“Got take out through GrubHub, 25 piece with biscuits and fries. This might now be our favorite store bought fried chicken. Crispy and crunchy for sure with a little spice to it, not too much. Honey butter biscuits are pretty good warm and the fries aren’t bad either, a little thicker cut and seasoned. Better still, you can get a lot of food for your money. In the mood for comfort food fried chicken? Give them a shot.“

“We went to Eddie V's for a birthday celebration but only told our waiter that when we sat down. Asked for no fanfare regarding the birthday. He was great about it, welcomed us and got our drink order. Then we got a delicious amuse bouche, a fried oyster with corn salsa. Excellent!! Placed our order and had yummy bread at the table that we really enjoyed. Our meal was one of the best we have had anywhere in a very long time. Steak was tender and tasty, my shrimp stuffed with crab was perfection. During our meal the manager stopped by and gave us a holiday gift of a gift certificate for our next visit which was unexpected and really kind. Our waiter was EXCELLENT. He brought us a sweet plate of desserts as a birthday gift, one was flaming bananas foster cake! All in all, we had not one complaint, the room was perfectly lit and beautiful and we had such a great night. We can't wait to go back!!“

“You probably won't have high expectations when you roll up to this place as it isn't fancy, but don't judge a book by its cover. I made the horrible mistake of eating at Pat's the other day, and the meat tasted like shoe leather. This little joint served up a perfectly seasoned hot cheesesteak and a great milkshake - I'll definitely be back.“

“This restaurant is tiny but mighty! The food is amazing, one of the best dishes in the city is the hoe cake and the mee caton. Also, the service was amazing, especially for a new restaurant. Every server was friendly and knowledgeable. I had two separate dinners here about two weeks apart from each other and everyone from the host to the person refilling the water was great! If you can get a reservation to this place, drop everything and go!“

We love this place for its unhurried atmosphere and for its timeless Americana ambience.“

“I moved to the neighborhood from Brooklyn recently. One day while walking around, I passed this unassuming place. The only indication that it was open was a chair outside with a bouquet of flowers to pin down a paper menu to the chair. The menu looked divine.

A few days later I walked past, showing my partner that the place almost seemed closed from the outside but was very cute inside. Someone who worked there came out as we were looking and was very kind, asking us if we had reservations yet. We said no but booked immediately.

The first time I visited, I had the sourdough, Marinated Mussels (hakurei turnips, miso, chili oil), Carrot (crab, brown butter), Shrimp (peaches, coppa, toasted marcona almonds), and Gnudi (corn& basil). It was an entirely no-skips meal. The mussels came cold, out of their shell, and the sauce was incredible. The “carrot” was more like a crab cake with coconut, brown butter, and an unidentifiable but delightful citrus. A perfect balance of rich & light. The gnudi seemed simple, but the lightly spicy sauce really pulled all the ingredients together. Finally, the shrimp with peaches really knocked my socks off. Lots of places will make “seasonal” menus but not put the effort into making sure that produce is top notch. The peaches would’ve been delicious on their own, but with the rest of the dish, they really shined.

The second time I went (just a few weeks later) I got the Chicory Salad (anchovy, buttermilk, comte), the Steelhead Trout (sungold tomato, perilla), and a tuna crudo special. I also re-ordered the bread, the carrot with crab, and the gnudi. Everything was just as good as last time, and the new additions were truly worth trying. Something as simple as a chicory salad can be so hit or miss - but WOW!

For dessert we had the cherry brown butter tart with crème fraiche. No complaints at all here.

Now I’ve rambled on plenty about the delicious food, which I will be back for very soon, but I truly haven’t ever been to a place with better service. The workers are extremely attentive and kind. I felt like I’ve known everyone there for a long time.

“Pleasantly suprised by this place! I was able to call and get a dozen crabs cooked in 15 minutes. They texted when it was ready and it was an easy pickup! It’s winter so the crabs weren’t heavy but they were VERY FRESH and seasoned well. I will definitely go back“

“This place is very dangerous and way too close to home. I've been there three or four times already and I have to say everything I've gotten has been absolutely amazing. “Kei Sushi is our favorite neighborhood sushi spot. We proudly bring out-of-town friends and family here to show off the quality, yet unpretentious nature, of the Philly food scene. The fish is always super fresh yet the prices are fairly reasonable. My personal favorite is their chirashi bowl — and I love that they make it kosher-style (you know you’re in Philly when this is an option already offered on the menu 😅). Overall, Kei is consistently delicious, presentation is spot on, and the atmosphere is laid back.“

“Customer service was exceptional. Seating area was a bit small but everyone was so friendly and worked as a team. Honestly the best service I ever had. I went for restaurant week and ordered the shrimp creole. Omg I cleaned my plate and was still salivating over the idea of more when I got home. My partner ordered the crab soup and the salmon. Eyes rolled in the back of his head y’all. Everything was so well and for my first time they left a lasting impression. Would definitely dine here again. I’m just disappointed the shrimp creole isn’t on the regular menu.“

“My family had dinner at Albertinos today for my mom and husbands birthday. Because there was 9 of us they require a fix price meal for each person. This price includes an app, main, and dessert - anything on the menu. The service here is outstanding. The food is better than anywhere else in town, and for me- the best Italian I have ever had. Dinner for 9 of us took about three hours. To me, this is amazing. There was no rush. They made sure everything was perfect. We were able to relax and enjoy our time. “Outstanding! I dined with my daughters on our annual holiday shopping trip early on a Sunday evening. We enjoy Capital Grill and were excited for a special meal and CG did not disappoint. We were seated promptly and our server Mary (who was a star!) greeted us immediately. We ordered drinks (dirty martini, chocolate martini and an “in fashion”), all of which were great and served swiftly. We all had apps, including the clam chowder and a classic wedge, all good. Then we we each had filets, and we shared the sides of au gratin potatoes, mushrooms and asparagus. All hot and fresh and delicious. But I really want to shout out Mary our server and the chef who combined to make this a lovely, joyous meal. Not only did they do the regular things well, but they went above and beyond to accommodate my daughter's fish allergy. They checked all ingredients to make sure no fish was in any of them (you'd be surprised where fish sauce shows up, such as in Worcestershire sauce and other sauces and dressings), and then the chef made my daughter a safe bernaise sauce just for her! So nice. We also had red wine and shared a coconut cream pie. Highest recommendation.“

“We've dined here numerous times but last night was off. Started with my Old Fashioned which was so watery. Very weak. My sea bass was very bland and the rice was undercooked. Not their usual at all. On a positive the Pecan Pie was very good as was the service.👍“
