“We live just north of the village and come here often. Love Yellow Mug! Order at the counter, find a table indoors or out, they will find you when your food is ready. Terrific fresh-ground coffee, creative breakfasts, sandwiches, salads (I love The One with Quinoa and Butternut Squash—yes, that is its name). Very fresh food, veg/vegan and GF options, beer and wine, excellent wifi….one of our favorite places!!!“

“just visiting AVL but I had to leave a review! everyone working here was so kind and happy to be there. they appeared to be out of blueberry crumble cake but were somehow able to find one more piece for me. our lattes were delicious and my boyfriend enjoyed the absolute heck out of his bacon egg and cheese biscuit even complimenting how the bacon was cooked. the biscuit was warm and our lattes were hot! we will definitely be back next time we’re in town“

“I go to Izzy's on Lexington regularly. It's my favorite coffee shop in Asheville. Usually Rand is the barista when I show up and he's great at his job and he's warm and friendly. The coffee is good and the baked goods (especially the fig and olive scone) are delicious. The coffee shop has great art that rotates, local artists are supported. I would recommend Izzy's to anyone and have nothing but good things to say about it.“

“Today’s holiday cup with holiday drink is awesome!!! My niece-in-law & I communicated about these awesome cups just before I purchased mine. My nephew is stationed in Alabama and they are almost daily attendees of the local Starbucks there. I love Starbucks as a whole... utilizing for brunch greatly; & coffee very regularly... Especially most Wednesday’s, where my mother & I buy breakfast for us and our publisher; for our weekly meetings, working on our books. We alternate which location we stop at in the Asheville area, depending on our schedules otherwise, but it’s always Starbucks! 😎🤙“

“This place is so great that we ate breakfast there every morning that we were in Asheville. On day one I had the Goat of Monte Cristo. They put their homemade raspberry preserve on it and it was mouth watering. I actually asked if I could buy a jar of it and bless their hearts they sold me a jar of the preserve, which is something that they don't normally do. Thanks you so much again. I am enjoying it at home now. Everything we ate was excellent, every day. They are located in the Grove Arcade Building. DON'T MISS IT!!!!“

“We have visited once for dinner and once for breakfast and I have a tough time putting down my utensils. Dinner with 4 had tartar and mussels and calamari apps and all were perfect. I had the Gemelli pasta dish (gluten sensitive) and enjoyed the flavors. For breakfast I had the Benedict Hash. My mouth wants to marry that sauce. The steak and eggs were perfectly cooked, the sauce is bold with lemon and paprika and oh so delicious.“

It was upsetting for our designated driver who was looking forward to enjoying a coffee while we had cocktails. Hoping this rule will change so we can enjoy a responsible night out in the future!“

“I am here from out of town as part of the Hurricane Helene recovery effort & this Starbucks is open currently. They can’t use the espresso machine because of the water quality currently in the city but the young woman who was working yesterday and the young woman working this morning went above and beyond brewing coffee with gallon waters & making the drinks as close to “normal” as possible.

“By far the best Starbucks I’ve ever been to. They are always super friendly, efficient, and always making sure to get your order right. Kim is the best and always makes an effort to greet me and remember my order every time. There is also a regular staff member there who I don’t know her name but she is also amazing. I always order my cold brew with light ice and when she noticed the barista put too much ice in it, she corrected it and made it a learning lesson for her fellow staff member and told her “I’m just trying to help you be the best barista you can be.” I can’t say enough good things about this location. I wish they were all as amazing as this staff!“

“I went by in to get a gift card as a thank you for a family member. They were happy to receive it. While I was there Starbucks was giving away peppermint mocha iced coffee samples. I tried one and it was extremely sweet-like hot chocolate. I will not be buying that! I like my coffee without sugar. They were able to ring me up quickly and were very helpful. The gift card choices were displayed out front and one said “thank you” so it was perfect. Overall it was a good experience.“

“This is quite possibly t he greatest Starbucks location ever. Everyone here is on point, and really friendly. The management does a great job! It's always so nice and clean, nice outdoor seating area, super fast wifi. I had the blueberry lemon muffin and a mocha with oatmilk. Service was fast and friendly and the person at the counter answered my many questions with grace and ease.“

“These guys have always treated me very well. The current senior manager, Storm, is very friendly and knowledgeable. Whenever they’re out of ingredients, they offer an alternative that they know I’ll like. Even though this location is just a kiosk and not a full blown store; they do the very best with what they have.“

“Citizen Vinyl has such a great vibe. They take great pride in every aspect of the environment. On one side, you can watch records being pressed and on the other side enjoy artists sublimely mix flavors into amazing drinks. We were fortunate enough to meet and chat with the owners. They are really working to make a difference in the community as well as reshaping the record industry one disc at a time. The staff takes feast pride in everything they do even down the music spinning on the turntable. When you visit, and you cannot go thru Asheville without stopping by, in addition to taking in the pressing and the drinks, make sure to look over the playlist. The team takes into account famous events in music history for each week to build their playlist. I cannot recommend Citizen Vinyl high enough. 6 out of 5 stars.“
