!! Perfect bark on the pulled pork and smokey flavor. Great chicken, amazing brisket and the most tender, delicious fall off the bone ribs you will find. When I lived closer I would go 3-4 times per week and would literally have dreams about the bbq because the smoke smell would be in my hair and id be smelling it on my pillow as i sleep. I’d wake up craving the stuff 🤣 I even had them cater my wedding! Great pricing!!! This is not only the BEST BBQ around, these guys are just truly awesome people and a family business. Give them a try, your mouth will water for days 😎“

“I don’t usually leave reviews but the food we got Friday was so unbelievably delicious I had to. The ribs are smoked perfectly and the meat is so tender, falls off the bone and practically melts in your mouth. Their baked beans are so yummy and the potato salad! 💯 The potato salad is the closest to tasting like my Grandmas that I have ever been able to find. We will eagerly be waiting for the truck to be in Waxhaw again!!!!“

“Their layout is maximized for seating but it feels cramped no matter where you sit. It's a good business decision to make it so people werent waiting long for open seating, it just takes away from the experience slightly.

Ribs are very good here. Steak wasn't the worst I've had but won't order one again. Overall it was fine“

“Had lunch with a party of 16 there on Sunday after church and want to commend a job well done by our server, Lincoln. He was great!! Always had a smile on his face, everything come out as order, very attentive to our large group and great service all the way around. Steak was cooked perfect and everything else was great. “This is the Cookout I have been going to for over a year and a half now. Most of the time, they get everything right. They are human and make mistakes sometimes, buy they do make it right if they forget something. It's always hot and fresh and its pretty cheap to feed full a grown man who eats a ton and myself for less than $25. The chicken ranch wraps could use a little more ranch in myopinion but I always put a little more on it when I get home. They can also give you a ranch cup to put on it. The quesadillas are pretty good too. Sweet tea is always delicious. Thank you for being the best cookout guys!“
