A friendly welcoming atmosphere along with plenty of seatings to take friends and/or family out for some delicious freshly prepared Asian food/dishes! The owners and staffs are super nice and friendly as well! Their Korean Crispy Chicken WINGS are an absolutely MUST TRY, available in 2 different flavors (or a mix)! Their Thai Basil Chicken is probably my favorite dish from here, flavorful with a nice kick to it. I'd definitely recommend trying out this place if you haven't yet.”

We were celebrating our anniversary and many people wished us a happy anniversary and we received a free dessert as their gift. “Yesterday was the second visit here. The first was about 4 months ago. I had never had sushi before this. I have to order off the gluten free menu as I have celiac. While there are less options and you can't do the all you can eat, there's still a pretty big list of things and variety to try different types of sushi/sashimi and rolls. I was super impressed with the food. The service was fairly fast and the food is very good. I have had no issues with any cross contamination as they take precautions for my order. Thank you for such a great experience with my first couple times having sushi!”
“We went to Lovely Grill on Saturday September 10th for the first time! And it was AMAZING! The food was so good. The LIB Wings were spicy and very flavorful. The peanut sauce with the grilled chicken reminded me of a light satay sauce. And the Jollof rice! It was so good!! We will definitely be back. The only thing I was disappointed with is that there weren't more people there enjoying this great food!”

“I've been to Rough Cut Social twice in the last week and both times have exceeded my expectations! The staff is incredibly hospitable, professional and friendly. The atmosphere is great, too. The space is large and comfortable - there are also other games to play aside from axe throwing. They have giant Jenga, Connect Four, etc.! Rough Cut Social has a bar and free popcorn! I definitely recommend checking this place out if you haven't been before or going back if you have! Rough Cut is great for family or corporate events!”

“My now wife and I hosted our rehearsal dinner here 9-29-30. We were excited about this place for a couple of reasons, mostly revolving around their effective and generous communication. We heard back quickly from Lindsey, who even promoted other places for us to host our event.Now about the Taproom: we booked the Mezzanine, the upstairs area. It comfortably fit our group of just above 30 people. We ordered pizza from Rhombus Guys, who closely with the Front Street Taproom. The Taproom let us bring all sorts of card and board games in as we socialized and caught up. At least for my beer tastes, we hit their menu perfectly. With several Oktoberfest brews to try, I was happy. A great night all around.”

That's what I told myself on night one of four in Fargo (while staying at the attached hotel). On night two I tried it. And then I went back on night three AND night four! Porter Creek is exceptional! Exceptional from front of house to back of house. Andrew and Lucas in the bar are true professionals. Andrew assured me he makes a great old fashion and he delivered. Mia, my server tonight was delightful. The food was creative, expertly prepared with superior ingredients and flavors. It was all beautifully plated and served. I really enjoyed the Walleye Fingers Buffalo Style and the Smoked Scallop and Shrimp Ceviche on the Starters menu. For entrees I tried Frenched Bone In Pork Chop, the Halibut, and the Herb Crusted Hanger Steak and I can't tell you which one I enjoyed more - they're all very good. I'm looking forward to my next stay at this hotel. It's a big menu. I've got a lot more to try.”

Neither of us would recommend asking for spicier if it's your first visit.I grabbed a Thai iced coffee for the drive back to Minnesota and it's definitely a delicious after dinner finishing touch.We'll be back for sure!”

I have never had salmon seasoned and prepared like it was in a Top Chef competition.This last year I was in Venice, Florence, Montreux, Germany and Paris in the spring and in Portugal for 2 weeks in October.I only had one meal that could even be compared to last night.Thank you for being adventurous. “Tried “Wicked Willie’s” tonight! Excellent food, incredibly easy to cook/prepare, and a good value. I got the “Willie’s Last Supper”, it was around $65 after tax. Dave, the owner, said all of this would feed one hungry person, well…. I like my food, and this fed my wife and I very generously, were both stuffed and had a good amount of leftovers. So when you see the “per person” price, that easily feeds two adults! Will absolutely have this again, excited to have it over the campfire this summer! Kudos Dave, 5 Stars!”

“We went here on Easter Sunday during lunchtime. It was my first time going to Denny's. We ordered salmon with broccoli, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, and fries as sides. My kid got mini pancakes, bacon, and apple juice. We didn't have to wait terribly long, even though there were a lot of people at the time. The food was good. The server was friendly and did a great job. The price was decent for the portion. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.”

Western themed but tastfully done with unique touches like an illuminated tree on the ceiling and natural gas lamps. Service was very polite and even turned on the basketball game we requested. Food was your standard bbq. Meats were good, not outstanding but good. The sides and drinks were very good. I will say about half the meats were quite spicy which I loved but my 10 year old did not. Overall, great experience and will be coming back.”

“This place is the truth! It's rare to find Khao Soi with tofu in the first place. And it came with all the fixings, and the curry was properly spicy with the chili that came on the side. I could drink the curry by itself and be happy! Spring rolls were also clearly freshly made and came with two seemingly homemade sauces, including an incredible herb pesto(?)-like sauce. Everyone inside was friendly and prices are incredibly fair. I will come here any time I'm in Fargo! Thank you!”

“Worse customer service ever usually they are great quick and helpful but today was the worse ever sat at a table of 10 when it a group of 4 with infant we asked to move and bus boy said why then rudely told pick your table sat for 20 minutes nobody came got up and asked to talk to manager and wait staff made a comment why did they move they are stupid to move and not manager or anyone stop them or told them enough as we were walking out the host made his comments under his breathe. So disappointed because food was great nd our family favorite place but no respect or manners Ps we are Hispanic and the comments were so rude I can only imagine what they say about those who don't speak the language”

“By far my favourite stop during our cross-country drive. They claim best breakfast in ND and I have to agree. Breakfast is a hard thing to wow me with and for the first time, I was reluctant to reach for the ketchup because everything tasted amazing and I didn't want to alter it.We chose this place because we wanted to eat at a classic American diner and it delivers on all fronts!And best of all was the service. Very cute set up and lovely, rustic ambiance. I picked this restauant because it had farm style, Norwegian food and since moving out of state 35 years ago, I miss the food of my youth! Incidentally, the rommegrout was delicious. It would have been even better with a drizzle of hot butter on top! I had the salmon. Wish I had a picture. MANY people reserved pumpkin pies ahead of time for Thanksgiving. but they were given away to customers in the store or curbside pick up. so basically, if you have reserved something from the bakery for years now, you aren't a priority to them. horrible customer service.”

“Stopped at subway today on main ave today right off the interstate. The girl who made our sandwiches I believe her name is April did an amazing job. She had been working at the subway on Sheyenne where I normally go. She is always so polite, greets you with a smile and is friendly. She just has a great attitude all around. It’s nice to see someone who is working hard and enjoying what they do. She would be a great addition to any place. Even working alone she smiles greets each person everything looks clean and smells good. Even when she would have customers in line and drive through she had a smile and didn’t stop. I would have been overwhelmed. I hope they are paying this lady good and letting her know she is amazing.”

The online menus in google and pinned on Facebook are not up to date. I had my dinner picked out before I got there and saw the real menu, so I had the special. The special came with potatoes, which my husband noticed were a little undercooked, I noticed it too, but not enough to be displeased. My friend's husband preferred the crunchy potatoes. The tables get dirty fast with the bread crumbs. I don't know why I noticed that, but I did. Not much for complaints, the good.... The food was clearly not precooked and everything was to order. Service, 10. Atmosphere, 10. If you are willing to spend a minimum of $100 on a meal for 2, you should go. When it's dark outside, it's nice.”

Just imagine a relaxing setting with multiple comfy seating areas with heaters if it cools down and a view of a neighboring patio as well as the fountain ⛲ behind. Our wait staff person, Ryan was well versed in various wines and gave suggestions related to what types of dishes he would pair them with. We took his suggestions and were totally satisfied with the cuisine that was brought over from the Tavern kitchen. The three of us relaxed on the patio and probably would still be there if it had not started to rain. The pizzas that he suggested were delicious and went well with the two bottles of wine we selected. The "grotto" is a hidden treasure in the south fargo urban plains area. You will not be disappointed.”
